I had been looking for someone to create an area where I could place my fire pit. Several people came to the house but none gave me the feeling that they really knew what they were doing or could even provide ideas. Then I met Mr. Nazo! He helped us think of ideas for a patio close to my deck. I went to look at materials and found tons of options to choose from. When he came to the house he helped me find the perfect placement for the patio, shifting it so it would flow better with the yard and feel like it was supposed to be there. He also helped us find the best material for our project, saving us money in the process. I thought we would have to wait weeks or even months for the project to get started. He started it a few days later and finished within a week! His crew was professional and nice. They did a beautiful job leveling out our yard for the perfect patio! We loved it so much that before it was done we went back and got plants added to project. Mr Nazo took us around his expansive nursery to look for plants. There were SO many to choose from!!! He was so patient with us since we werent sure exactly what we wanted or what would thrive in the area we were looking at. He knew off the top of his head everything about every plant in the place!!! I got some black much and loved it the Dyed black mulch actually told me about hollow works and when I will have to come back and get more about a year and a 1/2 I was told. Just make sure you have some other pipe of payment than American Express they would prefer not to take American Express but they will allow you to pay with an American Express card but there will charge me 2% additional.

Two great experiences with Nazo Landscaping. Both times had the fortune of working with Mr. Nazo. He was patient with us as we picked out 3 new trees for our front yard and would work well in the NC climate. He walked around with us and helped us pick them out, educating us along the way. 6ish months later they are doing great.We stopped in again today (on a Sunday) for some landscaping rock to put a border around those same trees. He was easy to work with, immediately pulled out the pallet so we could load it (he offered to have it delivered, but we wanted to take care of it ourselves) and away we went. Mr. Nazo redesigned the planted areas of my front yard and side area. Plants were over 35 years old and needed to be replaced. Mr. Nazo set up the plan with his staff. He selected all of the plants and placed them. The red oak mulch looks great. I am very pleased with the work. The yard looks great!! After Philip Nazo (the owner) came out to our property for a landscape design consultation, we visited the Nazo familys extensive 16+ acre nursery. Philip personally took us on a tour of his impressive stock, and we were excited to purchase a variety of about 3 dozen shrubs and trees that fit perfectly into the landscape design Philip helped us develop. All plants were beautiful and healthy, and the price was excellent. They were delivered on time and in perfect condition, again by Philip himself. We felt like we had been given special treatment by a trusted friend! At the nursery our transaction was handled by Philips equally warm and responsive wife, Emma. We will surely come back to the Nazo family for all of our landscaping needs in the future (a wide variety of pavers on the premises caught our eye). Just discovered this gem! The most plants & varieties I have ever seen in one place (and its January!) They propagate and cultivate everything there, nothing shipped in, so I know it will grow in my yard. hands down, the best customer service too. They took their time and taught me so much too. I gave Nazos a 5 star review several years ago and have used them exclusively since for all Landscaping needs. They just this week completed another big project in my backyard, where a stone block retaining wall I built 6 years ago was falling over due to my lousy foundation skills. Two of Philips guys came out, dug up the entire wall and created a proper foundation for it, replacing the entire structure without any damaged blocks, or harming the sculptures and large plantings in their way. The job came out way better than I expected and way better than my original work.

We just purchased Green Giant arbs. and just want to share what an amazing value our purchase was. Stopped at 5 outlets throughout the state looking for the largest and healthiest looking specimens for the money. I can say that we purchased for $140 what was $350 and up elsewhere, including wholesalers in the state. Mr. Nazo chose the most robust ones for us and gave detailed advice on planting. We also had them delivered and he must not make $ on delivery because it was half what other concerns charge. And although a few reviews say Mr. Nazo is direct, you can appreciate that with a huge business, small staff and wanting to give good value and service, he does not have much time to waste. But if you love plants, trees, shrubs and the growing process he would speak with you all day!

Yes it seems the owner is a little brusque at first but he is on top of everything He definitely knows his plants!!!We think of him as a hard working, knowledgeable man who loves what he does. He has an incredible work ethic.We looked the first time and returned and bought a tree and several plants. The prices we got were less than other places.He has a greenhouse with all different types of plants and they are all labeled including the sun, shade, and height. Once you chose what you want he brings you back to separate tents to chose (there are dozens)We are happy with our purchases and will definitely go there first for any future purchases!

We had a landscape consult with the owner Phillip to look at our sun and tree challenges as we wanted fruit trees. He came out and gave us solid options that let us have the trees we wanted but in the spaces they needed to thrive. We used their website to pick out our order, had good email communication, and set a date for installation. Can I give them 6 stars? This is a great family run business. They have the best trees/bushes anywhere. The fruit tress I purchased were 4 thick or more at the base and at least 10 tall. They were full of fruit too. The owner and his son took great care of me. Showed me all around the nursery and let me pick each tree and bush. The blueberry bushes were insane. Covered in blueberries and cheaper than you could get anywhere. I was also able to get everything delivered 35 miles away for a very small fee. I would recommend this place to everyone. I went back today and bought more blueberry bushes. I couldnt help myself.

