Chuck is an awesome salesperson. We had to travel from TX to pick up a dually and he was very accommodating to make the process seamless. Highly recommend this dealership and if you are looking for a Ram ask for Chuck he will get you taken care of for sure!!!
Dont take your vehicle here for service. They are the most dishonest people you will ever meet. Charged a fortune for unnecessary parts before making a very simple repair under warranty. Be warned!
These guys have been giving us a run around like none other. Its taken them 3 weeks to even tell us our pickup needs a new engine. The pickup is under warranty and its been an absolute nightmare to get this fixed. Not to mention they tell us its going to be at least another month or two. Mind you we broke down in Durango on a trip so we were forced to tow it here because thats the only dealer close. Its been a terrible experience.
It’s a tough losing your mode of transportation while relocating to a new state. Morehart was professional and helped me get back on the road. Thank you service team.
Dean the internet sales manager was great and extremely accommodating. I was completely ready to buy a truck from him and then he handed me off to a salesman that was pushy, rude, and just the complete opposite of Dean. Will not be doing business here unless they let him handle it from start to finish.
This place is absolutely amazing so much better than advantage Dodge and Farmington 10 star rating amazing service advantage Dodge in Farmington should be sued
2017 Jeep Wrangler Hard Rock 15,xxx miles oil pressure sensor apparently bad. Found it is not covered under any warranty even though this is a common issue with Jeep’s and required dismantling the upper portion of the motor to replace an inexpensive sensor. Service advisor rather blunt in stating this is not something he will argue with you about. Looks like a new Bronco in my future to get away from poor quality and service.
Working with Matt Blanchard and Sean Oneil over the last half dozen years and several vechiles has been an absolute pleasure.
Sean O’Neil and Matt Blanchard made my buying experience one of the best I’ve ever had. They worked hard to get me an unbeatable price and their customer service was top notch. Once I picked out my vehicle, we signed the papers and were on the road in our new ride in less than an hour. The whole experience was outstanding and I will surely return time after time. Love my new Jeep!
Jeeps are legendary, nice service center too
Stopped here to look at a jeep with my boyfriend. The staff here was super friendly
Ive dealt with a lot of dealerships and salesmen. This was probably the smoothest and most pleasant experience Ive had with purchasing a vehicle.
Very disappointed. As a former Chrysler employee and lifelong Chrysler/Dodge owner I was extremely upset that the young man in the service was indifferent to our needs. My husband and I are from Tennessee and are having transmission troubles. He could have sent someone out to do a 5 minute diagnostic but instead told us we could wait and see if he could fit us in with no guarantee. We said we would wait while trying to figure out our options. He didnt take our names or numbers, he was not friendly and had no intention on helping us. This is why people buy Toyota etc. Sad.Update: Per your response, I have no desire to call and discuss. Booked up or not, your service person was unprofessional and unhelpful. We rented a truck and towed our van to Beatrice, Nebraska where the dealership there was booked and yet more than helpful. Their transmission guy was on vacation but they offered us a free diagnostic and then a referral to a reputable transmission place who got us right in. It would have been so easy for your service department to have done that for us and it would have saved us the money, time and aggravation of towing it. I think your team could learn a lot from them.
Very good service and quality team. I was having some issues with a major repair that led to further problems with my vehicle. Arron and his team were very kind and professional to stand behind their work and resolve the issues for me without any headache. Also the shuttle driver is very nice. Thanks Morehart!
Oil change and check up. The service manager was great. Took the time to let me know about a warranty fix that I need to accomplish. I cant use them now that I have moved. The only complaint was the timing. It was a long wait for the service and not a real comfortable waiting room in the afternoon. Other than that - good to go.
Service department is a actual joke. A JEEP dealership that won’t work on a JEEP over 10 years old. I would stray far away from this place... they won’t back up their product... even if you are trying to spend money there! Go down the road to Durango Motor Company, they will won’t ok ANY vehicle, even if they didn’t sale it!
The Jeep service department is great. Always excellent service.
