Durango staff are amazing, always friendly and helpful. I am in frequently and due to work its usually right before close and even tho Im sure theyre ready to go home they always take care of me with a smile and they never rush me. Appreciate you guys and girls. Its also a bonus that they play good music.

I very much appreciate those who work, and are open on Sundays! I was headed into town when my alternator gave out. I had just removed all the tools from my truck to make space or other stuff. Not only did they have the part, but they loaned me the tools to swap the alternator out and got me back on the road.

One of the struts on the rear hatch of my 4runner failed. I was in from out of town, and solo. I already had the replacement part. Came by autozone to see if I could buy something or pay them to come out and hold open the hatch so I could replace the strut. They were super courteous and said it was no problem - they were happy to just help. Great customer service, professional, polite, and seemed genuinely happy to help me out. Great AutoZone location.

I had ordered an oil cap last week and I ordered the wrong size. Went back in and they exchanged it for me and the blonde cashier helped me to make sure it was the right size. Best customer service!

Super scattered customer service; got sold a box of fuses I didn’t need by an employee that got distracted by another customer while he was helping me. Very frustrating to be sitting there for ten minutes wondering if he was ever going to come back. Walked in just to find out if my taillights were working or not...thirty minutes later, I still don’t know. His heart was in the right place, but please...don’t leave a customer sitting there, waiting, waiting, waiting...wondering. I realize the other guy may have had a more interesting problem with his vehicle, but dang...finish what you started, bro.Edited after business’ response: I understand working retail is hard; dealing with people’s emotions is not easy. I tried to erase this review but I guess its not possible to do so at this point. I appreciate the help you did give me, and I do hate dealing with truck issues.

Updated to 4 stars - I mean for an AutoZone. Its not like this is where I want to come and hangout, but the store was clean and the staff were very nice and helpful.

It was a Sunday night and we were leaving Durango co to go to Idaho. We had noticed a tail/brake light out and hustled to get to AutoZone. It was 9;57 and we had called telling Ben K. That we were a few minutes away and we really needed that bulb. His reply was I sure hope you make it by 9:00. We arrived and knocked on the locked door at 9:02. He came to the door and told us he had already started processing his drawer and could not ring up any purchases... He knew we were coming and how important this bulb was. Dont know whats going on in this young mans life so really shouldnt judge. I just hope his mom is never in the same situation. Had to wait until the next day to travel. My fault for not keeping a spare. Usually do but,,,,. What happened to customer service?

Was having an issue with my 2012 Subaru outback, engine light was on and a couple others were flashing. They took a reading of the engine code, and we found the issue to be a light bulb that was out. They found the correct light bulb the whole thing took probably about 10 minutes. Had a great time, the representative was fantastic to work with.

I have replaced car headlight bulbs, key fob batteries, and car battery here. By far, most helpful and friendly place in town.

Standing in line and watched some hateful female employee with her mask below her nose scream at a customer across the store for not having a mask on. The customer calmly explained that the have asthma and cant wear a mask and she yelled that the customer needed to go outside and do curbside service. The customer replied they would just go to a different autoparts store. I will as well. #1 dont ever raise your voice at customers, #2 actually provide customer service, #3 dont descriminate and treat people with medical conditions poorly. Appalling behavior.

Came in for washer fluid. Was asked if I need help finding anything. She told me about the special. Purchased it. The staff was friendly and wore masks.

ORileys auto parts, has horrible customer service compared to autozone. we left ORileys because we were waiting for 20 minutes to buy a product. We got to autozone and as soon as we opened the door we were greeted and helped! Amazing service! Thank you!

Wanted to charge me 5x the price for the part

After driving back from the mountains my voltage light came on and then all of my lights and electrical started shutting down. I was able to coast into this Autozone. The Staff were very friendly. Trevor helped me find the correct alternator and let me borrow some hand tools. Cordell the manager even jumpstarted my ride with his personal truck to help me out. You guys rock.

Great Service... Traveling thru Durango CO, we needed a sensor check for our truck. Autozones rep customer service Jim was over and beyond. He helped us with his recommendations, used his analyzer, and then reset with another tool. That dreaded dash light went off. Excellent store employee.

