The potato salad was delicious and I definitely want to try their casseroles😋 i got the chopped chicken liver which was yummy. Id been looking for a place since Bagel Palace closed😞 but Goldbergs brightened my spirits😊
Great Experience. Ive been looking for a NY Bagel and I finally found it. This made me very happy today. I had plain bagel with Lox, I would have preferred more cream cheese but it was delicious and bagel was fresh. The egg bagels were great too. I will definitely be back.

This is by far my FAVORITE breakfast place in Atlanta! Their food is always delicious and their service is quick and friendly! Whether you are looking for a nice sit-down breakfast or for something to-go, Goldbergs is the place to go! Their bagel breakfast sandwich is my go to and a must try but if you are looking for something sweet, try their fluffy french toast! Make sure you pick up some fresh bagels while you are there too!
Good bagels, but they NEVER get the takeout orders correct. Even when everything on the ticket is correct, they will forget something or give you the completely wrong order. Always check your order before leaving. 9/10 you will need them to fix it.
Best bagels you’ll find in the Chamblee/Dunwoody area (wouldn’t compare with New York though, so don’t try). Good coffee!The veggie omelette ($10.99), add cheese (+ $1.00), is my go-to. I get it with the potato latkes, which are perfectly crispy and served with applesauce, and a toasted everything bagel. The portions are huge, so I save half of the omelette and half of the bagel to take home for a wonderful breakfast the next day!My husband gets the 2 egg breakfast ($7.99) with a toasted everything bagel and a side of fries (+ $1.00). It always comes with way more than 2 eggs. He’s gotten the bacon before and said it’s okay. We’ve also gotten their Reubens, which are actually really delicious.My friend got the mushroom barley soup and said it was good!For Atlanta, there are better breakfast places. But for this area, it’s a really great option. Definitely recommend!

Im excited to finally have found New York style bagels in the Atlanta metro!Even better that they have awesomely priced specials and vast variety of bagels, sandwiches, soups/salads, etc.Today, I had the Special #1: A nova bagel (on a jalapeño /cheese bagel, topped with cream cheese, capers and onions) and coffee (They have flavored coffee!) Total: $9.17 (Nov 2019)Verdict: DeliciousAdd in a spacious and clean dining room area and bathroom, very friendly and helpful staff (Thanks Susan and Q), and free parking... we have a winner.My only gripe is that its not near my house so I can come everyday lol.
I’m from the NY tri-state area. I moved down here 5 years ago and haven’t found a decent bagel place in Atlanta until I found Goldberg’s. These guys are legit. Very good bagel shop and deli. You can’t go wrong with them. 5 stars all around

Employees are friendly, helpful and actually acknowledge the presence of delivery drivers. Its one woman who works by the to gos and she be soooo point that I had to come leave a great review. This place is near our office, so we have given them multiple chances. We went today. FOR THE LAST TIME.They don’t have Taylor’s Pork Roll. What kind of bagel shop doesn’t have that...? We ordered an everything bagel w/egg, cheese & sausage. The bagel had NO flavor and the sausage was a couple of links. Like Jimmy Dean. Seriously....... We also ordered a plain toasted bagel with cream cheese. (Like as basic as you can get). The bagel was barely toasted and it tasted like dough. Dough and cream cheese. Yum.......Not.........

Always liked their food, previous issues with former cashiers (rudeness, oh well attitudes, etc.) BUT it is so much better now. The climate has improved dramatically. The current young lady is sweet, personable and easy to speak to - a people person.

Placed a pickup order this morning and oh my goodness.... worst place to get food! Brought our baby with him to get curbside pickup. The store employees were just hanging out inside the restaurant and chatting it up. I could see them through the window but nobody would answer the phone. Waited outside at the parking lots for about 10 min and nobody answered the phone. Finally I had to risk covid, go inside, and interrupt the employees conversations to get the food.Will not order again
The food was great, but the service was a little lacking. I had to wait about 15 minutes to ask if I should seat myself or wait for someone to seat me. I was standing RIGHT BY THE CHECKOUT, and neither of the young ladies behind it bothered to ask if I needed help or if I was dining in/carrying out. I had to ask them what the procedure was. My waiter was also a bit rude. I gave the 5 star rating because I saw how some of the other staff were spot-on in their manner, attentiveness, and helpfulness...and the Reuben was just DELICIOUS!

Goldbergs breakfast tacos are quite possibly the best breakfast tacos Ive had, certainly in recent memory. I typically order through Grubhub, but recently they removed a lot from the menu (including the tacos).Big shout out to Hannah for going well out of her way to make sure I was able to get my favorite dish delivered!

One of the best Jewish delis in Atlanta. They have all the usual choices of dishes for all meals. You can even get casseroles to take home and bake yourself. Highly recommended.

