Mario came out today to work on our GLA 250 front windshield. He called before heading to our house for the repair ( great to get a heads up) He timely arrived. Mario was extremely courteous and professional. He completed the job in less than 40 minutes and the car looks great. Upon completion of the job, he provided us with instructions for the use of the car for the next few days. We highly recommend Mario and Ideal Auto Glass.

Quick efficient and fair! Carl came out to me - and did a job no one else said they would do. My Tahoe has rust above the windshield and no one would touch it. He came out, cleaned up what he could and sent pictures with the process. Windshield was installed and all good. Never leaked. I had to put my truck down about a year after the windshield was replaced. Never had a problem! I’d go back for sure!

He treated my car as it was his.Update 7-17-2020 - Carl put a windshield in my second vehicle today which is a low mileage 3 year old Honda. Hey this guy does great work. Not a scratch or ding to be found on the car and installation is as good as when I bought the car new. He pays attention to detail and does great work.

Staff goes above and beyond! I spoke to Jake and he explained all of my options when I was trying to decide if I should fill the chip or replace the entire windshield. Jake was very helpful and knowledgeable and was able to get me in to replace my windshield the next day. The tech that came to do the job was extremely friendly and went above and beyond the service he was sent out there to do. I had bought new windshield wipers and he put them on for me as well as put back my oil change reminder sticker back on my windshield. I just brought my A3 in for a new windshield, non-insurance/cash job. I opted for on-site rather than the mobile service. He made quick work of it, all while cleaning up the mess created by a prior job done elsewhere. Good guy, comfortable couch in the waiting room, and wifi password was up on the wall. I want to preface my review first by saying I am very particular about my vehicles for both the care they receive when others touch them and the quality of the work done. Ive always been hesitant to get auto glass work done by anyone because Ive seen how the paint gets hacked around the windshield frame and then the next thing you know.......rust :(Well, this weekend my whole perception of the auto glass industry was changed when I had my first experience with Ideal auto glass. Masen came to my home on Saturday to install a new windshield on my Chevrolet Impala. He was the nicest, most courteous and professional individual Ive ever had the pleasure of doing business with for auto glass. My glass was removed perfectly clean without any scratches or contact with my paint like I often times see so many installers do. He had had the windshield out, the frame clean and the new glass installed in less than an hour. The way he works with his hands is both very precise and graceful. I have never seen an installer like him, ever.That being said, after all is said and done, I will never choose anyone again but Ideal auto glass. They have a customer for life.

Windshield was replaced years ago, different company, started dripping water. They took out windshield and resealed the window and had a spare windshield ready if needed, but was not. It was very nice not to have water in cup holder this morning !!! Great Job!!!

By far the best automotive glass company in Minnesota! I have used this company many times and have had friends and family use them as well with not one complaint ever. It doesn’t matter if it’s a $250,000 collector car or brand new off the lot the job will be done and done right!! Keep up the great work!

I was so distressed after someone smashed my passenger side window last night, but Carl made my day so much easier! He found a factory Toyota window for my 2004 rav 4 first thing this morning and installed it in less than an hour this afternoon. Super responsive and kind! Owner Carl- let me tell you about this guy: outstanding, trusting person to talk to and work with. He strives to get the job done and to get the job done correctly. At the time of our auto glass needs for a 15 volvo sc60, his help was out of town and he was a one man band- and he still answered the phone dispute of being busy with other customers and deal with our insurance company. He not only searched to get the correct heated glass for our car, but got the correct parts that were associated with a newish cars windshield, new to make sure the job was done correctly. It took a week plus a few days to get the glass fixed- but not because Carl was asleep at the wheel- it was because Carl was too busy fighting our insurance company and their crooked polices on the age of the car vs the coverage. This experience via Carl that we had with the insurance company has put us in a corner to review and think about moving on from State Farm. Carl was in constant communication with the wife (her car) on the updates and what he had to deal with.

Wow! I cant say enough about the customer service and how you can barely even see where the rock chip was anymore. I had my last one done by the other guys and it doesnt look nearly as good as what Ideal Auto Glass did for my windshield. And to top it all off they were even better price than the other guys. And they came right to my house to do the work. I would definitely suggest them to anyone.

We came up to St. Paul for a hospital stay, and a rock hit my windshield on the way up there. Being from out-of-state, I didnt know who to call that would come out and replace my windshield and do quality work for a fair price. After reading reviews for Ideal Auto Glass, I decided to give them a call. Let me just say, I couldnt be happier that I did! Carl and his associate did a top-notch job. Best deal....

They say they deal directly with the insurance company but they do not. They insisted that I pay them up front and file a claim myself with State Farm for reimbursement. That turned into a big hassle for me. Better to do business with a company that will actually file the claim directly.

My mom called Carl to fix my windshield, we had called multiple places and he came that same day to my apartment in Eagan. He fixed it in a very short period of time paying attention to detail, very professional, efficient & reasonable. Friendly service i would definetely recommend and use his service again if needed.

I had a tiny issue with the rear view mirror on the windshield that I thought would be a 1-2-3 fix. Spent an hour trying to figure it out, then took it to 5 different mechanics and collision repair places. No one could figure it out! It was a nightmare, but finally I was able to meet up with Ideal Auto Glass and they were able to fix it in less than 60 seconds! I couldn’t believe it.
