Online training supplemented in person training to make for a great training session. The online portion was easy to use and I was able to take it at my own pace.Also Cindy was a great trainer.

As a company with roughly 400 employees, there have been issues from time to time - but what is important to us is how the issues are resolved. UniFirst Raleigh / Durham is a provider of uniforms to our plant inOxford, NC. The plant has a majority of employees that use this service. The rates are competitive and weekly cleaning costs to employees is very reasonable. UniFirst provides good weekly service to the plant and they resolve any issues that arise quickly. In addition to providing new uniform lockers for employees, they provide extras like company baseball hats. Unifirst does a great job servicing our company. I have said many times before that a uniform company is only as good as their route driver. Their route driver, John Luther, is very professional and takes care of our 280+ employees and knows most if not all by name, size etc.. Like most service companies, Unifirst has some issues. Where we were most impressed was how fast they fixed the issue. They were on the ball with everything and got our uniforms cleaned and returned to us without another problem. The route drivers make all the difference in the world.
This placed made it seem like it was a good job, they said it was hard cause its long hours but that was fine. What I didnt know before I worked there was that they hire already 15 people a month and they fire already 14 out of this 15. Please save yourself the hard ship and dont work for them.
Our company, Servpro of South Durham and Orange County, has used Unifirst for a while and love their excellent service. They go above and beyond to guarantee our employees uniforms look and fit perfectly. Their delivery service is dependable. James Wade is a wonderful asset to their team. He is personable and takes the time to get to know our employees and speaks with everyone in the office and warehouse that he encounters. Bad Service. Major disconnect between Departments. The sales rep goes around selling, guarantees service, and pricing, but doesnt know anyone in the company. This Rep may not even work there in a couple weeks when you try to reach out to discuss problems. The drivers are okay, but clueless when it comes to the account, my needs, and being capable of resolving issues. When we started service it took almost 6 months before I had everything I was supposed to have. Then the inconsistent service and problems with billing caused me to want to leave. The sales rep had told me I could leave and there was no term to the contract, but they decided they were going to claim lost on all my stuff that they came and picked up and charge me nearly $1000. Dont waste your time getting started with them. Dont believe their sales reps when upper management cares very little about how good your service will be. Why should I even have to talk to upper management to get my issues resolved?

We have been using UniFirst for 2 years now and have had no complaints. Our driver Matt is excellent and takes care of all our needs as we add and drop employees or have uniform issues he is quick to resolve them.
UniFirst provides everything for us from uniforms to paper products to cleaning products. They are fairly priced, and the staff is responsive and service oriented- from our account exec Sophia Hanson to our route driver Dexter to our CSR Barbara Hoskins. If youre looking for quality products, great service, and a fair price, youve come to the right place.

This place has horrible service. Why? Because they hire people to drive there routes, they train them for two weeks then they through into a route half ready, or they just fire them. After the route man struggles upper service managers get calls about how horrible the service is, the company then fires the route man. Which is okay, seeing how the guy that just got fired now has no job and had no way to support his family. This is not the place to work at nor is it the place to do business with, they also scout the internet for people that talk about this stuff and try to get in contact with them and argue with them. They dont care about there employees and they dont care about there customers. So please dont waste your time and your money trying to work for them, or to do business with them.

Worst fitting uniforms I’ve ever had
Nearly run over by a Unifirst driver while attempting to pay for gas. This encounter occurred at approximately 2:25 pm on June 30, 2017 at the Shell gas station located at the intersection of Blue Ridge and Beryl Road.
The people at this place can be rude.
