This isn’t our norm but felt something needed to be said. We took our vehicle in April to have the heated seats fixed. They supposedly fixed it - when in actuality they did not. They had put the wrong part in. But in noticing the seats still didn’t work other problems started to arise. The air would cut off and the electric seat would move back and forth (while driving) windows wouldn’t roll up/down etc. we call tell them about it. We believe the other issues are related to them messing with the controls etc due to the fact they are all on the same network. They deny its related - obviously! We take vehicle back in. They figure out they put the wrong part in but still don’t look at the other issues. We get vehicle back while we wait on part to come in - weeks later. Finally get it back to them once part is in. Side note - Had to call corporate just to get a rental car to drive while we wait - because even when they sent us on our way while waiting on parts - the air didn’t work most of the time, the windows wouldn’t roll up or down. So if it rained and windows were down and it was during a time things weren’t working we couldn’t drive vehicle. Or if windows were up and it was blazing hot we couldn’t drive it due to heat! -so, once we get it back to them, they install it. Give us a bill/receipt for their labor on ALL the issues and send us on our way. 3 days after having vehicle back same thing - air, windows, seats etc issues are back. We call dealership and talk to a man - he says the other issues weren’t addressed because once they did the heated seat they couldn’t get the issues to emulate again, therefore they couldn’t move forward with repairs. NOT once was that discussed. Again we received a bill/receipt where they “fixed” those issues. Shows details of what was done. They have been rude, non accommodating without a fuss and now say they will not take our vehicle back since we didn’t buy it from them. Even though we paid our 2nd deductible for it to be fixed and it clearly wasn’t. The owner blatantly said - you bought it somewhere else, get it fixed somewhere else. The WORST customer service ever. They were getting paid to do the service whether we bought the vehicle from them or not. Thankfully we have a warranty on it but still out the deductibles. On top of this they broke the front panel to the controls/screen - they still haven’t replaced it because supposedly on back order. - let me add, we were advised to bring the rental back on a full tank of gas. Which we did - however, they ran 1/2 a tank of gas out of my vehicle to keep it running to see that the “issues” were supposedly fixed. I got my vehicle back on ZERO miles to empty. They didn’t offer to fill it back up. Sent me on my way and said I will need to get gas!Owner says we have jumped up and down wanting it fixed - it’s 1000 degrees outside - they have had since April - and we feel like he would want his vehicle repaired timely as well!!!We decided we will call BBB!

They had my car for almost a year . I had taken it to a mechanic before I took it to dodge . He told me what was wrong but that he couldn’t fix it, dodge would have to . So, they tell me it’s something else, even though I explained to them that I was told something else . I had to get the main dodge Corp involved because they didn’t wasn’t to fix it . One year later, it was exactly what the first mechanic said was wrong . This after an entire transmission was put in . Don yourself a favor, don’t go . Ps. The female manager was rude and not very professional.

Had my oil changed on my dodge pickup, they were told not to rotate the tires and after 2 hours in was told they stripped a lug nut after being told not to rotate . Then my wife took her flex in for oil change and after 2 hours they brought her the keys to the wrong vehicle. Said her tires were needed to be replaced, they are brand new tires come to find out they changed the oil in the wrong vehicle. Not going back third time might forget to put the oil in.

I just had my F150 serviced and Stephanie Gregory was very professional yet very sweet and down to earth! It was mid afternoon so there was no coffee in the pot. She asked if I would like some. I really did but I said no because I didnt want her to prepare a whole pot just for me. She sensed I really did want some so she fixed a pot of hot java! Thank you Stephanie for the coffee and the great service!

I had a very bad experience! I would give no stars if possible. The finance manager gave me my car with a approval and a month later called saying it wasn’t approved that I might have to bring the car back. Then a few days later calls and says it’s ok but the thing is he financed us threw a different company without me knowing. Then the paint started peeling about 3 months in so I traded it in, went back to dealership to get my gap insurance back filled all paperwork out with this same finance manager, he said about 3 weeks I will get it. I called last week he didn’t know anything today I called he said they can’t find any paperwork on it and it’s been 6 weeks so I have to start all over waiting on my gap check . Very unorganized and very rude. I would not purchase another vehicle from here. I will ride a bike first

I have had an issue with my dodge truck after a month since I bought it last December. I did purchase it brand new from another dealership but had relocated. I keep being told that I have water in my gas or just bad gas. I have 80 miles left on my 36,000 mile warranty and the only thing that has been done was to change out two fuel injectors. The engine light still comes on and off and now when the truck is in park and is idling, there is a very noticeable bounce after the fuel injectors were changed. When I took it back to them they told me that that must just be the way the new injectors run. I have also had the front wheels rubbing something. The first time they looked at that issue I was told the tire was rubbing a fender. There is still a rubbing noise and can be felt when turning but no one can seem to hear or feel it when they drive it. I did have my driver side mirror replaced and thus far no issues have been had. I feel like I keep getting the run around and that nothing is being solved. I do not want lip service or to be blamed for bad gas. I either bought a truck that is having issues that Tim Castellaw Ford isnt capable of fixing or I am getting the run around from a department that doesnt want to go the extra mile to help until my warranty is out and I have to pay out of pocket.

