This review is not for the store itself, but for the deli. I do not live here but was visiting my parents and decided I would pick up some dinner and ordered the family dinner. It should serve 4, but in reality after my 3yr old had a plate and I had my plate there definitely was not enough for two more people. The mixed veggies that I ordered were not cooked through and the scalloped potatoes though cold were actually not bad. So for my parents, myself and my two toddlers (counts as 1 adult) it just is not nearly enough. This should be advertised as a dinner for two, that is more accurate. I am a 6’ tall woman and my parents are both 5’11. Just disappointing, workers were great though and I can’t leave that out.

I do not recommend this location! First of all this store sold expired bread product, finally they don’t train their employees well the cashier did not grab me a price chopper card or give me information when I had asked for one she continued to check the people behind me, I asked her if she could grab the price chopper card and she just stared at me blankly for awhile then grabbed it, two things; one, staring blankly makes guests uncomfortable, and two not finishing a transaction completely looks extremely unprofessional. The customers behind me ended up rushing me because of this and even shoved me and called me terrible names. I’ve been twice since I’ve returned two Leavenworth and they were the two most upsetting experiences I’ve had inside a grocery store. I didn’t feel welcome, comfortable, or happy with visiting. They allow others to be aggressive and will stand aside quietly and not do a thing, (the security guard was not on duty). They should not allow this kind of interaction to occur even if the guard is not there. I mean this makes not only the location look bad, but Price Chopper. I am studying hospitality and have lot of experience in the field, I will say that the experience that I encountered should not have occurred period. Through my perception they have low standards, low morale, poor structure, and upsetting guest service/product/ customer base. If you don’t want to be attacked or walk away with expired product; bump into negative energy in general I wouldn’t choose this store. Giving a negative 5 stars ;they caused me too much trouble and wasted time. Not a good look for a supposed professional company.

I have been ill for two days and spent 2 hours ordering on instacart; It wouldnt go through. I called = all the man said was it was down. I told him my situation; he said call Dillons - didnt offer to manually record a few items, just blew me off, I am an elderly widow. Yes, great service, NOT!

Absolutely wonderful job on the remodel! Only thing I dont care for is the single door entrance, they should have kept the two door entrance but not a deal breaker.

Frankly if walmart did a better job of consistently stocking the strawberry milk my kid likes to drink, I would never be in price chopperTheir pricing is not competitive… Why should I spend $20-30 more on literally the same stuff here that Im buying at Walmart or the commissary??? And their pricing has gotten worse after the renovations…

Nice country shop. Theres always a weekend sale going on. Organic foods. Place to eat a hot meal.

The deli peeps need to teach their newbies on whats Olive Loaf and whats not, went there Friday for my mom & she wanted olive Loaf so went to the deli of course newbies were on the counter I ask for olive loaf she said ok (she even repeated what I wanted it) well she had troubles finding it & ask another person who took over well he found something but it wasnt what I ask for (yea it was my bad I should of looked what was in the package to make sure but I fig they knew what they were doing cuz I never really had issues B4 this) the next day mom told me it wasnt olive loaf & it wasnt even the tag they put on it which it was p&p it was plain loaf so next time I have to remind myself to make sure its what I asked for 🤦🤦

Great value if you sign up for chopper rewards. They are in the middle of remodeling so things are a bit messy but will be nice when done

Its not what it used to be. The deli section has downsized. Not much variety. I miss them having that entire cold section where they had all of the potatoe salad and prepared meals to go. They still have them but not near as many. Idk.

Did online pick up. It was a joke. Most the stuff they had when ordered they didnt have when they filled my order. Called when we got there for it to be brought out, no show. Had to go get it ourselves. Lady had an attitude and it wasnt even our order. Wont go back.

Every time I come to this store, there are multiple people walking around with no mask. Theres a person right at the front door and no one says anything to these people. Did the law change for the state? Management and Store Leadership need to enforce the policy

Got there at 957 pm. The door was locked. Security guard said they were closed. I said what time do they close. He said 10. I said it is now 958. He stated they always close a little early. As I walked away they locked the door. So really close at 955. Just letting everyone know.

Somewhat deceptive looking from the outside. When I first walked up to the store I didnt think I was going to be very impressed, however once I got inside, my mind was immediately changed. Very spacious, well stocked, and clean store. I go shopping there from time to time. And the prices are competitive

Store is clean with spacious aisles. Receive credits each time you visit the store. The store has a weekly special, ad paper with great savings. Lots of bargains. If you cant find a particular item then ask one of the employees. They are glad to help.

This store is pretty much what I expect from a grocery store. It was well stocked, and the prices were ok. Since my wife and daughter are vegan I was disappointed by their vegan selections, but overall I would say I am likely tl return.

Everything I needed was in stalk. They even sanitized the carts prior to giving to customers. There we also a lot less people here than walmart which is always great. Over great experience.

Great store with wonderful staff. Store is always clean and well stocked at all times. Im very impressed with the store hours, opening at 6am and closing at 11pm every day, seven days a week. Food is always fresh, and the store includes a bakery, salad bar, deli and fresh meat/fish market that serve fresh food daily. Oh, and theres a Starbucks inside too :)

I was in the mood for fried chicken. KFC across the street has closed. I got my fried chicken at the deli. The chicken was good. The mashed potatoes and gravy was so good I might go back just for the potatoes and gravy!

