Im an O/O. My truck broke down in Columbia, NJ on a Saturday. I had it towed to this facility. I talked to Tom the service manager on Monday with regard to the urgency of my load. Tom was able to work me in on Tuesday. I am shocked that this place doesnt have a higher score review.Management are professional and literally bent over backwards to help repair my truck asap and get me back on the road.I dont remember the mechanics name that replaced my one box and radiator however he is definitely an expert diesel mechanic in his field. He did a fantastic job repairing my truck. He was very professional, curtious and definitely an expert in his field.One thing I wish they would allow customers to do is to briefly ask the actual mechanic a question or two with regards to the repair. I completely understand why they do not allow it however it would be nice if it was possible.I highly recommend this place to everyone. Thank you Tom and to the mechanic who worked on my truck. You guys did an awesome job.

Got towed to the Sherwood Freightliner shop when my truck de-rated and shut down automatically on the Interstate while passing through hauling a load. Fault code indicated the DPF exhaust temp sensor heat was too high, but could have been due to the entire DPF system (One Box) failing.Went into this shop expecting the worst, but after working with the polite and professional staff--salt of the earth working folks like most of us--I was back on the road in HOURS instead of DAYS as we all initially assumed it would be. Had a simple sensor problem a great mechanic got repaired and checked out in no time.What a relief to continue finding good shops like this one.Also, although parking space is a little limited, they were able to securely park my trailer (with a customers freight still loaded) in a fenced and locked lot. That was a huge benefit.

1 is the lowest I can go, if I could give a negative 10 I would.We explained to Maria in finance and Jim the sales person we did not want to take a hard hit to our credit. We submitted all of our information after asking what they needed for financing. After reviewing info she pre determined it wouldnt go thru with Daimler and only submitted to daimler, a professional would have advised someone to go your local bankI will not be going back or ever recommend them to anyoneYour ( daughter) finance person told your salesman that us submitting our financials was putting the cart before the horse, we had our financials with us . We drove 500 miles to try to purchase a vehicle. She had no interest in looking at them at that time. She gave no real explanation or if the bank came back with a counter offer.A lot of headaches could have been avoided if she did her job in the first place other than being flippant and saying I saw it wouldnt go thru but I ran it anyway, because you wanted me to, NO you all wouldnt go any further unless we submitted a credit application. And thats all that was asked submit a credit application and well go from there. Also, in talking with other dealers and other finance people her way of doing things is not very professional or thorough.

I would give zero stars if possible. I took my truck to this freightliner last weeks Friday morning. Since then I havent gotten any call or update from them.The old lady at the front desk on Saturday was not nice at all and the guy who picked the call today when I called to ask for an update said my complaint made no sense.Ive been off the road for 4 days now without any hope of getting back soon.Please do better!!!!!

Came in Thursday afternoon at 5 due to dpf malfunction and the truck being derated to 55 mph. Found out that the dpf pump was bad and needed to be replaced. They had the part in stock and at just before 4 pm on Friday, Tom called and told me truck was ready to go! Great work guys and thanks for getting me back on the road!

We were on I81 heading to Florida yesterday when our Cummins engine went into computer emergency mode. We called Sherwood at Dunmore “PA. The service manager was able to get us in very quickly and the guys diagnosed it right away but had to order in a part. They let us stay overnight and got the part at lunch time today. By mid afternoon we were back on the road. Can’t thank Tom and his guys enough!! I shared this on an RV website and praised the heck out of these guys! Thanks guys

I had the pleasure of doing business with Karl Milcalvage today. Im with another Freightliner dealer in New England and we were in desperate need of a part that they showed to have plenty of in inventory and none of our PDCs had any in them. Karl handled our request like a 100% professional. After placing the order, I received an invoice and tracking information via email literally within 10 mins of placing the order - most other dealers Ive ordered from, it sometimes takes several phone calls/emails to get this information. Thanks Karl for all your help!

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of the older woman at the service desk. She was very unpleasant and unwelcoming. She failed to contact me regarding the status of my truck or what issues the tech diagnosed. When this was brought to her attention she acted as if it was no big deal and quite frankly she could care less. The tech who worked on my truck did a great job and got me rolling in 2 days. Great work.

Personable and helpful staff. I needed my speed limiter set to 65 for a trip to Canada. They fit my truck in quickly and got me on the road again in a very reasonable amount of time. I was pleasantly surprised at the bill especially from a dealership. It came to about half of what I had anticipated.

Great mechanics and knowledgeable.Tom and Joyce were great. So was Melinda. Awesome attitudes and were great about keeping me updated.They did not try to upcharge and sell unecessary parts. They did go through and check several things after repair was completed giving me opportunity to have additional repairs made while I was there.I highly recommend this shop.

I believe this is the best freightliner dealer ship in the USA AN CANADA. I believed I had a blown turbo they could have taken advantage of that (like most shops) an charged me thousands instead being honest they found an repaired the real problem. I cant thank them enough

Great service. Hours are 7am to 730pm Mon thru Fri and 7am to 330pm on Sat. There is a hotel within walking distance and they allow dogs. Also there is a self service truck wash across the street with some paid parking

I had cracked my power steering cooler on my Volvo and Sherwood were the only shop in the area who offered to help . They did a quick fix to get me home on a Friday afternoon and Im very grateful . Thanks Tommy . Oh and the price was very fair and the job was done in under two hours .

