I purchased a car from them on 8/16/21 with plans to come back the next night to sign my paperwork. Both nights after leaving the dealership, a hubcap fell off. After the first time, I told my sales person who assured me when I came back in that she had put in an order for a new set and would contact me when they came in.Two weeks later, no call. So I reach out. No response. I have reached out to her through mainly email so I have things in writing and once through phone and have never gotten a response. I even forwarded the email with all of my inquiries (once every week or two after the first two weeks of waiting) to the sales manager and still nothing.Not only that, but while I was there the sales person complained to us about a customer who made a complaint to her manager about not being followed up with after multiple attempts to reach someone.Other reviewers have had the same experience - by and large, this dealership wont respond to you if you need something after buying from them unless you are lucky enough to get the one or two really good sales people.If you have no questions and dont need anything from them after you buy the car, youre experience will probably be ok. Otherwise, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

I called the service department and left many messages that remained unanswered about open recalls on my car as well as wanting to get my brakes replaced, so I decided to stop in after reading on their website that brake service didnt require an appointment. I was told that brakes DO require an appointment, and the recalls would (understandably) require an appointment as well. I made the appointment, and then on the day I dropped my car off early in the morning and wrote on the envelope that I wanted the brakes replaced, the recalls done, and a car inspection. I got a call saying that I would need to replace another part on my car that was related to but not covered under the recall which I agreed to, and the person confirmed that they had no issue adding the inspection on even though the original appointment was for the brakes and recalls only. They had my car the full day, and when I picked it up they went over the service that was performed, saying nothing about brakes. I asked if the brakes were done, and was told they didnt need to be replaced so they werent done. While I do appreciate they didnt replace something that didnt appear to need replacing, I specifically requested they be changed, and explained to the worker when I set up the appointment, because they squeak every single time I brake even though they are not worn, just cheap. When I explained this again, I was told that the technician was unable to duplicate the issue, but if it ever happens when Im driving I should come back for them to look at it and no appointment would be needed. Which is the exact opposite thing I was told when I drove it in a few weeks prior without an appointment. Very frustrated and unimpressed. Btw, as soon as I braked while still in the Nissan parking lot my brakes squeaked. I find it very hard to believe the technician was unable to hear any squeaking the whole time they had my car.

My lease was coming to and end. I loved the new 2021 Rogue and talked with Chris in Sales. He was honest with me and told me to wait a few more months. I did just that and had the pleasure of speaking with Chris again. We set up some time and he had a vehicle ready for me. Of course, I changed my mind once seeing it and Chris went right with the punches and I ended up leaving with a beautiful 2021 Rogue.

I’ve gotten three cars from here and I have been a very loyal customer. However, my car compressor was replaced two years ago and it’s broken again after it was replaced. They REFUSED to help and stated “too bad.” I will NEVER buy a car from here again after how they treated someone who has been a loyal car buyer from here.

I bought a new car with Tom Hesser in 2017 (which was a struggle, the first salesman was so rude to me that I left; a different salesman reached out to me and took over the sale and he was really respectful and great to deal with). I always try to get my service done with them even though I live out of town. I always call at least a week ahead of time to ask to schedule my service (but they won’t make appointments for maintenance) and/or request a loaner so I can make it to other appointments while I’m in town. Normally they have stuck to the promise of providing a loaner since they are unable to make service appointments. However, they could not today and did not let me know they didn’t have a loaner. I asked if their shuttle service was running and as it turns out, it’s not a shuttle bus, it would be just one person driving you to a destination if they can. I asked if I could make an appointment since they did not have a loaner as promised and they said no. They said the business model makes more money if they do not take appointments. So though I wanted to trust and give them my business since I bought my car new from them, they are never on the same page as each other and they make promises they can’t keep. I’ve also experienced them cutting corners with their maintenance, such as not filling tires as their service list indicates they check and fill if needed.