We were in a tight situation driving home to PA from AR. Our car was having problems Judy 3 hours from AR so we divided to look into a new vehicle and this was the dealership that had the best deal through my employee discount. Every person was incredibly nice. They allowed me to bring my dog in during the entire transaction, they broke everything down for us and got everything done as quickly as they could considering our circumstances. We got an excellent deal on a brand new jeep that was a 2016 model. We were very lucky to have found this dealership!

I recently bought a 2017 Hyundai Sonata from Tim Castellaw in Dyersburg, TN and I was having an issue in starting the car so I give Debra Mcneely a call since she was the one I talk with when I went to buy a car told her what was going on and she said they couldn’t do anything until I get someone to give me a boost and it was probably the battery because all car does that when it cold and I’m like not my ford fusion no problem and starting it cold weather or not but any way she said she would call me back we’ll a little while later I try calling her back and of course I get no answer so I decide to call their service department told them what kind of car I bought from them and he said they don’t even have the parts to fix my car and he hung up on me so I’m thinking who sells car that they don’t even fix on well I decided to give the hyundai dealership in Jackson,TN a call told them what was going on with my car they got me in today very friendly and professional I will be going to them from now on will never go back to Tim Castellaw in Dyersburg again

Dodge dealership in California was more helpful and had better customer service. Drove my 2016 journey back home after leaving the service. Was shocked that southern hospitality or even decent customer service does not exist inside this place. Service department will do everything they can to no do anything at all.Also dont expect any kind of warranty to be honored here.

Very friendly and helpful. They will pick you up and drop you off too if someone is available. I made an appointment. My issue was when I went back they didnt get all my services done like they said they would. I was told they needed an hour and they had an hour to do it. It wasnt completed. I understand there guys want to get done but you gotta stick to your word. Wanted me to come back but not sure if Ill have the time. Just wish I would have received what was agreed upon.

I do not trust them. The salesman told me that he was going to do a soft inquiry that would not show up on my credit report, and he did a hard inquiry without my permission. I was told that there is no way that the dealership and credit bureaus could take it off. Now I have this useless credit inquiry on my credit report.

They charged me to put a new brake caliper that was a $100 with an extended warranty. I moved and took my vehicle elsewhere, and I noticed my brake was slipping. The service manager at another ford dealership asked me who did my brakes, and he showed me where one was put backwards. My caliper was not broken, but the brake pads I paid for were installed incorrectly. I called Tim Castellaw’s service manager and he said “Why are you calling me I won’t pay for it.” Also, I paid for new lug nuts once due to their swelling. My friend who rebuilds car bodies part-time said this is a rip off. They told me that another time, and I said no. I had to pay over $200 to fix this mistake, and my other pads were in perfect condition so it was not wear.

Change in writing. Originally they tried to work with me on a vehicle however when that deal didnt go through I postpone getting a vehicle for a while. I went back to them to try to get something recently and they did little of anything to help and blatantly refused to try even get it down to my price. I went to another dealership enclosed on a vehicle that weekend. So very disappointed in Tim Castellaw Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Toyota and every other brand they carry

The most inept service department l have ever had to deal with. Bought a new jeep and its taken over a month and 4 trips to Dyersburg to have a trailer hitch installed and still have to go back again. Theyll sell you a new car but cant do anything else for you. Once I get the hitch installed I wont go back even for a oil change.

I have been working with Ford customer service and local dealerships trying to get my truck fixed. Ford F-150 platinum. The truck loses all power and gages go crazy. This morning the truck says low engine oil pressure when I let off the gas. Cookeville Ford could not fix it and Tim Castlelaw Ford says 2 weeks to fix. Question? If Ford is a premium brand, why is the service departments backed up 2 weeks with trucks needing repair. This truck is nickel and diming me to death. Furthermore, it appears Ford doesn’t care and the local dealerships have lost customer focus. I cannot drive a truck with low oil pressure for two weeks!!! Starting to understand why Toyota is the best.

I feel that it is important to let the general public know how much danger Tim Castellaw Auto Group put me and my girlfriend in the night of May 20th, 2016.I went into Tim Castellaws dealership to have a routine brake pad and rotor change. That night we were planned to go to Nashville to see some friends from out of town. 90 miles from home my front brake pads literally fell off my car going 70 mph down the interstate. Yes, that is correct...my front brake pads fell off the car! I had to turn my car around at 10 p.m. and limp my car back to Dyersburg at 45 mph on one of the busiest interstates in Tennessee.I feel like it is my obligation to inform those of you who will listen in order to keep other folks from being put in harms way by this business. I would hate for anyones family or friends to be put in this type of dangerous predicament and be faced with the level of danger we experienced from complete and utter negligence.- Jake Stendback