My mother worked right behind this restaurant 15 years ago, and would bring me here all the time. I now live 2 minutes away, and love to drop by for bagels or sit down for a nice weekend breakfast. I loved it then, and I love it now.Simple food, nothing too fancy. It’s just something you can rely on :)

I’ve always loved Goldbergs. However, I was very disappointed in my last encounter with them.I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese. There was no cheese.The biscuit was cold and dry.I asked for utensils and other things that come with an in-restaurant order. I got none.I’ll think twice next time.
Met one of our daughters for a great breakfast. From French toast, to pancakes, to scrambled eggs, we sampled a portion of their menu - and each of us were well pleased. Some may remember when Goldbergs served primarily bagels, but they have vastly increased their menu as well as their style of service - from carry-out to full sit down service. My only regret was that I didnt treat myself to some of their pastry. Yes, the prices might be slightly higher than expected, but the quality of the food and service more than justified what we paid.

My wife and I went in around 3:00 pm on a Thursday. I ordered a Ruben with onion rings and she ordered a chicken-Ruben and Lentil soup. The Lentil soup came first and it was good maybe a little to much spices. My Ruben came out with soaked bread and no 1000 island dressing, I guess they for got to strain the sauerkraut. My corn beef didn’t taste fresh and I eat a lot of Rubens and this was not a good Ruben. They exchanged it for a BLT for me. They had a lot of attitude when they brought the BLT to me. The waitress said the cook wanted me to put my own mayo on so the bread wouldn’t be saturated and soaked again. The Bacon was burnt and the tomatoes were cut into wedges instead of slices which is hard to keep in a sandwich. My grocery store frozen onion rings were cooked to long with old grease. They forgot to put sauerkraut and 1000 island on my wife’s chicken Ruben. I had high expectations for this restaurant but I will never try to eat there again.

We got delivery from UberEats today, and the food was outstanding as usual. The omelettes were big with plenty of ingredients. Well worth the money. It’s so sad that the delivery services are taking advantage of restaurants and customers with high fees.
The bagels are tender to the bite and full of flavor. The Nova special is a super great deal too! Carol at the register works hard with a smile, and the same goes for the whole crew. Very grateful for this spot, whos been serving the Dunwoody community for SO many years! Were a better community because of them. :)

Very disappointing experience with Rosh Hashana order. Wanted to place order 2 weeks ahead. Unable to place on-line as website had not been set up yet. I called the number listed on website to call for placing orders and subsequently communicated with a woman about my order and the fact that I would be picking it up at the Dunwoody location on Friday. Got there at 2:30 per the instructions and my order was nowhere to be found! To his credit, the manager put it together for me at the last minute but unfortunately the chocolate babka we had fantasized about since last year was not there. Instead we were given one slathered in sugar and cinnamon that neither one of us could stomach and ended up throwing out. I will say that the woman I communicated with emailed me and offered to send me the mal via delivery but by then it was way too late as she emailed me Saturday morning. I had tried to make this a somewhat special occasion in these challenging times by ordering some catering but this certainly did not turn out that way.
We had our first experience at Goldbergs today and we were beyond pleased! Its a great family restaurant with delicious food and excellent service! The manager, Mark stopped by our table to chat and make sure everything was going well with our food and service - he was kind, personable and a pleasure to speak with!! Not only that, our waitress, Monica was attentive and quick with service! We had a wonderful experience from our walk in the door until our departure. This has quickly become our regular breakfast and sandwich spot, we will definitely return on a weekly basis. Weve been 2 minutes away from Goldbergs for the last 7 years and hadnt tried it until today, so happy we found this gem!!! The buttermilk pancakes were delicious btw!!
Clever Broadway play illustrations decorate this New York style deli. Good selections of breakfast meals and sandwiches, soups and salads. Recently ownership has changed and subtle changes have occurred. The potato salad used to be creamier, for instance. They have good take home casseroles. Portions are generous. Theyve gotten pricier under new owners. Lots of choices in every category. I especially like the Challah French Bread.

Goldbergs is an institution in Dunwoody and, though part of a chain, one of the best local delis in Atlanta. We primarily visit during breakfast time and can strongly recommend their range of bagels and cream cheeses and an excellent corn beef hash. Impeccable service, especially from Mandy, make it an inviting destination that youll want to keep returning to!
We love Goldbergs! Great bagels, and very delicious sandwiches. We usually go and sit with our dogs outside and have a delicious breakfast on the weekends. The staff is also very friendly. Ive seen them deal with some picky customers before and they always keep their best foot forward. But most importantly, the food is great!

