Very tasty and soft serve and creamy ice creams.. The owner was accommodative of our customizations, providing extra wet napkins etc., It was an enjoyable experience. Will go again. The only reason its 4 stars is because couple flavors on the menu were not in stock. I hope to visit again and taste those flavors too and revise the start to 5. 🍨

Cute place. Its got all the standard ice cream flavors and a selection of candy (nothing too fancy). The ice cream rich and delicious. Seating is outdoors, and theres plenty of room to park out back. Cash only, but theres an ATM inside.

If you remember the old Sweet Shoppe up the hill from this location, do not expect the same place when you go. This is not the Hillside Sweet Shoppe of my childhood. I’m sure covid hit them hard but even if they had toppings and such, the place is itty bitty and just very very run down. It’s ice cream though. So. If you are nearby and need a cold treat, it’s fine.

It has a pretty good variety of rich ice cream choices. The Cherry Amaretto is the best! They only have 2, maybe 3 tables outside but theres always the Eagle Landing State Park across the bridge that has a few benches and the river view =)

Amazing place, almost positive that the ice cream is homemade. Id like to personally apologize for my step fathers temper tantrum of throwing the ice cream because it was melting all over him. Highly reccomend!!

A really clean and cute candy shop thats in a great location! It looks as if there isnt enough parking but I discovered today that there is ample parking in the back. The owner was very kind and welcoming.

One of the best ice cream i had so far. If u are on the trip to Gillette castle and visit East Haddam, You got to stop at this Amazing pink ice cream building. They are made from natural intigrents and not from just products that give color and texture.

Went here after a summer concert. The ice cream is delicious. This is a great stop to make after a show at the Goodspeed Opera House or a dinner at the Gelston House.

Ice cream was fine despite being a little expensive, however the man who serves it doesnt smile, speak, or make any effort to be friendly at all. I left wondering what wed done to make him so angry because it looked like he was trying his best not to scream at us. Made us very uncomfortable. This was my third visit here and its been the same each time.

Unique color scheme. A small sundae and kids cup ran about $10. Server was very nice.

Excellent extra thick chocolate milk shake. Beware of steep entrance to parking.

The man behind the counter was unfriendly, no greeting, no smile, seemed put out that he had customers. Barely any candy and what was there was not labeled and in Tupperware containers. Ice cream was ok but could have gone to the grocery store and bought a pint of the same brands for the price they charge. Will not be returning.

Customer service left a lot to be desired, the guy behind the counter didnt smile once, didnt say have a nice day, no hi how are you. If it wasnt for the good quality ice cream and fair pricing this place would have 1 star from me.
