Joe was amazing and super quick. Only issue is that it’s walk ins only and first come first serve basis. No more calling in for appointments or online appointments. Hours are 7am -3pm. The later in the afternoon the better.Jody the receptionist had a bit of an attitude when explaining the process and hung up on me which was rude and unprofessional but the service guys are great.

Brought my jeep in because I was sure there was something wrong with the transmission (I have zero knowledge about cars). The service department was very busy but I was still helped quickly and the gentleman that helped me was very friendly. Due to it being so busy they were not going to be able to look at my car for a few days. No problem, I left the car with them. To my surprise I got a call the next day, my car was ready. It wasnt the transmission, just a small computer issue which they fixed. Will absolutely go back for my oil changes and any issues that may arise in the future. Professional, friendly, honest and customer service oriented!!!!!

Beyond the current wait time due to semiconductor shortage (not within the dealership’s control), the car buying experience took me in total of 1.5 hrs (0.5 hr to finalize the deal before placing order, 1 hr to receive the car and sign paper work). Thats blazing fast compared to usual half days spent in dealerships. A bit of home work on the buyer’s end and providing all requisite documentation ahead of time was all that was needed. Great experience. Will highly recommend

Fast, quality service at a very good price! They even pointed out some things that went wrong during my last scheduled maintenance. I needed a few parts so they called the Alfa dealer to get them, and I had them the next day.
Leased a car here which was pretty straightforward, but find the customer service here to be the absolute worst. I tried to make a service appointment for an oil change and the representative asked if a month out worked. I asked is there anything earlier? to which the response was do you want me to remove someone from the books?. OK, lady was having a bad day, fine. A year and a half later, my family grows and with it a need for larger car. I call to ask if its possible to transfer the lease and upgrade my vehicle. The gentleman, in the most condescending way, informs me that I need to call the bank. When I ask if theres contact information he could provide, he responds what you need me to google a phone number for you? I just dont understand why a simple question seems like the most outrageous request. Im never buying or leasing a car here again.
Friendly and efficient service is provided time and time again when getting cars serviced or when purchasing a new car. Individualized attention is always provided as needed also. It is great to have a go to place we can trust to care for our car needs.

Great dealership I came to look at the Jeep gladiator Willy edition. They were kind and welcoming when I walked into the dealership they werent overly aggressive when I was walking around and looking at the inventory which was nice considering every time I have bought a car in the past from other dealerships I felt pressured by the salesman. When I finally found the car I liked I sat down with Henry one of the managers who was excellent!! This was the first time Ive been to a dealership and I didnt have to haggle for the best deal because it was already presented to me. I called for an appointment to have my gas cap cover changed. I recently purchased a Dodge Challenger and wanted to change out the chrome gas cover to black, which I have already gotten. It’s only a matter of unsnapping 3 plastic clips under the rear panel cover and snapping the new one on( according to the video on you tube). I was told they have NOTHING available until the first week of August. I’m only considering bringing my car here because it was serviced here by the previous owner. This dealership is more than 20 miles from my home. Thinking of looking for some one closer as this is a only a a very tiny time consuming fix.
This dealership is very efficient and professional. They tell you the truth and give you the best options without being too aggressively encouraging. Overall excellent experience.
Wish there was a negative stars option for this place. Have never felt so dismissed from a dealership. They definitely make the stereotype of dealer salesman live up to its hype. Just in this case its the service department. Ive owned Japanese, German, and American cars, but never have had as many issues as I have with these guys. I have factory issues with the cars, 2, a wrangler and a Cherokee, and Im told I Need to pay for a rental because they have no such thing as a courtesy car. A stab was added you didnt buy the car from us.

By far the fastest, easiest, & happiest process of purchasing a vehicle! From the start I give them a 10 +. Working with Dean, Tony & Chris exceeded my expectations! I spoke with Dean over the phone at 930 AM - told him what I was interested in, he called me back within 30 minutes going over everything with me & right then and there I was sold! I had been shopping around at a few other dealerships and Nielsen presented me with an offer I could not refuse. Dean was so pleasant to work with - it is my first time leasing and he was there to answer my numerous phone calls throughout the day each time I had a question regarding the process. They started my paperwork before I arrived so that when I arrived at 5 it was all ready to go. Tony was the best salesman I have worked with, and Chris in finance was also amazing! I called and left a message for Service to call me on a Thursday - then again on Monday - I got no reply on either message left. I finally connected with service after calling several times (they are always busy) and was told that the first appointment for changing a light bulb only was 15 days out. Which is insane. I was told about walk in appointments - so the next day I arrived at 830am to get light bulb changed. They were kind enough to take me - but I didnt leave the dealership until almost 11am. Almost 2.5 hours to change a parking light. If I could do it myself - I would.I only use this dealership because I work a couple miles from there. I prefer Milford PA Jeep dealer that is over an hour away from my house - they will always take small and emergency issues same day.

