Really good service here. I bought a new laptop in September and the motherboard went out on it 2 weeks later. I brought it into the store and they were able to determine it was defective and switched it out for me. Thanks again.
They actually come up to you and ask you if you need help and they have people that know about the products. It makes in store shopping allot easier.We ordered our washing machine online from them. It was painless. The delivery and installation were free. It was well co-ordinated the delivery people showed up on time and were friendly, courteous and professional.
Don’t use for Apple care services. They only stock the new expensive phones so they couldn’t replace the SE2020 under warranty. The salesperson was patient and polite on the phone.

I purchased a phone that I was given information about by the employee, and it turned out to be false causing the phone to be useless to me. I got home and set up the phone and called the 1800 number about the problem. The lady on the phone said that because the customer service associate gave me bad information the store would be able to waive the restocking fee. This store will not, and they sold me a trash phone based on bad information. They took no accountability and claimed that they cant help it if new employees dont know anything about their product. How can you ever trust buying anything from a store that doesnt know their own products and doesnt take accountability for their mistake. It cost me 50 dollars and buttache.

Horrible customer service. Im always given a problem trying to pick up orders. The manager is extremely rude as well. I went to the store to pick up a new Xbox X for my brother and he was so excited because they are so hard to get and they cancel my order before I even show up... even though it was shown ready for pickup. The manager told me that they had no explanation and can do whatever they choose to do. Like how can anyone stand for this. I understand canceling beforehand, but canceling the order after the order was marked ready for pickup is extremely fishy. I bet they do this to a lot of people and keep them for themselves. I recommend going to other BestBuy locations instead. This location is horrible.
I went in to ask about using a cell phone & a very nice young man in that department showed me what I was doing wrong even though I had not bought it there.
I ordered a Microsoft 24 Watt Power Supply from East Hanover Best Buy. The box delivered to my home was ripped and missing the product. In addition to reporting the situation to UPS, I tried calling the store, which is accepting No calls at this time. I was transferred to Best Buy corporate support who informed me ( they could do nothing) that I would have to go back to the store ( a distance from my home). I requested that the support staff ( at least) inform corporate that the corrugated box used by Best Buy for shipping my product from a fulfillment Center in Kentucky to NJ was shockingly flimsy. There was no bubble wrapping or any other material to prevent the item from slipping out. I was told that there was no one for him to convey this message. Apparently Best Buy support staff do not think it is important to convey consumer dissatisfaction or suggestions to Corporate. So I and other consumers can only assume that Best Buy does not care about quality control or customer satisfaction!Jane

Sales associate in appliance dept was very pleasant but I emailed and called to follow-up but no response to either. Associate was going to quote out appliances for my kitchen. So we went to Yudins appliances in Passaic and Ken was great and very helpful. Try a store that cares.
The installation of my Viper Remote starter and auxiliary Remote was successfully completed. The Remote starter includes a one-way Remote and I purchased an additional Remote for $100. That is a 2-way which allows me to know the car has started.The technician never gave me the one-way Remote that comes with the starter. And Best Buy offers no way for me to contact the store that did the installation which is 45 minutes away.Terrible customer service and somebody pocketed my Remote which pisses me off.Update.. heard from Tim at bestbuy installation center and he claims the remote is of no use to me and its sitting right there on the workbench.I really dont think that they have any business making a call on keeping things that a customer purchased as Part of a kit.Never had this happen on an install before at Bestbuy.I also got no paperwork Nothing at all past installations I got the boxes back and the instructions for everything I purchased.

We had a gentleman by the name of Edgar (I believe) from the tech/computer dept. help us out. He was very knowledgeable and helped us in every way he could. And all of the other staff seemed to be the same way, very nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend this location if you are looking for a new computer etc and have questions.

On Monday I went into Best Buy to look at washer/dryer combos.I met Tahji & she went over the different models with me.I didn’t have allot of space & she was very knowledgeable on the product information, she had an answer for every question and she was extremely friendly.I felt confident in the information she had given me so I went home and did some research.Today, I went back to Best Buy to purchase the machine - but had one more important question.Tahji was off but Topher helped me out. He was also very knowledgeable and friendly.Very impressive staff. Great personalities too.I purchased the Whirlpool. The price was very reasonable- It’s the perfect size, and it has a glass top, soft close washer with the dryer on top.They have free delivery and only charged me $30 to hook it up.Just a little side note: I went to PC Richard first. When he priced out a similar machine for me they charge $75 for delivery and $150 to install. Why shop here when I saved $120 on delivery and installation at Best Buy? You can’t beat it.Go to BEST BUY-~! The customer service was phenomenal.Thank you Tahji & Topher.

Im putting 5 stars for employee Richard!! I had a very serious cell phone issue. I approached the Geek Squad and without hearing what problem really was he sent me to cell phone dept. The girl there looked at me blankly and had no idea and referred me to Geek Squad. I told her I was just there. She just shrugged. I was leaving and sales associate Richard approached me and addled of he could help. He listened closely to my issue, politely asked if he could see my phone, and without getting into the details, he figured it out!!! He was so pleasant. I asked if I could tell his manager, and he said dont worry about it. He was glad he could help. Amazing guy!!!

Ive been done dirty by Best Buy in the past but they really are handling COVID well. The curbside pickup is the best Ive seen anywhere and theyre taking temperatures and only allowing so many people into the store at a time. I am amazed and endlessly appreciative of it. Im astonished, but I think theyve gotten a customer back long term.

Bought online, chose curbside pickup at this store. There was NO curbside pickup despite the sign at parking space. I called them to let them know i was there to pickup. i was on hold for 15m before i got frustrated and hung up.No signs how to pickup order. Cashier was extremely lukewarm about me being there. Sorry lady, just trying to pick up my order. Such a waste of time.

