Mediocre selection of hand guns and rifles. Little to no accessories. Sad availability if ammo (October 2021 and everyone else seems to have a steady supply) pleasant atmosphere but I would pass for the gun shop aspect.

Great place and very helpful knowledgeable staff as well, this place is definitely my go to.

Very clean up scaled gun shop. Today, while visiting location to nearby where I just moved decided to check it out. Walked in and was greeted by a young gentleman. Very nice guy. Unfortunately right away was being walked around and tried to sell me their membership. I told him no couple times but he kept discounting the price just to sell. Asked him if they sell, order or carry any hunting rifles. Answer was no, what they had on their shelves is all they had in stock. Wanted to purchase a hand gun, asked if they carried Beretta and they didnt. Whats the point of having a gun shop if you dont have rifles for hunting or guns that can be ordered. Anyways, there are few shops that carry most of it around the cities.

The range is state of the art. Constant air is circulating (apparently goes through 6 different h.e.p.a. filters). The conceal carry class is quick and easy, the young staff are enthusiastic about their jobs and are helpful. Just dont buy ammo here if you dont have to.

This place is okay in comparison to the Chanhassen location. It has less lanes and the workers here were not as inviting and polite. Plus they were slower when checking us in for rentals. As soon as I walked through the door I felt like I was being interrogated. I understand that firearms are a serious matter but please, at least have some good customer service. I think Ill be taking my business to the Chanhassen location only because they seem to have gotten it right over there.

Right off the bat this place is very nice, it was my first time at a gun range and even holding a gun. I didn’t get the name of my instructor but it was a younger gentleman and he was great at demonstrating and assisting me with anything. But my experience was not perfect. There was one older gentleman hanging around that didn’t pass the vibe check. When me and my girlfriend walked in he saw us and decided not to acknowledge us. His nonchalantness was offsetting for me and my girl but, Nonetheless I will return because the younger guys were all pretty cool.

Very nice facility. Friendly staff. They have guns for sale, ammo, and accessories. You can rent guns their as well. They have a digital range that is super fun and great for trigger practice. We had a lot of fun and would definitely go back!

This is is a sophisticated state-of-the-art Firearms and Education Club. Its world class atmosphere will leave a positive impression on even the most skeptical.You will be spoiled after visiting this establishment. All other gun facilities pale in comparison. This is an experience and you deserve to try it!

First time at the eagan location. Ive been meaning to go for awhile now. Stock and barrel gives a gentlemans range feel to it. Very clean facility, nice and open main area, the staff was awesome. The RSOs that were on Sunday evening were great. I didnt get a good chance to explore, but it would appear that the closed door areas are for members. In my opinion, the bays seem small, but its set up for more pistol use than rifle. I only glanced, but it looked like 12 bays. 25yd range. I will be looking into a membership.

I went to Stock & Barrel a few weeks ago for the first time to check it out with a friend. I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness and comfortable feel of the lobby area, which is larger and more welcoming than any range I’ve visited previously. The gentleman behind the counter was busy helping two other groups when we arrived and still made it a point to acknowledge us, which I appreciated. The range itself is perfectly functional with two buffer rooms between the range and the lobby, where other facilities typically have one in my experience. The only very small critique I have for the place is that their distance markers are painted lines on the floor, and either providing markers up near the target carriage or having a digital distance delivery system on the targets would be useful, particularly at range depths over 15 feet. The restrooms were also very clean and functioning as expected. I did not buy any ammo or merchandise on this trip and so am unable to comment on those elements. Overall I was very impressed and definitely plan to frequent this establishment.

If you are very experienced, or know little or nothing about guns, this is a fantastic spot. Very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Range instructors are fantastic. Many opportunities to take classes or range instruction if you would like. Extremely friendly staff make you feel very welcome

Took the permit to carry course. Kevin Vick was one of the greatest instructors Ive ever had! He answered a ton of questions and filled in with a few hilarious comments. I felt very safe in the firing range and would definitely return to try a few hand guns

The best shooting range I have been to! The air filtration system is awesome, it pulls all the smoke downrange and keeps your glasses from fogging up! Also the ammo prices are great, the .38 ammo is cheaper here then what I can find on lucky Gunner! And so far all the employees are very nice and always willing to help.

My husband and I took our conceal and carry class here. Instructors were very knowledgeable and kept you engaged (pardon the pun) in class. I feel much safer understanding the laws regarding owning and carrying a gun.

Great place for shooting!! The facility is brand new. Randy was great giving us instructions, explaining the rules, and giving an overview of how to select the correct weapon. In terms of organization and features, this place is the best Ive attended around the twin cities. I hope they will add more weapons for rental and sale, they have the most popular but not a huge selection. The training room and the members room is also amazing. In a very near future this will become like an extended family of gunners.

If you fear the covid dont come the this range. Very small, so many people packed into small area, many people not wearing masks. On the positive side the safety officer was very nice and helpful.

I’ve been using gun ranges for over 30 years, and was excited to try this new location in Eagan, which I heard was an upscale gun club. I went to the website, the place looks really nice. So we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. The check in people were nice, however the disappointment was on entering the range. No one greeted us to assign us a lane (we were told someone would) and it was evident no one was managing the safety of the range. The range was not organized or managed well. I was unaware that they rent out AR rifles and after being in the range, it was clear a few guys (who appeared to be inexperienced) were using one. Not only do these rifles give out a loud percussion, but the way the guys were using the AR rifles were concerning. In other ranges I’ve been to, there is usually strong supervision within the range, but that was not my experience at Stock And Barrel. I asked for a manager, but one wasn’t available.