This place is a joke! My car broke down and the earliest appointment i could get was 11 days out. So I schedule the appointment, was told to get the car towed and they’ll look at it if they have time before then. So I get it towed. I call about every other day, unable to get a hold of anyone, so i’ll leave a voicemail that’s not returned... I was able to speak with people in the sales department and explained that I’d like to possibly trade the car in or sell it outright, and asked them to get me a quote once the service department looks at my vehicle.Fast forward to the date of the appointment, which was scheduled for 10:00am. No phone calls, can’t get ahold of anyone and it’s 3:00pm now. So I have to drive down to the dealership, and I see my car in the lot, same place I left it 10 days before, except the hood is popped and it’s raining out. Awesome.I speak with a woman in the service department. She was nice, she explained that the sales department told them to not touch the car because they could get me to trade the car in. Are you kidding me!!!!???So I go to the sales department, find the sales manager (Mike, who is better than everyone else and doesn’t have to wear a mask) and ask what happened. He threw his coworkers under the bus, placing blame on the service department.I asked Mike if he could do anything for us. He said only if we buy a car.After leaving this joke of a dealership, they call me and give me a quote for a Nissan Rouge SV. Lol!!!Ken Pollock in Luzerne county gave me a better quote, treated me with respect, and wore a mask. Don’t make the same mistake I made and buy a car from these losers!-Marc Loretti

Went here for a factory recall on my 2007 Xterra. Service department was prompt and courteous. Had some errands to run but they called me within a few hours to tell me the repairs were complete and I was all set. It was a quick experience, as it is during covid time. So I just dropped off my vehicle, however I had an oil change and inspection. They also rotated tires and did a service check for free. They called with updates, and when it was finished. I believe my vehicle was there only 2 hrs. In and out.Very thorough and quick service. I last took it to another dealer, where I purchased from, and their prices seemed higher, and they were in a hurry to tell me what they did for free and how much they want to charge next time, also it was further away. Tom Hesser Nissan is a very convenient location, and close to my home as well. Shawn at the service desk was very nice and quick to share knowledge in reference to my vehicle as well as in general.

I will never take my vehicle here again. I was clearly upset about dropping my vehicle off a week before I was told it was going to be ready. I was told to rush my vehicle in because it sounded like a recall (which I was also doing research online and other cars had similar issues with recalls). Then I get called and they wanted to replace more unnecessary parts on my car, but couldn’t guarantee that it would fix my problem with the car. They then said they would have to replace more parts and they care would not be ready for another week. This is now week two and they said I would have to wait another. I was told we usually would give courtesy cars, but unfortunately they do not have any. So now I am out a car and paid over $500 for my car and they did not fix my issue. The service lady at the desk named Lisa was very rude I was clearly upset and she did not help the situation. She told me she had “other customers” on hold but she is dealing with me. As if I was not a customer. I felt very disappointed in this dealership and will never ever buy a Nissan again.

I dropped my car off Thursday 830am because the air wasnt working. They said they could not work on it until they checked with the warranty people. When we didnt hear anything by later that day we called ourselves and we were told no problem 100% covered. In the meantime we told tom hesser we wanted the work done either way. We called again on Friday and were given the run around about waiting to see if it was covered which we already k we it was and again reiterated that we wanted the work done either way. On Saturday they finally called and said it was covered.(no kidding we found that out Thursday) and they would order the part Monday. Are you kidding we were getting the work done either way and they still didnt even order the part 3 days later and now its the weekend. Our vacation was supposed to start Sunday we only got the rental are till Tuesday and they dont think it will be done by then.well it would have been if someone would have A called the warranty company and B ordered the parts. Last car I buy from there.

I went in for routine maintenance after work. When I got there, the service person took my car right in. He came out periodically to tell me what they were doing and how long it would take. The waiting area is very comfortable and I had a bottle of water while I waited.I had been procrastinating because I knew it needed service but I didnt have a big chunk of time to go in and wait. I was pleasantly surprised that I didnt wait long at all.The wash and vacuum is a bonus also. Thanks!