I’m very happy with the job Nazo Landscaping has just completed on my property! They did some water proofing and grading soil around my house, and they correctly attached drainage pipes onto downspouts and buried the pipes. I’m so pleased with the outcome that I’m going to hire them to install deer fencing and some new shrubbery. Mr. Philip Nazo is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Phillip provided outstanding recommendations in assisting us with our project to refurbish an existing fescue lawn. He suggested that we consider using a premium compost to amend the existing soil prior to seeding and fertilization. The compost was a key component in the overall success of our new lawn. Twice now in the past week, I have been exposed to the aggressive, reckless driving of someone in this companys truck. They drive left of center, follow too closely, speed, pull out in front of people and cut them off, and honk at people unnecessarily. I dont know anything about their landscaping, but just for the simple fact of how they get to these jobs, I would never hire this company because they are endangering the publics safety.

I live right down the road from Nazo landscaping.Last year the storms turned my driveway into a creek bed.I order some crush and run from Nazo and they delivered it at time they told me they would. The son saw the drive and spent 30 minutes or so giving me some ideas on drainage. Then he spread the load as best he could for me.Have been back several times for stone, plants and trees.Everyone I have dealt with here is respectful and very helpful. The information that they are willing to give and the help is over the top.Ill always stop here first.

Philip Nazo is wonderful to work with. He will design and install a garden very reasonably. He grows his own stock and it is high quality. We couldnt find a nursery with higher quality than what Philip supplied. We are now in our second year of building our gardens and continue to use Phil. He is very knowledgeable about his stock and willing to share that knowledge. I recommend that everyone look at what Phil has before anything else. You will not be disappointed.

I was referred to Philip at Nazo Landscaping from a co-worker. I visited the nursery on a Saturday (about a month ago) and Philip was great in showing me different types of brushes/plants/trees based from what I told him I was trying to do. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful in educating me on the best places to plants certain things. I ended up purchasing 5 different brushes/plants from him. Only one since I planted them is not doing well. I will definitely go back and purchase from him again.

We love this place! We have had 30 yards of mulch delivered to our home and have purchased over 40 plants from them and couldn’t be happier! My husband reached out to Nazo and he immediately came out to the house to take a look at our front yard. Philip and his employees installed a french drain, multiple downspouts to pop-up drains, refreshed our gravel driveway, added soil to help with water draining, installed a drip irrigation for the 70 plus shrubs, trees and plants he supplied, along with mulch and river rock for our home. He drove us through the nursery and explained which trees and plants would be best for us (deer and drought resistant), then laid them out around the house prior to installing to help with visualization of the finished product. He and his crew worked diligently and responded to questions we had during the process. They completed all this work within 2 weeks even with weather delays and was reasonably priced. Philip is very knowledgeable, personable and because he grows his products, he is intimately familiar with the correct plant to use in the best location for sun, shade, growth rate or drainage. I am in the middle of landscaping my property and was referred to Nazo’s by some friends. I showed up one Saturday in July and was so kindly driven around the grounds and shown the vast selection of plants. I was blown away by the variety. I did not arrive with specific plants. I purchased a number of trees here in July 2017. We found healthy mature trees at very competitive prices. Mr Nazo was very helpful in showing us around his lot. Id recommend checking the plant list on their website, and coming with a list of trees you want to look at.

I was looking for wholesale prices for some plants to create a hedge fence. The owner was very helpful and patient. If youre looking for competitive prices on plants, its definitely worth checking out! It can be overwhelming with the selection and the large fields, but most of the plants can be found by the office area.

We had Nazo Landscaping provide a new cover of crusher run gravel to our driveway. Mr. Nazo came promptly to provide a reasonable estimate, and the work was done in the specified amount of time to our exact specifications. He also took care of some details, such as gate clearance, that we had not anticipated ourselves. One gorgeous weekend, my husband I got the bright idea to start an orchard in our backyard. As with many of our home improvement projects, we decided to skip the planning part and impulsively dive in by buying a bunch of trees.We arrived at Nazo (after missing a turn--you cant really get there by accident) and marveled at the size of the place. Philip was working by himself that day and asked us to wait by the office as he finished up helping another customer. About 20 minutes later, he was finally free to help us. I had heard that he is brusque--and he is, but I think our willingness to wait made him realize that we were serious and he was happy to drive us all over the property looking for the best trees for our budding orchard.He took us to the peaches, plums, persimmons, pomegranates, and other trees that dont start with p like figs, loquats, lemons, limes, and oranges, and helped us select the best species and specimens for our goals, yard, taste buds, and budget.The trees at Nazo are pricey, but youd be hard-pressed to find a selection that is as established or with as much fruit already on them for those prices.When were ready to add another row to our orchard, well definitely head to Nazo.(Also posted to Yelp)

I used a different contractor to have major earthscaping done in my yard; I was left with terribly drainage and water pooling issues. I called Nazo about installing a french-drain system. He quickly gave me an estimate and got the work done. I am now very happy with the results. In the process, I visited their plant nursery - it was very impressive.

I have been here many times to select many plants for my garden. I am always surprised to find new and unusual varieties of plants and shrubs. Good variety of plants and other landscape supplies like stone and mulch. Prices on most things are reasonable/cheaper than other nurseries. The only drawback is that some of the plants arent in the best of shape. I dont think every plant gets enough pruning, as some Ive bought are quite leggy.

Fast, friendly service. They did a great job with installing plants and addressing some drainage issues at my house. Would definitely recommend.

The wife and I showed up on a Sunday thinking they were open. That were not. The owner happened to be there and showed us around any way. He even opened different yards for us. We havent bought anything yet, but we will.