You had my truck from Thursday afternoon when the check engine light was on, until Monday and replaced a turbo that was not bad. Guess what came on again today. The check engine light. Why dont you listen to your customers? I SAID I HAD EMAILS WITH CODE NUMBERS! but NO you didnt want them. You cost me revenue for doing NOTHING! NOW I have to find a REAL shop. I thought I could trust yours because you got me in quick and did a decent job the first time I came in, too bad I was wrong!

On 02-27-16 I got in this place with code on my computer. Its Freightliner Cascadia. Code was Knox censor and regent cant be done. Well,code changed to air pressure issue. It was air pressure valve to be replaced. Total 734,50$! Valve is 192,34$ but smart guy need 4,50 hours to replace!!!! And I was there, job was done much before! This was legal taken out from customer! At least 2,50 hours charge for nothing! I gave Im a credit for one hour diagnostic and one hour to replace. Only light was lady Joyce in front desk,very polite lady. My expectations from her that will recalculate hours didnt got through. Definitely, no decency today from mechanic shops! God bless us all!

I’m amazed! I came in at 0700 on a Saturday with a RAC failure in my 2018 Cascadia Evo, with no expectations of even being able to get in the shop much less fixed. Not only were they professional and very courteous, but handled the problem and I was in and out in less than 4hrs! It doesn’t get better than that! Truck sat for 5 days without being touched. Told it was being pulled in multiple times only to try a day later and still wasnt touched. Service desk personnel is mostly rude. Dont come here if your looking for fast professional service. Theyll take 4 times longer in any job then treat you like your outta line for being frustrated with them. If I could give zero stars I would. Not my first time dealing with these people but definetly will be the last.

I brought my truck here for repairs on tuesday told me the truck would be in the shop the same night. On the next day i noticed my truck was not in the shop so i went inside of my truck and Noticed that my CB radio and garmin gps with some cleaning supplies were stolen. Later on i made a police report that my items were stolen. I know for a fact it was done by one of there mechanics, Im still waiting to speak with the general manager. How can someone brake into my truck with out the locks bieng broken when i left my keys with them and i had the spares. If u leave your truck with them make sure u take everything out including your cb radio. Also this place is way over priced a job that i know costs 5000.00 i was quoted 26000.00 for rapairs if u have a chance to go down the road keep going do not stop here they will suck every dime out of u stay away. Now i have to tow my truck back to my company so that the rapairs can be done.

Parts department has excellent employees

Truck was towed in Monday morning around 0900, was told they would get it in the shop that evening....Tuesday morning I was told that the mechanic found 3 codes on computer, hell I knew that cause I pulled them up on dash, said he needed to diagnose the codes but wouldnt be in till sometime after 12 noon.....Tuesday evening was told he was finishing up on another job and would get on it before he left for the night.....Wednesday morning told parts were ordered and would be there by noon and the mechanic working on the truck would be in later on and should be fixed by tonight or first thing in morning.....Wednesday afternoon went there to get some clean clothes out of the truck and found it outside after service desk told me it was inside in the shop. When confronted on that they couldnt understand why it was back outside but said he would have it done before he went home.....Thursday morning I was told the mechanic would be in around noon and truck should be done by 1400-1500 and they would call me when it was ready.....Thursday afternoon around 1700 walked into dealer and was told by service desk that there were parts on order and everything was behind cause of weather. When I asked about the parts that they had ordered earlier in the week they couldnt tell me if they didnt fix it, or they were the wrong parts, or if they had even come in, and claimed mechanic was out on a test drive or something.Said parts that are/were/or whatever should be there in the morning and when the mechanic came in around noon it shouldnt take him long to wrap it up. Found truck outside again but at least there were parts (oily) laying on my carpet on the passenger side of cab. Is the first sign that someone has done something, what Im not really sure.I would not recommend this place to anyone. We have been broke down and living in a motel since Sunday morning and they dont care. They have their local customers and they get serviced first. I even overheard the Service Manager tell a customer on the phone to get his truck towed in and they would look at it right away.Tomorrow is Friday and my money says we will still be here on Monday. Our engine light was on, then our check engine light came on, and then the regen light came on but couldnt get truck to go into regen mode. Turned the truck off and then it wouldnt restart. On Monday when we got here there was a driver from PAM here with the same kind of truck, a Freightliner Cascadia and with the same problems. He had been here 11 days. Got him back on the road on Tuesday.

Service here is absolutley the worst ive seen anywhere.at the time that i am writing this review my truck has been in the shop geting fixed for three weeks, and every time i call to check on it id get the same story i got parts ordered and theyll be here tomorrow either that or i get the mechanic is out on a test drive right now, when he gets back ill have him call youwell either i dont know what tomorrow means or they dont...and as far as the call back ive gotten maybe two out of countless times ive calledI would not recomend this place to anyone who needs to get back on the road.

Bad. Really needed an airbag installed on my KW. I had the bag with me. I was told by some douche in service that they only work on freightliners! Really, what school did your mechanics go to that they can only service frieghtliners? Went to international was on the road in an hour
