Wonderful, helpful service! I needed such a weird assortment of things, and Hank had them all, with hints on how best to work on everything.

I was there around 10:45 Thursday afternoon today this morning I mean and I had a old man there helping me out I needed a hookup for my toilet water supply to my shut off valve and he told me that I needed to has someone special make it for me and I didnt believe that so I kept looking and hes yelling at me that I insulted him because I asked for someone else the new what they were talking about and then he wouldnt stop following me around and yelling at me so I would never go there again Ive been at this place a million times bad customer service big time dont go over there its a joke

Well stocked with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. For me, going there is a social event. Much better than the big store across the street.

I was headed out of town this past Friday afternoon on a camping trip. I had an issue with my trailer. The ball was loose. I had to pull off and get it tightened. I swung into Hardware Hank and asked to buy a wrench but I needed to know what size. After I told the sales man the story, he just grabbed 2 wrenches and tightened the ball for me and I was on my way. Great service. Thank you.

On the phone holding for service twice today for 20 minutes. Theysupposedly fixed my three-year-old Toro 4 wheel drive mower last November and when we got it out this year the drive still didnt work after winter storage.

Good shopping experience. Eagan Hardware Hank is helpful - much better than Home Depot. Positive run business.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Do not shop here. The machine shop at Hardware Hank is horrible. Frank and Kevin scrapped our WORKING John Deere snow blower without our permission. When we called to come pick it up, they let me know they couldnt find it and to call back the next day. When we called to say we were on our way they let us know they had scrapped it. They tried to tell us that we gave them permission (We had asked them to keep it, do not touch it). They did not offer a solution, did not apologize. They were able to get it back from the scrapper (lucky them). They then called us to demand we pick it up less than 24 hours after getting is back, even though we had clearly noted what day we would be coming to get it on the original phone call; they again tried to say we told them something different. We ended up changing our schedule to get it; picked it up and saw they had taken all the gas from it; then had the audacity to claim you dropped it off without gas (which we had a full tank of premium in it when we dropped it off.) We havent been able to test it yet to see if it still works, which we wanted to do at the pickup because I have a huge lack of trust with their services. They dont listen, they try to put words in your mouth, dont take responsibility and apparently dont know what customer service is. Avoid this store at all costs.

Good people to work with. More variety than places like Home Depot and Lowes. The employees understand the products they sell and how they are used. If you really need to save 3 cents on a package of screws go to Home Depot. If you need to fix something right go to Hardware Hank. And, if you need to fix something you bought at Home Depot, definitely take it to Hardware Hank.

All the staff members I interacted were very helpful. They helped recommend the right auger to use for my fence project.

This is a great option for short hardware trips. The staff are knowledgeable about where stuff is and about how to do things, neither of which can be said about a certain big box store. I have found them to be helpful without being condescending. Aside from the benefits of good service and supporting local businesses, you can get in and out in a quarter of the time.

Many times the guys in service Dave and Gordy(now retired) helped service either my chainsaws, lawnmowers, ice augers and snow blowers. They do great work at very reasonable prices. I have purchased many tools there as well. Going to Canada with a rental big 4x4, I needed the right trailer hitch, boom they have it, certain wiring I needed to complete the job, bingo they knew inside and out what I was talking about. Even the neighbors talk with me about how knowledgeable Dave is in service and helpful telling us how to tend: to our tools to make them last and run well. Owner is a great guy too. I wont go anywhere else and either will my neighbors. Geez just fun to stop in and say hello. Eagan Hardware Hank makes Eagan, MN BETTER!!!

I love this place. It is so much easier than going through a big box retailer. They have almost everything you could ever need, but you can get in and out super fast. This is my first option always

Great store. My truck broke down on the route and I needed a C clip. They had it! They will have what you need! Don’t waste your time with the big box stores. Also thank you guys for letting me use a tool to fix my truck.

Took my ice auger in to have it fixed. Was leaking gas and tough to start. Cost over $200 when I can buy a new one for 400. Charged $70 for a new carburetor (normally they would just clean the old carb) $54 for a new gas tank when the tank was fine just needed a rubber grommet. I used to bring things to Charlies Hardware in Bloomington but they closed dow . I will not go back to this place ever again.

Rude customer service.Called them to ask if they could rekey some more locks and the person said “sure, come on in!” We drive all the way there (15 minutes) only to be told that their locksmith is gone til tomorrow morning. Why wasn’t that communicated over the phone before we wasted our time? Learn to communicate and not waste your customers time. We were also told we “should have bought the right locks.” Had no problem at the other hardware store with these exact locks. If someone calls in asking about a specific service, tell them if it isn’t going to be available! What a joke. I’ll never be back.

A smaller hardware store, but the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. When they dont have something they will try to lookup the part and or suggest a few other places to see if they happen to have the part. Also a good place to get keys duplicated.

Just had my mower repaired here. They did a great job and fairly cheap. Used this same store about ten years ago and was disappointed... went back last week and they fixed it overnight. Great Job. 

Im not sure whom Joe Taylor dealt with but I have never been steered in the wrong direction at this store. Ive been coming here for over 15 years and yes some things cost more but Im in and out faster and get the right advice the first time around

These guys are great. So much better than Home Depot for service. I bought a snowblower from them, and they delivered it fully assembled, and had already put oil/gas in it, inflated the tires and made sure it ran. Just today I went in to see about a drain snake since I dropped my wedding ring down the shower drain. One of the guys there turned me on to a grabber tool that was not in the plumbing section that I never would have found without their help. It ended up pulling my ring out of the drain no problem.

A+ help. I had a piece of drum hardware that needed screws and re-drilling. Worked out great. I couldnt have been happier with the service. I left a tip... they deserved it for helping me. If I had more cash on me, I would have left more as a non-handy man.

Very unhappy with the service department. I called ahead of time to see if they would be ok doing warranty work on a snowblower I bought at Home Depot. They said no problem on the phone. When I came in to the store the employees just complained about people buying items at box stores and then going to them for repairs/warranty work. The employees were rude bordering on hostile. I will not go back to this store for anything.

Staff didnt greet anyone as they were entering the store, didnt even acknowledge that anyone was shopping in the store. The two staff members working Monday morning were also very rude to myself (at checkout) and another customer (when he asked the staff member a question) . Not a friendly and welcoming place..wont shop here again!

Most helpful staff and have good inventory. Prices are same or less than Home Depot.

Best Stihl dealer in MN guys know their stuff and wont sell you on things you dont need.

Went in to get 15 duplicate keys made. They only had 7 of the cut that I needed. None of the seven keys that I got worked. Waste of time.
