The ice cream is of good quality; with a caveat- at the price point and level of service you get- it’s just not worthy of more than an average rating.It is an all cash establishment- which is okay and actually welcome in today’s shopping world.However, the owners should put the credit card fee savings in to providing a better overall experience for the customer...perhaps better quality napkins?It’s always nice to be appreciated and have a feeling of gratefulness when visiting an establishment that sells a premium, non essential item at a premium price.One of our orders was delivered incorrectly which can always happen on a busy day- which it was...the line was long but flowed well. I was impressed the the workers ability to serve and get everyone out of the store quickly. Kudos goes to them.No one was disappointed in the ice cream; a few mentioned it was good.I hope my review was helpful.If you visit; I hope you enjoy the experience.

Highly crowded local famous ice-cream shop. Crews are excellent and very friendly. Most of the are youths and very patient to listen and suggest the ice creams flavor.Street Parallel parking is very hard to find to get into this shop. Everything is fine. Will visit again.

Fantastic ice cream with some good flavors.. Long and disorganized line though..

Recently tried this ice cream when we were visiting montauk and East Hampton. I googled “best ice cream” places and this came with better reviews. It was sad to say I had the opposite experience. I tried the moose tracks flavor ice cream and still have the old musty ice cream flavor in my mouth. It tasted store bought and far from homemade. The chocolate tasted old and had a sand like texture. Next time I visit montauk and East Hampton - it won’t be to this place.

Only real option for ice cream in the area, and the ice cream is good-- but come here for the DONUTS! Thats what steals the show and what brings me back-- a bag of freshly made, still warm, cinnamon donuts. Melt in your mouth. Unless youre craving ice cream, Id skip it for donuts.

Liquid gold! The line is out the door from 7pm till closing. Yes, I waited at least 20 minutes to get a taste. Had to spend $7.25 for a mini waffle cone and 2 scoops.Plenty of choices to choose: Yogurt, ice cream and low calorie something was in a case. Than you can do a topping for another $1.00- anything from candy to fudges.The walls are lined with news papers and comics from the past. There is Carousel horse inside for kids to ride for 2 quarters, Edged in the corner was seating for 8. A huge vending machine for soda & water.They also serve donuts which I got to see at 5pm- but had no idea- they would all be sold out so quick. Heard they are MOUTH WATERING.A place not to be missed. Several benches outside to enjoy your snack.

The longest line you will ever wait on to pay cash only for ice cream. They do have a lot of good flavors and toppings, and other than Dylans Candy Bar (which only has a few flavors) they are the only option for ice cream cones in East Hampton/ Amagansett etc. and they are the place to get ice cream in East Hampton. But as a result, the line on a good night is out the door and at least a 20 minute wait during the season, so be prepared. It may even be longer.

I’m lactose intolerant and can only have dairy free ice cream . Came in and told the girl ( child of about 16 years old ) that I want dairy free flavors . She didn’t seem like she knew what she was talking about since she kept offering me sugar free instead. We settled on muddy boots and some strawberry flavor. I asked her few times if she is sure there is no milk in them and she said she believes so. Long story short my stomach got seriously upset after I ate it so I called in and asked what dairy free flavors they had that day and the manager said just chocolate. People can have serious allergic reactions and no businesses can neglect the fact ! Unless they don’t care. Won’t be back .

Why do I wait in line to pay top prices for premium ice cream? Because thats what you do in the Hamptons. Then you walk down the street and talk with whomever youre with about life and whatever while enjoying it. I could do this every day.

Ice cream was good. Nothing special. But definitely the most expensive ice cream Ive ever had! The girls working behind the counter were less than friendly and not very enthusiastic.... Almost like it was a chore to serve us.Been there. Done that. No need to do it again.

A cosy ice cream shop with unexpectedly delicious flavors. My favorite was the toasted coconut, which I would recommend for all coconut lovers. The coffee and chocolate chip were good as well.

Fantastic place! Lots of old nick-nacks on the walls that you can spend hours just looking at. Many flavors to choose from almost to much! but they are very friendly and quick with the sample spoon!Super section of toppings, and did I mention the home cooked donuts? I did not get to try a ice cream topped donut because they were sold out but when I stopped in earlier in the day the looked yummy. So go early for you donut fix.On a Friday nigh the place was packed and at times the line was out the door. But dont let that scare you, its worth the wait.

The donuts are SO GOOD. I love the cinnamon sugar donuts fresh in the morning, but the powdered sugar are pretty excellent too. FYI this place is cash only.

9 of us arrived at 10.30 pm and the store employees refused to let us in, even though google informed the store is open till 11. There was also at least another 6 people waiting to be served and the staff just shut us out. Rude!

I know this place gets crowded because it is the only ice cream store in the block but the service was really lacking. There were a few young kids serving and not sure if they really knew what they were doing. I asked for mint cookie fudge and she gave me cookies n cream.... How do you mustaken the two. Instead of giving me a new one the older lady scooped out the cookies n cream to help replace the other flavor. It made a mess in the cup. The ice cream flavors were not really original.so disappointed. I would not go back here.

Do you train your horrible employees to be horrible people or do you specifically hire rude, disrespectful and horrible people? The setup of your shop is terrible and it’s not the people waiting patiently in lines fault that there’s a whole bunch of other people in front of them. There’s no one who is not “willing to be served.”

From a distance it was hard deciding on what size cone I wanted. Figured a scoup is a scouo, but it all depends on the cone. A big waffle is wayyyy too much for 1 person to handle, mini waffle will suffice. Delicious!