Had some warranty exhaust work done on my Jeep Grand Cherokee, and when I got it back there was an annoying rattle I noticed when outside the car at idle. Figured it was a loose heat shield from the repair, but when I crawled under my SUV to take care of it myself I realized that the mechanic had bent back all of my heat shield instead of removing it and reinstalling it properly as he should of to make the warranty repair. I might expect that kind of mechanical work from a half rate repair guy, but certainly didn’t expect it at a dealer.
From Deans initial contact, to Johns friendly, no pressure, knowledgeable sales help, to Stephens candid and efficient F&I presentation, this was truly a five star dealership. I walked in after wasting 2 hours at the competitor across the street accomplishing nothing; I drove out in a new-to-me truck that fit my budget and needs to a T. It is VERY difficult go get this level of service in the Four Corners; this native New Yorker highly recommends you go to Morehart Murphy if you want to cut the BS and just do some business!
Brought my 2019 RAM 1500 to the body shop to fix an 8 inch crease in a door. Took them 3 weeks for the repair! If it takes them so long to get in parts, they should wait until they get the parts before they take in the vehicle. Unfortunately the only ones who can recognize what parts are needed are those doing the work; those in the office are apparently incompetent to do estimates.Since there were 2 recalls on the truck and the service department is just across the street, I thought it would be a convenient time to also have the recall work done. I asked both the body shop and Antoinette in Service to coordinate to get this done. One would think 3 weeks would be enough time to make this happen, but no, they couldnt be bothered to do a simple service for a customer. When Jim Martin ran the body shop by himself, one could always expect efficient service. Now the 3 or 4 people there apparently dont give a damn about the customer. This was my second of two bad experiences involving Antoinette in Service. Because of her incompetence I now have to go Farmington to take care of the recalls. Jim Morehart has to start paying attention to whats happened to his business.Note: The people I dealt with in both the body shop and the service department are women. I wholeheartedly applaud Morehart for employing women in normally male-dominated positions, but gender is no excuse for incompetence and poor service.
Best service and sales team in the 4 corners. Hands down.
I am very pleased with my interactions and service with Morehart Murphys outstanding team including Gary M., Chuck, Matt H. and Stephen in financing, even the Service Center. My prior vehicle was beyond repair and they did not take advantage of me but directed me to get a better vehicle with no problems!! They took VERY GOOD care of my family and I from service to trade in sale. I felt like they really cared about our needs and were not just trying to make a sale. I received 5 star service for sure! Thanks!! I LOVE my new ride!!
Great dealership. I have purchased or leased 7 cars and trucks here. They have serviced all of them and kept them running great. The sales team and service department are easy to work with and treat you fairly. Great people and locally owned.
When my wife (a physician) went to buy a Grand Cherokee at this dealership she was asked “well that’s what you want but what is your husband going to let you get”. Misogyny is alive and well at this dealership! I tried their service department and they not only stole some items from my truck they didn’t do the work they were suppose to do. This is the worst dealership in the country. Rude, obnoxious, and dishonest is no way to do business.
Great customer service, my family and I were very happy with our purchase and experience!
Great dealership and friendly people, definitely recommend it if you need anything to do with Dodge or Ram.
I took my vehicle in for warranty service, and the process went fairly smooth to begin with. However, upon my vehicle being returned to me I noted that some parts had not been placed back on the vehicle. Assuming a simple human error by the tech, I contacted the service department and asked when I could pick them up. Service department personnel were rude and accusatory in correcting a simple mistake on their end. On follow-up survey from Jeep, I provided honest remarks as to the situation and what had occurred. Several days later I was prompted to complete a second survey. Among other questions on the second survey it asked if I had been contacted by the dealership to discuss my concerns. I marked that I had not, and thus did not change any of my remarks on the survey. Shortly after my vehicle developed issues relating to the warranty work the dealership had performed and upon contacting them to attempt to schedule to have it checked I was told they would no longer service my vehicle due to the poor surveys I had left. Rather than attempt to correct their mistake, they chose to refuse service to avoid future poor reviews. This leads me to believe that they are incapable of providing any better service than what I received the first time. Jeep corporate, on the other hand, was quick to help me out and help me to resolve the issue with the assistance of another dealership. The other dealership was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. I cannot speak as to the sales staff, or any other department at the dealership, but the service department uses highly unethical business practices and should be avoided at all costs.
