Best experience Ive had with a mechanic in a long while. The new owner, Danny, is fantastic. Honest, upfront, and high quality. He also found time to squeeze in my truck and got it done ahead of schedule. The work quality was A+. Ill definitely be coming back.

Engine gave me trouble on my way over red mount pass so my wife and i turned around and stopped here. Turns out my engine was shot...just paid 5k for the car 2 months ago so it was a major bummer. The employee was very friendly and broke the bad news to me and seemed genuinely to care about my bad situation. The owner was also super friendly and helpful. They put some oil in my car and didnt even charge me for their time or the oil. If i ever have car work that needs done I will 100% be bringing my vehicle to these guys.

While on an extended trip, after reading reviews brought my Jeep in for regular service, oil change, tire rotation...There was an issue removing the oil drain plug, Auto Pro handled it in stride and gave the whole vehicle a through inspection, left feeling secure my Jeep was in good condition and treated as a valued customer.

Took my ‘86 Jeep Cherokee in with some significant running issues. Logan was extremely thorough in both assessment and communication. Best experience I have had with clear and open communication with a mechanic. From diagnosis to quote to follow through, this place was generous and helpful. TRUE service.They replaced the carburetor, did a great job tuning (and then retuning), and when I left town at the end of the summer the car was reliable and a joy to drive again! These guys were amazing! We found coolant was leaking into the passenger seat foot well from a broken heater core and called them up with 20min notice. Morgan told us to come through to them and they quickly diagnosed the problem. They were able to fix it in about 3 hours and had us on our way so much quicker than we had anticipated. Logan and Morgan were both super friendly, helpful, and the repairs were more affordable than we thought it would be. We would highly recommend these guys, they do their best not to charge for things that dont need to be done either. Thanks so much guys!

I cant recommend Auto Pro enough. I wish there were six stars. Working with Logan and Morgan is easy and confidence building. I dont know a lot about certain things when it comes to vehicles and I dont have a ton of money to spend. Auto Pro was patient, informative, knowledgeable and skilled at what they do. They say what they do, and do what they say. That is a gem in my book.

Best people, best service. While towing a camper Indiana>Alaska, unexpected mechanical issues popped up just outside Durango. They fit me in with no notice (didnt have cell service til we hit town!), took my car (and attached camper!) for a test drive, identified the problem, and wouldnt even let me pay them for their time and assistance. The whole process took 20 minutes and didnt even delay our trip. Last, but not least, I felt safe and respected as a female (which, we all know, is never the case). A+, 10/10 would recommend!

So we were traveling through Durango CO looking to camp overnight and then continue our journey back to AZ. We overshot our RV park and I had to turn around. Google Maps sent us down this infamous road. Unbeknownst to us we turned and got stuck. We called AAA. Thankfully this neighborhood not only has some of the sweetest people but my wife noticed an auto service shop next door. She stopped by and asked if they could help us out. Logan came out and had some good ideas but just didn’t quite have the right equipment to get us unstuck. He gave us some good advice while we waited for AAA to show up. Then the next door neighbor came out with his kiddo and offered up his house to hang out and play in the backyard. Thanks again Logan. If I’m ever in Durango and need an auto mechanic I will be calling you guys for sure!

The owners Logan and Morgan make this shop the best Ive ever dealt with. Logan has done many very different services on two very differently valued vehicles and every job has been top notch quality and speed, all for a fair price. From transmissions, to suspension, to custom grinding and welding. Morgan runs the shop well, is always easy to reach on the phone and great to deal with. Ill never go anywhere else in the four corners areas.

Always a great time here. The guy who owns (co-owns?) it is super honest, and will go out of his way to try and get what you need done. He even remembered me a year after my first service, and remembered the problem I had (that I still hadnt yet gotten fixed, but thats another story). Go here, call ahead, and chill in the coffee shop down the street while you wait for your car to be fixed.You can be honest here and they will be honest with you.

Could not recommend this enough. They are a family owned local auto shop that will take the time to make sure your problem is fixed and at the best cost. The prices are more than fair and the work is done extremely well and in a very timely manner. I experienced a loud clunking noise in the front end and they were very thorough in working together to properly inspect what was wrong (steering rack) and they had it properly diagnosed, parts shipped, and service completed within a week. I will definitely be back for any auto work needing to be done.

Logan in Deion Came out today to assist in cleanup after a water leak messed up the floors in one of my bedrooms. They are extremely friendly polite and knowledgeable about their jobs. They are very informative and efficient. I felt very comfortable with them being in my home and assisting me with what we all know is a nightmare. Thank you so much and I’m so glad that I chose you guys to come help me get this mess cleaned up. If you had 10 stars you would have gotten them all.

Absolutely amazing! Rolled in completely unannounced while on vacation in the area and Logan got us back on the road in no time and didnt take advantage of our plight! If I lived in the area this is where Id go.

Rolled in late Thursday with a/c not working, not a good thing in southern Colorado in July. Logan waved us in, popped the hood, diagnosed the problem, and said he could work it in first thing in the morning. We were out of there by 11:00am with the a/c blowing as cold as ever. The price was more than fair, he explained what he had done, and even helped us avoid a future problem by properly securing a couple of wires that were chafing through. If you ever need auto/truck work done in Durango, don’t go anywhere but Mountain Auto Care. Thanks for the great experience!

I feel that these guys not only have done the best work on my car but also been the most friendly and honest shop I have ever been to. Ive been going to them since last fall and have been to them 4 or 5 times and run by some questions here and there.I had a overheating issue the first time I went to them and it was hard to find the problem but in the morning there was a small coolant leak visible where I had been parked at the shop that I did not notice but they noticed and called me immediately to reinvestigate the problem. Which showed me that they pay close attention to detail and are honest people seeing as they could have just waited until the problem returned again in a week or so.

We were on vacation up here and the transmission went out on the way into town. Im so glad we landed at Auto Pro! They were all very professional, friendly, and concerned about getting us back on the road as quickly as possible. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs auto work in Durango.

What a blessing to find auto pro! My friend and I were on a road trip to the Grand Canyon when we heard an awful grinding noise coming from the wheel well. Luckily we were only half a mile from the auto pro and pulled in – they serviced us immediately found the cause of the problem – a pebble – and bailed us out! They were so friendly and we are beyond grateful. Five stars for auto pro!

I was in Durango driving through when my truck made a loud pop and started making a loud noise. I called for roadside assistance and they recommended Auto Pro. As soon as I told Logan what happened, he knew what had happened and told me what needed to be done.I have read about this online about my truck and knew exactly what Logan was talking about. I was happy leaving my truck there since Logan had suggested the best repair. He also gave me a realistic timeframe. This was great since I live 240 miles away!Logan called me on the day he said I could come pick it up.I picked it up the next day and it drove great. I had no concerns driving it all the way back to Albuquerque!I highly recommend Auto Pro as one of the best mechanics I have ever dealt with. Honest, fair and professional. Best mechanic in Durango and wish he was my regular mechanic.