This place is top notch, all the staff are super helpful and knowledgeable on gun safety, gun information for purchasing, gun laws, etc. The range is the best I’ve been to in the twin cities. A bit pricier than some of the others but it makes up for it due to the cleanliness and atmosphere of the club. Recently took their permit to carry course and I feel very comfortable now knowing the laws and procedures around carrying. Kevin did a great job teaching. Love this place!

I came to this range for my first experience ever shooting a gun. Everyone was beyond helpful with me and always treated me with a lot of respect. This was an intimidating environment to walk into, but upon meeting the staff they helped me feel comfortable and confident in using a weapon. I recommend this range to anyone who is curious about shooting a gun for the first time or regularly. I cannot compliment the staff enough on how great they made this experience for me.

Knowledge is a priority here. The staff is so knowledgeable and willing to educate you if you want it. Plus, they are very friendly and courteous . I temporarily am shooting from a wheelchair and they make every effort to accommodate me, from parking to opening doors to sweeping up my brass. Also the ventilation is excellent. Only drawback is the yardage marks on the target trolly are a little hard to see. I cant say enough positive words about this gun range !!!

I will start my review by saying I am a member here, and Ive been extremely pleased by the service. I originally went to S&B to renew my PTC, which is when I decided to become a member. The facility is very nice, the range is always kept clean and controlled, and the staff is great. More specifically, Shelley, Michael, and Kevin, have been especially great. Prices for members are competitive and I definitely appreciate the ability for members to make reservations. Keep up the great work, Stock & Barrel!

It was my first time at this place and oh man, the workers are friendly and they greeted my friend and I with smiles. This place is great and I would love to come back again. 5/5 for this location!!!BTW they provided masks and gloves to guests as well which was a plus!

I am new to shooting. Everyone working there is very knowledgeable and friendly.You can ask any questions without feeling like you are a idiot for not knowing. They will take time and explain things to you.I highly recommend this place to new shooters!

So today was the day I decided to try a new range. After looking at the website and scrolling threw the photos I couldn’t have been more excited to give Stock & Barrel a try. This definitely is hands down the best looking gun range in all of Minnesota. So I arrived at the range, February 1st at Noon. It wasn’t terrible busy given the fact it was Noon on a Saturday. I sign the waiver and get in line. There were 2 groups in front of me. After waiting 30 mins I wasn’t greeted/acknowledged by a single staff members. This was simple just waiting to pay. There were plenty of open lanes. I couldn’t take it, I and the two people I was with took our business elsewhere. I am a frequent shooter who was looking for a favorable Range to commit to and start a membership. It’s too bad this range didn’t work for me. I just can’t overlook staff that are unorganized and unprofessional. I went to Bill’s gun shop in Blaine. I walk in the door and by the time I get to the counter I was greeted by three staff members. There were several people ahead of me, I was on the range shooting with in 15mins of walking in the door.

Completely new to operating a firearm so sought out instruction re: fundamentals. Worked w/Zac, who was terrific, bringing professionalism and unparalleled experience to the lessons. He is highly recommended. Other staff friendly and engaging as well. Beautiful club.

It’s a nice range with a lot of great classes. The staff is really friendly and I would highly recommend stock and barrel.

Honestly I can’t praise this place enough, I recently started coming here and I’ve been bringing some new shooters. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and kind, it just makes you feel so welcomed here and they are always willing to give you advice and help you out.

I would have to agree with Andys review. I am a member and I too have been yelled at for shooting guns that are too loud aka my ar15s and SBRs. REALLY.... its a range.... Guns are loud. I have been really discouraged with this place lately and am somewhat regretful I became a member. If they want control over what guns can be used that needs to be fully disclosed up front and I dont mean the obvious, such as .50 BMG.... Seems like hardcore gun owners such as myself that own a number of different types of guns arent all that welcome.... Those that own ARs keep this in mind when attempting to shoot here...

This was my First time at a shooting range, and i dont wanna go back again there because one of the staff member spoiled my mood... I went there to have fun but instead he approached me rudely like Iam in a battlefield or a boot camp, I got disappointed my only suggestion is to be nice to the customers some are there first time and nervous soo be gentle and help them throughout make them want to comeback again...

We had an minor issue with the rso on duty one day being a little to attentive regarding things that we felt were non-safety oriented and he came across as rude and overbearing. We complained and threatened to cancel our memberships. That day and the next day I received 2 phone calls and follow up emails from management and even the COO asking for feedback and wanting to make things right. I also received another email about how they are working to resolve future issues. I feel that they handled our complaint very professionally, timely, and they take customer satisfaction and safety very seriously (which is a good thing). Because of how they handled things we are definitely not cancelling the memberships and look forward to going back soon! I have never had a company resolve an issue like this, most of the time you get a defensive reaction or no resolution at all.

Ive never left a review before but based on my experience I had to. The two stars go completely to the range, I enjoyed it and thought it was a great size (not too crammed or constipated) they also gave me a great deal on using it. However thats the only thing I enjoyed about my experience at this location. I went to purchase a firearm (for the first time) and had already pretty much figured out which firearm I was prepared to purchase before arriving the glock 19. While there and explaining that this was the gun I intended to purchase I got nothing but Oh thats such a popular gun I love glock everyone seems to have that gun nowadays but it turns out not only did they not have the firearm to rent for the range, they didnt have it at all. So they told me they would call over to their other location because they have some, and they would have it brought over next day and would give me a call right when they opened. Never got a call. I had to call them. Left my contact info (which they should have already had) and told them to call me as soon as the gun came in. This was 2 days ago and still no call. I went to Bills gun range in circle pines today and bought my gun because I as a consumer should never be treated that way. Will not be going back to this store.

Excellent facility that will become even better with the planned expansion, staffed by highly knowledgeable, yet unpretentious, people.