Very great honest helpful people family owned everything hear is great there service department and sales team are all great buy your car hear great people will go above and beyond
Had to take my vehicle there to get fixed with the radio. Told me they couldnt fix it and it would be 1200 dollars. My brother fixed it I gave him a gift card for 25 dollars all they had to update it but refused to even do that.
Went in to have a window fixed. Ended up having them adjust my door and fix my jeeps recall which I didnt even know I had. They were so good. I brought it in at 7 and by 10 they had it looked and fixed. Best dealership i have ever.
Great service! Unbelievably helpful & so nice. Got me out in a timely manner
Very nice clean,comfortable and friendly
About 10 days ago our vacation got just about ruined, oil pump on my truck had an issue. Got it in the service and got lucky. Annette took over, coordinated parts arrival, rental car, dealt with my warranty company and long story short, all was done on time. Professional and corties,, she is surely great asset to any organization! I hope I dont have another brake down with my truck or car, if I do, I hope it is in Durango. Thank you!! Annette
I cant remember this guys name but he was great to me ! He helped me out and actually brought the air filters I was requesting to have replaced out to the waiting area to show them to me . He was being so nice and he gets 5 stars .... the woman that helped me just before him tho.. she was pretty rude and grumpy and snapped at him for just trying to help clarify the situation . He apologized for her when he clearly wasnt responsible for her actions . Whether shes superior to him or not -how she treats her employees and customers is inferior .
Stopped in for DEF fluid. Fast friendly service at the parts counter. Looked to have a good selection of the cummins . However, they need a Ram, Jeep sign on the main road.
Professionalism? Respect? Thats laughable! When I was looking for a vehicle, the salesman would ONLY talk to my then-husband who was with me, even though I was the one looking for a new vehicle! Needless to say, they didnt get my business. Unbelievably sexist! Ladies: if youre looking for a new vehicle, DO NOT SHOP HERE!!
Had to take my Jeep in for service. Great people and terrific mechanics. It was fixed in less than a day.
My car broke down just outside of Durango on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend when the service department was closed. After being towed to the dealership, the last two people there (Chi and Greg) did all they can to help me out. They called all over town to find me and my girlfriend a hotel to stay at, give us tips and pointers on the town for the weekend and Greg personally drove us to the hotel on his way home. You guys are truly exceptional people. Thank you very much.
With Morehart Murphy Subaru Service, I have had a minimal great experience with their work. Their customer service and employees are wonderfully polite and explain parts and cars well to people who are challenged intelligently about cars. However, the two times they have kept my car to work on have been terrible. The first time, they kept my car for two to three months and it worked ok afterward. The second time, they informed me that my alternator was failing; however, an additional mechanic showed me that my battery was actually failing, not my alternator. I feel as if the mechanics need to do a more thorough diagnostic for cars and their problems.
They helped me and my wife get into are first car! It was a hassel free experience we told them what we wanted and what we wanted to pay and thats what we got . We will definitely be back to get a Rubicon in another year or so thanks morehart and murphy!