Just drove in because my windshield wiper was messed up and I knew I needed a new one. Service man said no need to pull your car into the garage...I can fix it right there in the drive through. He did. Now thats Service! No Wait and the stop didnt delay me from my appointed appointment at the shopping mall ! THANKS ONCE AGAIN FOR GREAT SERVICE!!!! (He offered me coffee from the waiting room .... but the service was so quick I declined the coffee.

So far so good. My Titan XD PR 5. Has not thrown another code. This was the last chance. If this did not go right I was going to dump this truck. I cannot have a truck that I cannot rust towing. Across the board Nissan dropped the ball with the XD. I would think the amount of warranty work that you put into these someone would have stepped up and addressed the quality and reliability issues. Its a shame to see them decline so rapidly. Hopefully the company wakes up soon and addresses their issues.

I have been dealing with Tom Hesser Nissan for 9 years, and I couldnt ask for a better experience over those 9 years. In November of 2011 I bought a 2012 Versa through their salesman John. He was so nice when I walked in the door and really talked me through my very first car purchase experience. He wasnt harassing like some salesmen can be. I was happy to drive off the lot just days later in my beautiful new car.Over the 9 years I had my Versa, I brought it to the dealership to be serviced. Shawn is really an amazing and trustworthy guy. He stands out from the rest. I never feel cheated or lied to when I deal with the service department (specifically when I deal with Shawn, which is more often than not).I now am purchasing a new car, and my first choice is Tom Hesser Nissan. Once again, the process has been anything but stressful from them. I have been speaking on and off with Chris, and he has truly been going above and beyond to be as helpful as anyone could hope (especially in such uncertain times during this COVID pandemic). He promptly and enthusiastically answers all of my questions. If you consider your time valuable then dont waste your time here. I regret purchasing our new Nissan rogue from this dealership. From day one they have taken their sweet old time. When we found the car we wanted and asked for help the sales lady took multiple smoke breaks. It was a 4 hour process when we knew what we wanted and had our fussy baby with us... Then cancelling the extended warranty took about 2 months because no one would answer their phone /call back. One day I stopped in after leaving a message and found the finance guy just chatting with a college and ignoring his blinking voicemail button on his phone.. and no this wasnt even close to closing time.Now we had to get an oil change.. It was about a 3 hour wait bc apparently their phone call wouldnt go through and we were in the building waiting. . piss poor service. I wish we could take the car back and go to a different dealership... never again will we go there.

Just bought my new car there and I couldnt be happier. Albert my sales rep was phenomenal and everyone there is so kind and upbeat. It was NOTHING like any other car dealership experience I had ever had. It was positive, everything was fully disclosed and they made sure I was completely satisfied with everything. Went in to have an oil change and check to see where vibrating noise was coming from. Told them only happens when idling at stop sign/light in gear or prior to moving backwards in reverse. That the noise stopped once truck started to move. Ended up being a couple of missing clamps for the heat shield on the exhaust. No problem there. Had them replaced. Then the service sales woman tells me the vibration is coming from the spare tire that was on the truck. Mind you the spare is a regular tire just on a different style of rim (Factory rim). That it was chipping and had damaged side walls (ballooning) and that she was sure that I did not want it to blow out on me while going down the highway. Then offered to replace the tire with one from the shop. Of course at a cost. I told her to hold off as I did not have the matching rim (to go with the other 3 rims) I am a part time Uber driver and I check the vehicle for safety every Saturday morning including the tires. I never saw anything wrong with the tire. I replaced the spare tire this morning and the mechanic (who I know and trust) told me that there is nothing wrong with the spare tire. I am appalled that the service sales woman tried to use scare tactics to get me to have service that I did not need. I will never go to or recommend Tom Hesser Nissan for anything again. I am also not really happy with the Nissan Frontier Truck after having to replace both leaf springs after only 40,000 to 45,000 miles.