Woke up one morning my jeep had oil on the ground 2017 limited wrangler. I called the dealership and spoke with Victor Rodriguez. He Advise me not to start my jeep and to have the jeep towed in to The dealership. I Google my issue with the jeep and found some results . Victor was in touch with me throughout the whole ordeal so I was able to forward what I found out about my jeep. He checked into what I googled. He checked for warranties then he got back to me with all his results before he did any work on my jeep. That was very important to me. I have to say he made me feel very Secure and confident that the work will be done properly. Victor Is the best ! I really appreciate his customer service and look forward to working with him in the future if ever I have any issues with my jeep. This dealership has gotten better because of people like Victor Rodriguez.
Excellent! My salesman Peter went above and beyond for me and I greatly appreciate it! I called one day and explained my situation to Peter who happened to answer the phone. Long story short, I leased a 2020 Honda HRV from Honda in September of 2020 and unfortunately I just did not like the car at all. I’m typically a “Honda girl” and I’ve been looking into Jeep for a while now. I instantly regretted my decision on my recent Honda purchase and went to see Peter regarding looking into the ‘21 Jeep Compass. He completely helped me out and I swapped my Honda lease for a beautiful ‘21 Jeep Compass altitude. Turning a lease in early isn’t what you typically plan to do but they made it very easy. I’ve spoken to a few Jeep dealers prior to coming to Nielsen and they gave me payment numbers on a downgraded version of the car that I currently have now and I couldn’t even believe it, total rip off from the other places. After seeing Peter, he offered me an amazing deal that I just could not pass up. I’m so glad I decided to do business here and I will highly recommend Nielsen Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram to anyone. Ask for Peter and you won’t regret it!UPDATE:It’s been 3 days since I’ve had the car and I LOVE it. I drove it during the winter storm this morning and it drives so well! The service team at NDC is great. I had a faulty soft top on my Jeep. They helped me work with FCA to get a replacement top. They advocate for their customers which is not all that common at dealerships.

Took my truck cuz it broke down and all my lights came on the dashboard and wouldn’t pass 38 mph. They dealer couldn’t figure out the problem. They had the truck for 10 days and All they did was flash the computer and did a update, then gave me the truck back. That last 3 days and the same problem happened again

I went in to lease a 2021 Cherokee Limited. Everything was fine until it came down to cost. As an affiliate reward member, there is supposed to be no haggling, I’m entitled to 1% below the dealer invoice plus any specials at the time of purchase. The msrp, was 37k, when I modeled the monthly cost on the lease I used a cheaper trim of $30k which was around $100 per mo with a 10k down payment. I figured it couldn’t be much more with a higher trim. I quickly checked before heading over with the limited trim and it was in the $150 range but didn’t do a screen shot of the model using eshop.jeep.com. Nielsen came back with a $300+ monthly cost for the same terms, handwritten on a blank sheet of paper. When I told them that was drastically overpriced and I wanted to see the dealer invoice and the detail as to how the got to this value, they came and said it was a “mistake” they forgot to apply the affiliates rewards discount about it was reduced to the mid $200s. When I told that was still incorrect and asked to see the detail again, they told me “it doesn’t work that way” and that I needed to show them the website that was reflecting my expectations. I informed them that this wasn’t a game where someone would withhold until seeing what the other had. I told them I would rerun the calculation on my phone with the limited model and in the meantime they should go get the breakdown that I had now asked for 3x. At this point it was again, just a number scribbled on a blank sheet of paper. At their refusal, I walked out.I’m happy to say I closed today on the EXACT same vehicle, with the same terms (10k down, 15 miles per year, 36 mo) for $138 a month lease with a very reasonable buy back option at another dealership a few miles away.How this dealership initially expected me to pay close to 3x that and then 2x after their “mistake” while refusing to disclose any detail for that cost is obscene, manipulative and flat out predatory.Needless to say I will NEVER patronize this dealership and would strongly advise anyone thinking of buying a car or leasing to demand a full breakdown of their cost analysis.
7/6/2021 - I made an appointment to drop off my Jeep for service on a Thursday around noon for an oil change, tire rotation, and coolant system inspection. I was told, when leaving the service center, that everything would be started in about 3 hours, and I may need to leave my car overnight depending on any issues they may find with the coolant system. I was expecting them to find a leak so I left my car no problem and confirmed they would call me before performing any additional work. It is now Tuesday, and I have not received a single call. I have actually called them every day since with people either pushing my call to someone elses voicemail, or getting no answer at all. In their defense it is a holiday weekend, but my car has been there for at least 3 business with no communication from them at all. Not even a hey, we found something but were still trying to figure out what it is exactly, or hey, we havent started any work on your car yet. Overall, I am not happy with their communication, as I was expecting a status update on Friday in order to plan my transportation for the following week.I will update my review upon receiving my car back and either upgrade it to 3-stars or downgrade it to 1-star depending on quality of work performed and their pricing.7/7/2021 - I am updating my review to 4 stars after finally getting a hold of someone and picking up my Jeep yesterday evening. They apologized for the lack of communication and docd a hefty diagnostic fee I was expecting to pay for the coolant system test after finding nothing wrong with it.8/31/2021 - Back down to 1 star. Brought my car back for the same issue only 2,000 miles later. This time they found a leak and wanted to charge me $1700 to replace the radiator, perform a coolant flush, and replace two cheap parts that would be accessible while doing so. I obviously declined as I could do the work myself for $400 plus a few hours of labor, or bring it to a non-dealership mechanic for $800. Its not only absurd that they want to charge more than double for this work, but on top of that, they still got me with the hefty diagnostic fee that they so kindly waived last visit only after I complained. The worst part is, they didnt even inform me of this fee at drop-off this time, which exposes their communication issues yet again.TLDR; The service group at this dealership has communication issues, they cant diagnose issues correctly the first time, and their pricing isnt fair even for a dealership.