On Monday, May 2, 2016 I called your dealership to request a Recall repair (airbag) on my Dodge 2006 2500 truck and air conditioner repair. I spoke to Pat who scheduled me for Thursday, May 5, 2006, at 9 am.I also informed Pat that I would be waiting as this is our only vehicle. I was very surprised when I arrived at 0850 am that I was not on the schedule and the service representative said they would fit me in(invoice#388511). After 2 hours of waiting, at 11am, my truck was finally taken into the garage. I found out at 1200 noon that they did not know what the problem was and they were going to lunch. It was not until 1:50 PM that I finally found out that the problem with the air conditioner was a bad compressor. This would not have been so bad had they written down my appointment and kept it.At 3:50 I was presented with the bill and in the end I was there for 7 hours due someones failure to write down my appointment. On a good note Arron Reinland, service advisor, was extremely apologetic and did what he was authorized to do.It is with a sad feeling that I have to write a bad review as I have had good work done at your dealership. Overall I am extremely disappointed that I had to sit at your dealership for seven (7) long hours.James Hughes
Needed a re-call notice completed and hopefully an oil change at the same time which they were able to complete even though very busy! High marks for professional service
Great deals on new trucks....go see Herman
Horrible service department that has lied to me on multiple occasions. I would not thrust these guys! And for the record will be driving out of town to by my next jeep. Still love jeep
Go see Paeton Potts at Moreheart Murphey! He is such a nice person, friendly, honest, and I didn’t even feel like I was dealing with a salesman, just buying a car from a friend. Best car buying experience I’ve ever had! Would definitely recommend him! Anyone in the market for a new vehicle go to Moreheart Murphey in Durango and ask for Paeton!...And I am soooo in love with my Jeep 💗
Everytime I go in there I am reminded as to why I will never buy a car from them. Sadly they are the only dodge dealer in town so if I have a question I would like answered I go there. It would be nice if they actually answered the question without attitude. Just go to Advantage Dodge
Made an appointment and my jeep for in right on time. Service rep was friendly and efficient. Work done was timely and thorough.
Called to schedule service and got a recording to leave a message and they will return your call. It has been over a week and no call from them. Will go else where where the service is better.
They have always been a good place to deal with. I have bought from them, had repairs done there, ordered parts and even had recalls done which is why I was there today.
I bought a brand new 2017 Subaru Outback. I feel SO SICK in it, especially with the AC on. I hate the car. Also this dealership is not accommodating to people with special needs. Worst dealership EVER. They took 6 weeks to send out my title and no one told me it would not go to my address, instead it is being held at the post office. I truly hate this dealership. Nothing but major problems and hassles. DONT BUY A CAR FROM HERE.
We had a great experience with morehart murphy!! Great customer service and a great deal on our new vehicle!! Thank you!!
I am a tourist from LA and yesterday the Sun Roof on my Jeep stuck open. I couldnt get to the dealership until 4:30. Service Manager Aaron Rheinland went above and beyond the call of duty to work me in and find a tech that could close it at that late hour. I am very grateful because it rained all night last night. I didnt get the name of the tech but I would like to thank him too. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Durango is fortunate to have such a dealership !!
From 2:00PM to 5:00PM, my husband and I waited to get our vehicle appraised (45 mins to an hour!!!!We thought we were getting fast service, NOT!!! 🤢), WE WERE DEMANDED A CHECK without any discussed plans infront of us 😡. We were given the run around (from Subaru to Jeep, when we wanted a vehicle from Jeep/Dodge)🤮.. And at the end of the 3 hr wait, we were finally given the Appraisal Amount of our vehicle😡🤬.. WE GOT LOW BALLED FOR OUR VEHICLE (WAY BELOW WHAT THE VEHICLE IS WORTH).. Thank you CHEE for wasting our time and the Non-Negotiating/Unreasonable Manager... WE DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU ENDURE THIS EXPERIENCE.. *****AND WHAT WAS FUNNY, WAS THAT THERE WAS NOT MUCH CUSTOMERS AROUND*****
I would like to take this opportunity to thank a very important person at Morehart Murphy in Durango, his name is Garrett Stankewitz, CDJR Parts Manager. He helped me solve my problem with my diesel Dodge truck without making me feel like I should hire someone to do the job, he was kind, very knowledgeable and someone I want to do business with in the future. Thank you Garrett, it worked! Kathy
Went here to flash my TIPM on my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500, they didn’t know what they were doing or talking about. Ended up taking 4 hours to refill my airbag. And TIPM wasn’t flashed. Therefore my lights, gauges, windshield wipers still did not work.
