Incredibly rude customer service. I went the other day looking for soil, walked to the person behind the counter (who was sitting down on her phone) asked if she was working at the moment and she responded with a sarcastic nope I just hang out here and she wasnt even trying to be funny, just plain rude. I was pretty blown away by that, sure maybe I asked an obvious question, but the rude sarcasm really bummed me out. I love the nursery and want to support the local business but I dont think Id go back after that. Definitely not the first time Ive experienced horrible customer service there either.

All I know is, is John that owns and operates Native Roots, is awesome! Im a detailed person, a DIYer and have very detailed questions, and the guy takes time to walk me through everything I ask. Everyone else I have worked with their is the same! Just flat out awesome customer service! I dont even know what their prices are compared to others in town, because I havent even bothered to look!

Knowledgeable, pleasant, attentive, helpful staff. They seem to appreciate one’s business. Native Roots sells plants that are truly suited for this region. Don’t waste your time buying landscaping plants at big box stores!

Nice staff and like there fruit trees

Native Roots is an oasis of green and color with well cared for plants. Their plants have grown vigorously for me. Large specimens of Apache plume and other plants are there in demonstration gardens.

Have visited Native Roots several times, and nearly always find interesting plants to come home with. A yucca is doing great, papyrus are outgrowing their pond, and a once-tiny Norfolk pine has needed to be repotted twice in less than a year. Helpful and pleasant staff, reasonable prices. A nice place to visit for quality plants and supplies.

Love this place! They have a good selection of annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees. The staff is very friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about their products. They have hired several new people who seem to still be learning but theyre very adamant about getting you an answer to any questions you have. They have good deals on a lot of things, although some other things are a bit pricey-er than I think they should be. Overall, would recommend!

Not many selection of house plants, cost of plants are a bit too pricey comparing to Lowes, Wal-Mart, Home Depot and other plant nursery that Ive been to, it was a waste of time plus the guy didnt know the name of the house plant. I DO NOT recommend this place.

Worker either was unknowledgeable about many things or purposely misleading in an effort to try and make a sale. Whichever it was, definitely do not recommend coming here.