We were seated immediately. Even though they were very busy, our server was friendly and attentive. The food is always excellent and well worth the trip. We will be going back!! A++++ for food, quantity of food served (we always end up with leftovers), and excellent service!

Normally love Goldbergs! Would NOT recommend ordering anything to go during this time. They have completely messed up any order I have placed online and I always have to wait 15 minutes at least beyond the scheduled pick up time.
First time at this Goldbergs, though I have visited other locations in the past. Was seated near the kitchen and thus witnessed two eye-opening actions by the same busboy. First, as a server was delivering food, a bagel slipped off the plate onto the floor. She said to the nearby busboy, Need an everything bagel. He picked it up and surreptitiously slipped it back to the kitchen, bypassing the trash can that was right there. About 30 seconds later, out comes a bagel to be delivered to the unsuspecting patron. My guess is that its the same bagel.Now Im watching him in shock, and see that as hes stacking a load of bussed dishes, he takes an applesauce that was on a plate, partially consumed, and adds it to the stack of fresh applesauce sides in the prep area. I confirmed with staff that these were indeed fresh sides.Even though I have no intention of returning to this location, I brought these matters to the managers attention for the sake of other patrons.Visit Goldbergs at your own risk.

I stopped bye the Dunwoody location with hopes to grab a casserole for a Church meeting tomorrow. Mark, the manager, went out of his way to hook me up with a killer Chicken Pot Pie! Such a great deal and so many tastey options! I will definitely make this my stop for meal commitments going forward!

My go-to place for bagel and cream cheese in the morning; the bagels taste even better if you get there early enough while the bagels have just come out of the oven. Good coffee as well. But best of all is the friendly service I get from the staff.
They really need to revamp online order pickup. Despite ordering and paying online I had to wait in a line 15 people deep to pick it up. Also... when I reached the front of the line I was informed they werent fulfilling any online orders!! Would have been nice of them to turn off online ordering on their website, or call, or email... something to prevent me from wasting my time. On the bright side, their bagels are good.
I usually just get bagels and lox cream cheese to take home. Best bagels outside of NY. However, only in Dunwoody. The bagels are not consistent with each location. I have had other items which were also delicious - sandwiches, soup. Desserts are not so yummy.

Goldbergs used to be a quality deli but the new ownership has turned it into something more akin to a Walmart deli counter. Employees are clueless likely due to what seems to be a very high turnover rate, even for managers.
2nd time here. 30+ minutes for 2 bagels (untoasted) and a cream cheese on the side. Take out. Youre Thomas? Youre still here? 🙄 Yall come on, please. Absolutely never again.

I love Goldbergs Deli. Its as close to being back in NY as you can get. Food is always hot and fresh. Deli is always great and the bagels are awesome. The best part of Goldbergs is the staff! They hire the best employees!!!!
We no longer live in Atlanta and Goldbergs is a place we REALLY miss. I always pick up bagels when in town. We want a Goldbergs at Lake Oconee!

Good deli food. Great selection of meat and very good bagels. Parking can be a bit tough. Unlike the location at the Avalon, the servers know what a Potato Knish is. Parking can be a bit tough, theres plenty of it, just not right in front of the store.

This place was awesome, the staff courteous, and friendly and most surprising is for a Jewish restaurant they hire a lot of coloured staff. The food is excellent i enjoyed every bit of it. Good food at reasonable prices. Reminds me of a saying by Yogi Berra, Nobody goes there anymore, the place is too crowded. Had not been to Goldbergs since the late 80s - almost 30 years! Stopped in last Sunday for a quick lunch. The line for indoor seating was almost out the door so we ordered take out and wound up eating at the tables outside. Darn good pastrami sandwich on rye. The bride enjoyed her bagel. A quality lunch for two for less than $25. Recommend
I hate to have to leave a review like this on a place I frequent but this new manager Tim that you guys have in here had to be the worst manager that I have ever come in contact with. My order was wrong and I asked for a manager first off he was in street clothing and would not talk to any of us that were trying to complain about our orders being wrong. Then when i asked the girl in the deli to correct the order I received the wrong order again so I left. Don’t even get me started the the other manger she can’t even work her way around a pencil and that’s all i have to say on the matter. I will not be returning to this or any other location. Thanks for the good times I use to have there.

Ordered 2 summer specials to be double toasted. We didnt get what we ordered. We got upcharged almost $5 for flavored cream cheese to not receive what we ordered and we didnt get the flavored cream cheese. We have tried to call twice. No one can be reached. Totally disappointed and will take my business elsewhere.

Goldbergs, which used to be Boychicks Deli, is the best place for fresh-made bagels and smoked lachs in the Dunwoody area. They have a rich and varied menu to suit any taste. They serve my favorite - breakfast- all day. Weve never had a bad experience there, and neither will you.