This is kind of a long review......in a nutshell, Janet (Service Manager) is awesome and and obviously knows the value of providing excellent customer service!!! We are from the SLC, Utah area and we were on a great camping trip at Mesa Verde NP until we woke up one morning to a flat battery in my 2017 Subaru Outback Limited. We got a jump, but then the rear hatch wouldn’t close properly and was beeping all day even though it was closed (and we could not get it open to access our gear) the control panel was eliminated all the next night saying rear hatch open, so the battery went flat again. After trying everything in the manual to no avail we headed to the closest dealer in Durango. Janet, the Service Manager greeted us right away and although we could see she was very busy on this Friday, she immediately told us she would get us in and take a look. We went out to the car to get some things and the hatch opened right up, most likely the long drive had properly charged the battery, but we were not happy and Janet insisted on running diagnostics to make sure we didn’t have any more problems. She arranged for a shuttle into town and we did some sightseeing for few hours until the car was ready. Bottom line it was kind of a mystery as to what happened and I am very unhappy with Subaru in what appears to be poor engineering design for auto rear hatch issues, but Janet provided some of the best customer service ever, especially in this day and age!! Thank you Janet and the staff at Morehart Murphy Subaru for helping us salvage our trip! Mesa Verde is awesome!
Great staff, inside and in the shop. Have all my service needs taken care of here.
I travel the US full-time and have had my truck serviced with many different dealers around the country, as such I’ve come to develop quite low expectations when I visit a new dealer service department. I just wanted to share that my experience with Morehart Murphy in Durango was by far the best I’ve ever had. The service advisor and technician went well above and beyond my expectations, making their best effort and even staying late to help restore my custom programming after having flashed the computer for recall work, this was not their responsibility but it was very much appreciated. Also, the front driveshaft of the RAM 2500 has a grease fitting buried deep inside a double cardan joint, it’s hard to get to and most dealers do not even know about it, I always ask them to lube it and they usually tell me it doesn’t exist, they can’t, or they have repeatedly lied and told me they did when it’s clearly still buried in dirt, in this case the tech had a problem getting grease into the fitting because it was dirty and corroded so he specifically took me back and showed me the problem when he could have easily just told me it was done and I would have believed him because it was cleaned and covered in grease. Just wanted to share my experience and say thanks for the great service.
Very friendly and helpful. We have not finished our business with them yet, so ongoing.
Poor customer service from the repair service center on warranty issues. I bought a chevy from out of state this past December in Laramie, Wyoming and had it serviced here recently. When I received the bill, they had charged me for the trimming of the lights. When I questioned them on the charge they told me that because I had purchased it in Wyoming that this fix would not be covered under warranty here. I called the Laramie dealership and asked them if this was true. They assured me it was not and that the adjusting of the headlights would certainly be under warranty. They then contacted the service center to see if they could have this issue resolved. When the Laramie dealership called me back they told me to email me the receipt and they would reimburse me the charge and that you should never return to that service center. They are unethical. This is not the the first poor customer service I have had with the service center here. I have asked three different things to be fixed on three of my cars that are under warranty and none of the problems were fixed. Now considering traveling to Cortez or Farmington to make sure my warranty issues are taken care of. Not surprised others have had poor customer care here.
Great place to buy from..I always feel that I will get a great deal here.
I somewhat recently went to their Dodge service center and was pleased with their timely, thorough service. Hard for others to compete, they are a force in town!
Great experience purchasing a new Subaru. Sales, F & I, and delivery were friendly, helpful, and efficient.
Best car buying experience Ive ever had!
Amazing service, Sean Oneil was amazing
Well went today to meet and look at a vehicle. Sat there 30 minutes vehicle never showed up. The sales men went inside to wait left me outside to sit and wait alone.
Great service. They have a lot of inventory for a small town.
