I have not shopped here since I started buying books on Amazon, but the physical location and their capabilities deserve some love. I needed this particular book for a important meeting and even Amazon was going to take two or three days to get it to me. Store staff was able to help me locate the book at a different store and have it held for me to pick up the same day. I actually had never been inside of a location that had a coffee shop in it, and I hung around a little longer. Very cozy environment and theyre obviously doing everything in their power to stay in business. I will definitely go back if only for the coffee and reading space.

The employees here seem to enjoy their time. The clearance items are usually rotated on a quarterly basis. Store is clean and enjoyable. The magazine rack is oddly huge. Do people subscribe/pick up many magazines lately? We will always stop when we are near by. Keep up the good work.

The employees are so knowledgeable about their store and know exactly where everything is! Also very clean and smells great in there!

I had to get William Kent Kruegers new book today. Love his writing!The reason I gave four stars is, because of the no competition clause a Mall had to sign to get Barnes and Noble in the Mall.So all the other small book stores had to close in the Mall. Then my daughter lost her job that she really enjoyed.This store had nothing to do with the Mall.

Really a professional and helpful staff and recommended some great books in area I enjoy reading. Cant complain about the cookies either, really good!

Very friendly staff especially Sarah and Erin they both are helpful assist what need to be finding. I hope these 2 staff will continue there best working service in the future. Will continue to shop at this location when possible this is one of the best location in the metropolitan.

I always find something good here. Especially fun to see all the Harry Potter toys and lego sets, oh and books of course!

Average B & N, nothing special. Employees are usually nice when I checkout. Looking for books and etc. is easy. Employees always want to help you when you’re looking around, ha. We went for lunch and were pleased with all the food choices. We each had a different but delicious lunch. Thought the food sizes and prices very appropriate. Our waitress was delightful.

A really nice bookstore. Well, your typical Barnes & Noble. Which of course means youll be paying for overpriced books. Yes, I guess the idea is that part of what youre paying for is the experience of a bookstore. Tons of options here. Also a small Starbucks cafe. Staff seem friendly enough and offer quick service. Convenient location too, near other shopping and food and malls.

I love book stores and this is the only one around since the Woodbury store closed. The staff was really nice and showed my son where the Goosebumps books were.

Nice to have a B&N nearby. They have a good selection of books but the cafe and seating needs better seating arrangement.

Selection is great and the staff is knowledgeable on good fiction and non-fiction, along with whats trending. Good selection of genres.Get the membership, it helps a lot with purchases. Im always getting emails and flyers to help save more money on top of the discount I get from having the membership.

Your typical Barns & Noble - but thats not a bad thing. Good book store with a built-in Starbucks. Discounts on new and bestsellers, clearance racks, kids section, and a selection of board games and collectibles.

This store seems a lot less busy and crowded than other B&N stores in the metro so we like to go here to browse, even in Covid times.

The place has a good atmosphere and has a variety of book genres. There is plenty of other stuff besides books too like Legos and board games and puzzles. The only negative thing I have to say is that the prices there are expensive. So, its best to buy the stuff you want that is in sale or has a discounted price.

I cannot believe how fantastic this store is and the funny part is I dont read books very much. First, I love browsing through their selection and looking at the cool stuff they got. Second, the cafe has fantastic options for Starbucks and baked goods. Finally, the staff are very caring and helpful. I would for sure stop by again!

We found some great childrens books for a first year birthday party super easily. They also had a selection of gift bags and tissue papers so we didnt have to go to another store to compete the gift. The staff was also super helpful.

I love a good book, especially a dwad tree edition. There is something satisfying in holding a book. The visit here was sad. I think my wife and I were the only people here except for the staff. If a place with this selection of books is empty, what is it going to be like in the small independent bookstores? Everyone should go buy a real book. Help keep this industry in business. And by the way, the staff here was friendly and helpful.

I usually come here when I am off work, and this place is nice. I mean, any Barnes and Noble is great! They really understand a reader, because they have comfy chairs by the window for those that want to cozy up to a nice book.

Wanted to purchase a particular book published nearly a decade ago. The information desk person noted that she didnt see it listed in inventory but took the the time to quickly doublecheck the shelves with the same result. I ordered the book through them and it arrived and I was promptly notified and picked it up as planned. The staff was polite and efficient each time I dealt with them. I would have rated this 5 stars but I wanted to be sure my experience was not an aberration. The courtesy shown by their staff and the orderliness will have me returning with a renewed interest in reading.

This has been my local bookstore almost my whole life, along with my local library and my school, and my house it has been a major location in my life. I found my favorite books here, my favorite board games and my favorite memories are all here. I have run into friends family and I can always count on having a pleasant experience going there. This bookstore will always have a special place in my heart because of that. Without this store my life would be entirely different and lacking of a place like it.

You can always expect to be hit up for the B&N discount. It costs $25 for a 10% discount.The store is comfortable - its nice that the arrangement of magazines is at the back of the store and the coffee shop isnt just against the wall. Comfortable chairs in front of the store make choosing a purchase and reading before purchase better than standing and reading ... ect..

They had exactly what I wanted, a new calendar and it was 1/2 price, even better.

Clean, helpful staff, it was very busy but with some help from staff, and quick check out lines(long but they moved) I got what I needed and was out of there. I will go back after holidays and meander around when I have more time

Spent a nice quiet 2 hours there this evening. Enjoyed a drink in the cafe and paged through a couple of magazines.

Pretty standard Barnes and Noble, but Im a big fan of the cafe. The staff are all very nice, and I go in enough that they know my name and usual order!

Dont even waste your money on the refresher. I got a venti of the Very Berry and 3/4 of the cup was ice. I asked the lady in the cafe about it and she said she was just following the recipe. I mean $ 4.55, for a little drink with lots of ice. Starbucks can do better than this.

The entire staff at the Eagan B&N is always friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to try and accommodate any request that I make or question that I ask. Truth be told, this is the same service I receive no matter which B&N location I visit.

Great selection of books, periodicals and cds. Super coffee shop, too. We quit buying our books online because its so much more fun to browse the selection at B&N.

Lots of options and very nice staff. My kids love looking at all the childrens books. Their toys are overpriced compared to other stores. But their books seem to be on par with everyone else.

Love this place. Very friendly and clean. Only thing i dont like is the amount of books for decorating, photography and the like is small. And they dont have any cds or movies. Lots of magazines though and a little shop with coffee, cookies and more.

This is now the closest Barnes and Noble to my house since the Apple Valley location closed. The staff are very helpful, and there are lots of great sitting areas. They also have a great coffee place with lots of treats.

Barnes and Noble in Eagan MN has the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff in the Twin Cities area. From reviews on books, to the cafe, I drive extra to go that one, even though I live closer to the Mall of America.

There are a great selection of books in a wide varity of generas. However, to give it only give it 4 stars because I could not find the book I was looking for. I could find the author, but not the book I was looking for.

Awesome Christmas gifts and a great place to meet for coffee. I still read books so I love this place.