A great place for electronics. This time i was looking for home appliances to be used in a rental property owned by a friend. Discovered that the store tended to carry more high end products which was not wjat we were looking for this time.
One-hour pickup is a great feature to have when an employee needs a replacement laptop immediately to get back to work, although Best Buy could implement a more efficient procedure for changing whos authorized to actually pick up the items. Doing so in our recent case added any twenty minutes of additional wait time. That isnt a knock against this store location, of course, as its own staff were courteous and understanding while they dealt with what is actually a corporate issue.
I have been at this store several times. My friend bought a gaming desktop and the Supervisor Roma was forcing us into getting and antivirus.She explained that the one included with our purchase was useless. We refused because my friend already has one that could easily be installed in his new system. Instead of letting us be, she told us she was a supervisor and we didnt understand what she was talking about. At the end of our encountrament she said since you didnt listen to me, if something happens to this computer, dont come looking for me I wont help you. I have never heard a Supervisor be so disrespectful to a customer.

Best Buy is Best Buy. Its nice having the store around to pick up the occasional last minute thing, but generally its not a great store. Their return policy and customer service isnt great. Of course it is a nice place to view things like TVs and audio equipment in person.
Best Buy needs to update their service appointment prompts online. I booked an appointment to service my 7th generation ipod ( I know, old school but I dont like listening to music from my phone while I work out). On the website, I entered my product information and the service I was requesting. Once I got to my service appointment with the geek squad, the service for my device is no longer provided ( its considered vintage lol). It wouldve been nice not to waste me time and change the prompts online.
Poor service all around! Dirty! No one was at the registers, meanwhile a line of people were waiting to check-out. An employee came in from outside and looked shocked to see nearly a dozen people in line not being helped. (Who knows why she was outside instead of doing her job.) After calling for help on the radio another employee shows up with nasty attitude, getting into arguments with her coworkers in front of the customers and arguing with the customers. Management really needs to train employees on customer service and basic people skills! The employees are wearing dirty gloves to ring up items, protecting themselves but not you!
Geek squad person was knowledgeable and personable with my problem and its solution.
Understocked on everything, especially Bluetooth portable speaker and staff was inattentive and hard to get ahold of except for when you enter and leave.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I want to start by saying that I know were in the middle of a pandemic and the rules have changed through all this. However, this store goes the extra mile to make things difficult and frustrating. There are almost no parking spots that dont have a sign saying its for online pickup only. When you enter the store, you are put on a line that isnt properly social distanced because there is hardly any room. In order to enter the store, you have to tell someone what you are there for and you are told there are no employees to help you or check you out if you wish to purchase something. You are not allowed to browse the store (seems strange for holiday shopping). I gave up and went somewhere else. Im sure Best Buy doesnt care about mine or anyone other potential shoppers money, but Ill take my business elsewhere going forward.

They have me buying there because of their worry-free warranty. In a great layout, this store has all the electronics from the best brands. Their geek squad will take a few minutes to assist you.Thank goodness for such stores, Id rather put real items in a real cart than virtual products in a web cart.

The service in the computer department was great. The workers were friendly and offered helpful advice. The selection of laptops to choose from were limited but the store still had great items.
Very happy with the help I got from Ann. I bought a Chromebook and a one year protection plan. Applied for a credit card there that was offering a choice between 18 month zero interest or a cash back option. All this within an hours time. Happy and home seeing it up. I found prices to be competitive, not great. Selection was ok. Service today was really good and made it a pleasurable shopping experience.
Contactless curbside pickup. I arrived & parked in one of the designated, numbered spots and clicked on link in the email to let them know I was there. Within 5-10 minutes staff asked me to pull to the front. My item was loaded into the trunk and I was back on the road. They didnt check ID or verify I was the correct person but it was quick and easy.

I purchased a tv and when I got home It was cracked in the screen and when I went back to the store they refuse to exchange it or even refund my money back and when I asked for the manager he did the same thing and even worse he called the cops for me because I insist to take my money back or a new tv .
No staff! No help! No one answers the question clearly! Poor service.Solution: Increase the number of employees or hire more people to help the customers and train them for a better customer service.

Extremely unhelpful staff in particular the floor manager Roma. I went to the store to purchase a new phone, I scheduled an appointment and was at the store on-time during my appointment window. After waiting for 30 minutes, I was approached by this lady who I believe is the floor manager (Roma) was extremely rude and unprofessional. She mentioned to me that they cannot help me and told me to come again the next day despite me having an appointment. She needs to learn how to talk and help the customers. I hope Best Buy will take some action against such unprofessional behavior. I would never shop with this store and not recommend this to anyone either.
Im experiencing the worst service ever with a purchase I made in the store. They failed to deliver the first time on the schedule day then I had to call them to reschedule. The guy refused to install for reasons best known to him. I scheduled installation for another day then they failed to come again ( big disappointment) I called to find out why, the guy hung up on me. I will going to the store tomorrow to return the items.

As an employee they have an active community but customers experience is different because we arent able to experience or sample the products.

The staff tried to be helpful, but the store has almost no inventory left, not even the floor models. If you really want something from Best Buy order it online or at least call ahead to make sure they have it in stock.

The service here is great. Sometimes you have to flag someone down but when you do, they are so helpful. They are knowledgeable and willing to make a deal. My husband was able to make a decent deal on open box items. The managers also remembered us and asked how our previous purchases were doing. I like that above and beyond kind of service.
I wouldnt want to do any in store shopping right now, as there is a queue to be allowed in that can take quite some time. Online shopping with at store pickup goes smoothly though.