I bought a Jeep from Durango Motors recently with less than 13K miles on it, and after having it for 2 weeks, the check engine light came on several times. I called Morehart, and they told me that the soonest someone could see me was October 3rd. (About 3 weeks from when I called) After I made the appointment the light came on again, but did not turn off. I called Durango Motors, and they explained that they would just take the vehicle to Morehart anyway, so it may be quicker to take it to them myself. No problem. When I went to Morehart, (10/22) a gentleman in the service depart quickly explained to me that the soonest they could look at my Jeep was 10/17. I told him that I already had an appointment for the 3rd, but I did not feel comfortable waiting that long on a vehicle still under warranty that I depend on for transportation. Next, he explained that if I would have bought the Jeep from them, they would have given me a rental and taken care of the problem. He then said that it was not his problem regarding the warranty/loaner, and that I should go back to Durango Motors. I did just that, and they took care of me by sending the Jeep to Cortez that day. They also gave me another Jeep to drive in the meantime. I have one question: If Morehart is a Jeep dealer, then should they stand up to the factory warranty regardless of where the truck was bought? I will also be asking Jeep this question directly. Lets see what they think...To be continued.
Great price and great value and great people
Sad when a company that sells a brand of car refuses to work on it after is over 10 years old. Its just embarrassing for the company. Way to go - way to support the very vehicle you rep.
Bought here and serviced here... Both experiences were greay
I recently purchased my 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX from Morehart Murphy and would like to thank them, especially my salesman John Sweeny for making the easiest auto purchase I have ever done. He made the experience very professional without the common run around, high pressure and trickery usually found at big city dealerships. He knew the product and we sat down ordered the car I wanted at a very reasonable price. The finance department made the whole transaction painless and quick. I would highly recommend this dealership and John Sweeny for anyone in the market for a new or used car. A very professional business!
Brought my truck in for service. They were thorough and the rates were as expected, no surprises.
I thought it was a different dealership than what it really is, they sure had me fooled.I bought a brand new 2012 dodge 3500 dually short bed mega cab Laramie. I paid around 65,000 for the truck when I was sold the truck I was told that there was a 36,000 bumper to bumper warrantee, so when paying this much for a truck with 6 miles on it, you would think the tires would last at least 30,000 highway miles but they dont at least one did not. for my first service with a dodge dealership I told them that it was pulling to the right a little, they said it was fine so the second service appt. I told them the same thing they said it was fine so on as it went with every service app. well it was not fine. I am being told that I am responsible for the lost tire because, people choose not to type the correct terms or what was said into there computer system.so these are my questions for you Mr. Morehart who is very rude & did not help at all.Why is it that when I pay that kind of money for a vehicle you are not willing to stand behind your warrantee? Why is that when I pay that kind of money for a truck you tell me that that does not matter to you ? well it matters to your customers & me.Why are you a business owner if your not willing to help your customers & why are you so rude ?Why does it not matter to you that you have lost with me & my entire family as customers when with what I have spent & my referrals to your business, you have made over 250,000 in sales ?Please think twice before buying a car at Morehart !!! please consult other dealers in Durango that have a reputation for standing behind there warrentees.
NOTE: they( Subaru) moved east of Durango, next to the mercury hospital On February 24th Friday had my Subaru white sedan WRX the only complaint that I have (was Interior smoke from the test driver the mechanic made)And interior smells like Cigarette smoke.
Great service. 20 minutes and they had my remote programmed.
Great service ...Although one of my issues was not really found Annette was great and still have the rattling!
A great group of people to work with!
Their service is parked the work is excellent
Average dealership only out to get your money, slow service
Just a warning if you bring a truck in with a lift kit Morehart will work on it, but will not warranty the work more than once if they dont get it right the second time.tough lesson.
This place is a joke. Iv been trying to get ahold of someone for 2 weeks. Ill take my business somewhere else. And the lady who answers the phone is by far very rude
Seems like a good Dodge dealership
Excellent service
Very friendly.
Good service
Whats this about lol
Great service!!!
Place a patron and beautiful