A week before my visit I telephoned for an appointment, for a simple oil change and tire rotation. The Nielsen service representative told me I could not make a reservation for such routine maintenance, informing me that oil changes and tire rotations were on a “first come, first serve” basis, and suggested I get to the dealership as early as possible.On the day of the service I arrived at the dealership at 7:10 AM, and was second in line for the Express oil change service which was to open at 7:30 AM. I informed the service advisor that I was there for an oil change and tire rotation, and he asked me if I had made a reservation! I told him that I had been told by the Nielsen service department when I called that I could not make a reservation. He then told me that they were backed up, and it might be a while.” This despite being second in line in the Express lane,Well, should I make a reservation or not? Had I made a reservation, I could have arranged to have been picked up at the dealership and return later in the day to pick up the car after the work had been done, instead of sitting in the waiting room for two and a half hours. I think you have to make sure that all the employees are working go off the same sheet of music.
My customer service manager apologized for taking some extra time to get back to me. Sometimes you need to take a step back with companies being short staffed and not having parts on hand, as well as, having to follow protocol. He is getting me in ASAP to make sure my issue is resolved.
The service at Nielsen is exceptional. We got our Jeep in 2020. We love it and the awesome service for oil changes and car washes. My tire was low and they fixed that too! We always ask for Roland in service. What a friendly and helpful guy. He is quick to get us an appointment, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. He always takes care of us. We would 100% recommend Nielsen Dodge East Hanover and Roland for service! Five stars!

Ernie the salesman is not helpful and worst listener ever. . We ask for lease new Jeep Wrangler he keep on trying to sale us used Wrangler. He was rude and make his customers wait for him when we set up appointment a month ago. Won’t never go back there anymore. But thank you for his rudeness we got Audi at Paul Miller on 46. We are super happy with their service.
I was a part of a purchase at Nielsen a few years ago but didn’t purchase or service my current vehicle here I decided to contact them for a service visit .My service advisor was “Flavio”. Flavio keep me informed of all progress, returned any phone calls, and provided all needed information.I was VERY pleased with Flavio and his polite demeanor, and EXCELLENT customer service !!!!Thank you Flavio!!!!

Every time you make an appointment your car does not go in at appointed time. Only will it go in at appointed time is if you wait for your car. However, that is not the information you receive when calling in to schedule appointment. I had a 7:30 am appointment, I dropped car off the night before and it was supposed to be ready at 10:00am. I called at 11:15 and the car wasn’t even looked at. It’s also supposed to be washed every time it is serviced, however it doesn’t get washed in the winter because the garage doors have snow in front of them so the car can’t get into the car wash.
Worst service department I have ever dealt with! Was the best in previous years and have no idea what has happened to them. They are rude and unprofessional and I will never bring my car back even under warranty.

I had a pleasant buying experience years ago but I am posting a review for their service and responsiveness as a current and owner for 5 Years+. I have left voicemails and called for 2 weeks straight and havent been able to speak with a representative. Bad doesnt begin to describe the lack of communication and responsiveness.

Amazing service and an amazing job! My car came out perfect. I am so happy with it. I can’t say enough about Martin Hogan, Bodyshop Manager. He was truly a nice man. I highly recommend everyone to use Nielsen.
