Khong assisted me in choosing the flooring for my kitchen. He was helpful and explained what would be best suited for the area. He was very professional and trusted his advise. The installer Gerard did an excellent job. He took the time to be sure every corner was perfect and still had it done in the time he estimated. I would highly recommend him for any job.I will definitely use them in the future.

The product was good, but I was dissatisfied with the install. Stairs should be done by experienced installers.Edit*** carpet King reached me by phone about the issues and were able to send out a different installer to resolve the problems. I was nervous that it may end up worse. It initially had waves. However, he was kind, acknowledged my issues, and spent time fixing it. Not one quick tack down, but actually fixed both sets of stairs. This is what excellent customer service is in my book. Not everyone would care or spend time to make it right. Kudos to you Carpet King.

I have purchased and installed new carpet twice in 5 years from Carpet King - Eagan. Chris was very helpful to find an in stock solution to meet my timeline. Mark was helpful to fit us into the schedule. The Sedona carpet is beautiful and matches with browns or greys, very versatile and even prettier than the sample. Installation was efficient, prompt and friendly. Thank you Carpet King.

Eric Weerts was fantastic! My mom hired them to do vinyl plank flooring in her kitchen and Eric made sure everything was handled and the price was good too.

Very poor experience. The in home estimator pointed out we would need a ramp leading to a tiled bathroom due to floor height. He said he would make it a part of the estimate. When I didn’t see it on the paperwork I called in advance of install to add it which they said they did (and charged me for). I noticed that ramps weren’t being used on the day of install and installer said he didn’t have them so I called the store. Had to reschedule and take another day off work to have them come fix it. 2 hours into the day of the corrected install I get a call saying they won’t have time to make it, so we pick another reinstall date. They don’t show up for that date so I call the store again. Mark states he’ll figure out what is happening but now won’t return calls or respond to email and the carpet is already separating. $4,000 carpet lasting 30 days and requiring way more time off then should be expected. They convince you to pay more than Home Depot for their service, but it’s worse. Please save yourselves.

Eric was amazing. He offered us wonderful affordable high quality flooring solutions for every room in our home. Completely professional, personable and honest. He really cared about of concerns and bent over backwards to ensure our satisfaction. I refer him to all our friends!!!

First the salesman said all of the carpet would be laid without a seam so we paid to move our piano. Then not only did the installers put in the wrong carpet, but they informed us that there was no reason to move the piano in the first place because the carpet would have a seam anyway. Moreover, the installers didn’t bring enough carpet to complete the job. Now we have the wrong carpet in 1/2 the places we’ve paid to have carpet, and in trying to get this resolved we’ve been in contact with absolutely the most irritatingly obtuse and incompetent customer service manager named Juliano. How this person has a job absolutely boggles the mind, and trying to get in contact with HIS boss has been an exercise in futility. I’m astonished this business exists and cannot wrap my head around how how there are any positive reviews.

The team at Carpet King continue to do a terrific job for us. Over the last 4 years we have been slowly replacing the flooring throughout our home and Carpet King has completed all the work. We rely on their knowledgeable sales team and their professional installation crews to make our house look great. Most importantly, regardless of the size of the job ( one room vs multiple rooms) they treated each one with the same level of expertise. Keep up the great work!

I thought that everything was really good with this Carpet king but it was not. it was a big mistake. I would not recommend anybody to go to this carpet king, the one thats in Burnsville with John and Eric there. It was a nightmare and I had the installer there till 9 oclock at night after not getting there until 630 when they were supposed to be there before 10:00 in the morning. Do Not Go

Great to work with! Came out right away, measured and got back to me with a quote the following day. We were in a hurry and as soon as we picked out our carpet they had installers lined up.Installation was good. Installers were professional. Im very pleased and glad we went with this company. Went to the one located in Eagan.

I was impressed with the people at Carpet King in Eagan. Reading the previous reviews, it seems that they must be under new management. Jim was very knowledgeable about carpets and made my decision easier. He came to measure THAT same day for a possible future order. The installation happening the day after the carpet arrived from the factory. The installer called in the morning to give me a rough time and called again when he was on the way. He was hard working, didnt leave a mess and the stairs look great. I plan on using these guys again soon for 2 bedrooms.