Some things are high priced. Meat is better than Wal-Mart. Mom loves shopping here bause it reminds her of the grocery store back in our home town in Ohio. Overall I would recommend this stor.

Decent prices on food items. Excellent customer service. Great hours. The fresh-baked pies were delicious. Large parking lot and easy to notice from the main street.

The store always has friendly staff that id eager to help. Ive never had a problem with anything here. I do notice that when it comes to specials and selection that it varies from the other Price Choppers location that I go to. I realize sometimes this has to do with what can be delivered it to the area and what the manager orders. They dont always have everything that is in the flyer but thats okay. Otherwise I dont have anything negative to say about this place.

Grocery prices seem high compared to others. But they do have a great salad bar and deli. Plus they do hot breakfast and lunch very reasonable and food is good.

Perfect example of looks being deceiving. I just moved to the area and was looking for a nearby grocery store to go to regularly. I had passed Price Chopper up in favor of stores further away because the exterior looked much like some of the stores in other places that werent so good once you went inside. My mistake prejudging this place. I went inside and the store was very well stocked, extremely clean, well organized and has an impressive variety of products. Ill be a repeat customer.

Like some of the other reviewers mentioned, the store does need updating. Im not faulting the store for that as their owner prefers putting money into its more profitable stores elsewhere. This store has many employees that have been working there over 20 years and a few even longer than that. Its great to see their familiar faces every time I go in. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I always buy my steaks at Price Chopper because they constantly have great sales on them and they are of excellent quality.

Almost always have a negative experience here. The times that are good are very good but the ones that are bad leave a horrible impression for days. The police in here especially are sarcastic and rude for no discernable reason and even when Im extremely polite many CSAs scowl at me.

I love the $1.00 fresh loaves of bread. Tear some of the bread into pieces, put in a bowl, top with spaghetti or alfredo sauce and any type of cheese, microwave, and you have a quick, delicious, and healthy meal or snack.

Price Chopper is on the spendy side, but I can go there to find just about anything I need to create something delicious! I really appreciate that! If I need organic(dont knock it) they most usually have it. I made an amazing BBQ sauce from ingredients I found only there!

Great specials in weekly ad and weekend ad. Always go to see friendly faces. I know where everything is and aisles are marked showing whats there. Went to get a great deal on General Mills cereals and fruit snacks for daughter. Very close to my house.

The store is old. The deli dosent have anymore of a selection on the hot part than a family get together. In fact the family get together has more selections and better quality. This is not a reflection on the employees. They can only do with what they have at their disposal. Balls needs to step it up. Also. Fell like a lot of times our store is actually a recycling store for them.

This particular PC is always clean, well lit, and the staff is kind and helpful. Even better? They have a great little selection of wine! 🍷

Great specials and helpful employees, but they always are understaffed at the registers. Today was the third time in the past month where they only have two cashiers, no self checkout, and there are a dozen people in each line. A 10 minute wait to check out and there were no calls for additional cashiers or any managers to jump on a register for the momentary rush of customers. If you are in a rush you should plan to shop somewhere else.

The produce in this store is terrible theres an older Mexican lady that works at the checkstand unhelpful and rude the other people that work at the check stands are very nice the store is very expensive compared to other stores

Price Chopper is a great place to shop. They have Excellent Staff and Customer Service. They have a Fabulous Salad Bar. I highly recommend them.

This grocery store has more selection than any other local grocery. Needed lemon curd for a recipe and it was stocked on the shelf. Meat selections are always good for price point. Always helps to have a Starbucks inside.

This Price Chopper seems to be the neglected one of all the ones Ive been to. You would think that Leavenworth (there has to be a million gas stations here) or PC would offer us a gas station locally to earn our fuel rewards. Doesnt amount to much off the pump when I have to drive to Platte City or Bonner Springs for my reward. The selection is small and if there is a sale, expect the local coupon clipper to wipe them out of stock. Most of the time the prices arent that much of a bargain. Once every two months doesnt cut it for me when I need groceries more often than that.

Had some deli meat cut up and this isnt the first time. We have been in there many times for the same thing. Was a little disappointed about the meat dept not having the ham we usually get, but thats ok. I understand. The lady in the deli, and I wish I wouldve gotten her name is just does such an excellent job and is so nice. I mean Everytime we go in. I love Price Chopper...

The store is hard to walk through with kids the store always has pallets in the middle of the floor. I saw trash on the floor and 4 employees standing around talking. They need to learn if you have time to lean you have time to clean.

This place has great prices on food. If you have a Price Chopper card which is easy to get it makes it even cheaper right place to go grocery shopping. I recommend shopping here rather than Walmart Supercenter. Staff is much more friendly and can be found anywhere in the store for help if you need it.

They have good sales, but their reward card is virtually useless fornrealy gas points since theres no quick trip in town... The employees here are pretty rude, though. The deli staff was very nice, and we love their chicken, the chopper chicken Tuesday is a good deal.

Price Chopper stocks a broad range of a lot of quality comfort foods that makes shopping there seem like a treasure hunt.

I love their sales and produce. I have their shopper card and get the 5% off groceries. They also have 5% off on Mon, Tues, Wed for military, so I get my expensive stuff at 10% off :)

Good selection on most things, and friendly service, if youre willing to pay somewhat higher prices than Walmart. I also regularly visit the Starbucks in there, and get both fried and rotisserie chicken from the deli by the large salad bar.