We came in to have our alternator checked. Sam was able to quickly tell us it was on its way out. He helped us out with loaner tools, his expertise, and advice on the correct replacement part. With a bit of guidance we were able to fix it ourselves. Everything works great now. Thanks Sam!

They saved us!!We were traveling from Albuquerque, NM and our battery died after strolling down Main Ave. We arrived to this AutoZone 10 minutes because closing time and they ran tests on our battery. We ended up needing a new one and they installed it quickly and efficiently. Sam in particular was very patient, kind, and understanding.Thank you for being so great!

Im not normally a person to do reviews but I had a great experience at this Auto Zone. Went here to get new windshield wipers (front and rear) and had a little trouble finding the exact ones I needed, mainly for rear. Didnt catch the employees name (male with long red hair) but he helped me build a custom rear wiper blade since none in the store fit onto my car. Will definitely be back after this great customer service.

Usually these guys give excellent service but last time I went in was awful. I couldnt get help finding what I needed. A employee even told me to come back with someone more knowledgeable on car parts. I already knew exactly what I needed and thats the real disappointing part. Luckily another store in town was able to talk to me and help me.

This Auto Zone has been the most helpful! After hours and hours of searching, we finally found what we were searching for... the letter Z in our alphabet game for our road trip. It was the ending of one chapter and then beginning of another. Thanks for everything! You saved our marriage!

This place has a great selection of accessories and a reasonable price on parts. Admittedly I would recommend driving down the road a little bit to OReillys Auto Parts for part selection. Staff here is friendly but nut the best prepared to assist you. Also dont count on them being able to look up past receipts on there computer as this company is very bad about entering accurate info at time of sale.

I will take my business to Ace Hardware instead, where I KNOW their staff can give me the time of day without terrible service. First and last time I will ever come here.

I was an avid autozone customer for years but this store here has Absolutely abhorrent customer service. Ive put up with it for years (its been a problem since Ive lived here) because napa is expensive and oReillys wasnt convenient but Ill gladly go out of my way to ensure ANYONE else gets my business. I called to ask if they had rotors for my vehicle and the guy rudely said hed have to call me back. I said by the time he called me back I could go to a competitor and his exact words were yea you probably could. Busy or not thats no way to treat someone whos spent thousands there. This store constantly seems short staffed and it appears everytime I went in there was new people (not surprised if their staff is treated the same way the customers are). How this place has a 4 star rating is beyond me. My guess is most folks are so irritated they just leave and never bother thinking of them again. Dont be fooled, youre better off spending your money somewhere youll be valued.

If your not in a hurry...its ok...but the store is organized but the sales staff have no sense of organization. When waiting on line they take the customer that is not even on line to service. People got aggravated or just plan left the store.

Had chains for my car

I wish to tell of an excellent experience and thank an Auto Zone employee at this store, John McKay. He took the time to help, and saved me a larger expense and hardship. I was in Durango for other business at a nearby location when, at the end of the business day, my car would not start. I was dealing with a struggle of what to do, who to call; should the car by towed and, if so, where; would I need to spend the night in Durango, etc. Then helpers at the scene noticed a broken radiator hose and knew of this nearby Auto Zone. We went there to buy parts. At the Auto Zone John was just getting off work and offered to come help, bringing the correct tools and his expertise. After he installed the hose and replaced the radiator fluid the car started and ran OK! I was able to drive home - more than an hour away. Thank you, John!! Thanks also to Doyne, who came to help and recommended Auto Zone and trying a repair, and thanks also to Kai at Mac Ranch who first spotted the broken hose. Good people all. And last, but not least, thanks to God for the providential help.

Broke down in Durango a year and a half ago with a bad alternator an hour before close of business on a Sunday with the family in the truckster coming back from California. They confirmed the issue in the lot, got me the alternator then after the store closed an employee came out with the tools I did not have on hand to finish it up and got me going again. I am not saying you should expect this level of service and help from any store closing on a Sunday night by any means but it made enough of an impression on me that I am still thankful after so much time has passed. I do go out of my way to frequent this business when I have a choice.