Should have listened to my instincts when first walking into the store. The staff, and the atmosphere, felt negative. We ignored our mistrust and forged ahead with an order and installation because we had a deadline. After upselling us on a special carpet padding, they used bait and switch techniques, and installed an inferior padding. On installation day, I saw the padding and told the installer that it wasn’t what we ordered. I contacted the store and was assured we had been given an upgrade. The next day I went to the store to check on the padding upgrade and learned I had been fed a lie. I contacted the corporate office and after much sparring received a $400 credit. I should have made them come out and redo the whole project (two bedrooms). I wish I had made them fix it. I wish I had insisted they do it right. Shifty, bait and switch techniques, I don’t know how they stay in business. I had no idea that they sell an inferior product until after my purchase. Carpet manufacturers make several grades of the same product, Carpet King sells the lowest grade. Oh, and their installer never asked to use our bathroom, simply used it, and left the seat up. Disgusting!!!

Amazing work atmosphere with positive energy!

If you enjoy Rude Customer Service, Inaccurate Samples and Sneaky Treatment, Carpet King is for you! I have never been more disgusted with the treatment weve received from a BUSINESS. Beware - They have been reported to the BBB.Just to be clear; ALL of the sales reps at this store where extremely helpful in attempting to help us correct what their company had sold us.. however they where very limited in what they could do and forced us to work through their corporate office.. whom told us they would rather go to court than refund us for their flawed product (which all of their sales reps agreed was their fault).Back story.. We came into Carpet King ordering tiles, they had a lovely looking tile which came from a reputable tile outlet. We worked with the lovely sales reps and ended settling on a tile. We received the product in a timely fashion, placed it in our house and awaited on using it as construction was still going on. Once finally done and ready to use; we had been delivered what looked to be a completely different tile compared to our original item we picked out, along with every 3rd tile in the box was of an incorrect color. We placed down the tiles which where correct and went to order more of the correct tile. Since Carpet King does all their ordering in batches they could no longer guarantee a color match as they strictly do commercial runs instead of homes (which was never mentioned to us in our sales pitch....) We brought the tile back and each of the sales reps agreed with us that they where at fault and that this was not the same tile at all. They then told us we needed to speak to the Carpet King Service Representative.The lovely service rep Juliano would not give us a full refund (we recently received a partial refund...), would not compensate us at all for the work already done (in placing the correct tile in our entry way) but would yell at us on the phone bringing my wife to tears (top quality customer service). Now we have to rip out all the tile we already have since it is apparently impossible to match it and start over. We have reported this to the BBB, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.Hopefully this review helps someone else and saves them from making the same mistake we did by placing our trust and hard earned money into this company. I will be posting updates if there are any further developments; at this point we have been out money.

Home Depot... All youll have to know is Home Depot! Lets just say youre trying to make a decision between Home Depot or Carpet King? Just always default to Home Depot.. I wish I was Doctor Emmit Brown and I had a dolorian because I would go back in time to when I was trying to make that decision. Home Depot or heck anywhere besides Carpet King..We did a a full remodel on our house and we were very interested in the core tech flooring, great product btw.. We also wanted to do carpetting in our house as well. Thats a whole other story but we can get to that if needed. We ordered a flooring job about 6 months ago and were still trying and waiting to get it finished. Think about this 3 associates, 2 managers and about $9,500 dollars later weve been waiting to get 3 things to make this a finished product... Why??? Why do you think this happened, well I wish I can say its because we didnt do a follow up because I know I have screen shots of us calling Carpet King about 30 plus time in the last 6 months trying to get this job done. Im actually still waiting for call back from a manager from when I called today its been 2 hours.. All I want is this job finished! I want the proper transition strips and I want to be able to close my laundry room door.. Dont get me wrong the product is great, if you are going to go with new flooring go with Core-tec... If you are going to get anything out of this review go anywhere but Carpet King.
