I ordered Spanakopita (Spinach pie) today. It was inedible. It tasted like cream of spinach soup with a soggy crust. Ill never order that again!! I threw it all out!! Ive had Moussaka from the diner before and that was very good!!
Extremely disappointing. Food came to the table ice cold. I sent it back to be cooked longer ~ waited another 15+ minutes.The waitress, Amy was quite lovely though. She was very accommodating.
The server was amazing I just didnt like the breakfast and lunch selection. I had to order from the dinner menu. The food I ended up getting was good

The wait staff was friendly. I needed coffee badly and an evening dessert to cap my night. They brought this delicious chocolate cheese cake which was a life saver in both aesthetic and size. Coffee was good too.
This place was really crowed when we came at lunch time but I now know why, it was really good! We had to wait a few minutes for a table but right around 1:30 PM it just cleared out so maybe dont come right at lunch time and you will not have to wait. Great food and great old school service too!

I LOVE this place! It is exactly what you expect and want from a trip to a diner! Great food, friendly staff that quickly treat you like family, and it is always immaculately clean! Also I cant recommend enough the Roman Special! Its basically chicken parm with soup or salad and a desert but it is soooooo good! Also I dont think Ive ever been able to finish my food here and always wind up with enough leftover for a second meal!
Love me a good NJ diner. That said, its tough going from roomy Covid-era seating to incredibly cramped, tiny table dining. We were not the only diners knocking over water glasses. Still: good food, good prices, friendly and professional staff.

Im giving five stars for the wonderful vegetarian meal I had. Its called Performance Power Bowl. Sauteed onions, peppers, tomatoes, broccoli florets, black beans and sliced avocado over brown rice. You can add chicken if you want a non- vegetarian dish. I brought half of it home, because I couldnt eat all of it.
Went really late at night - seemed to be an uptight staff member who was storming around. However decent diner food and would go back. Fair pricing
A traditional Greek lemon orzo soup that is absolutely out of this world. Fantastic bakery, great portions, a classic New Jersey Greek diner. Dont miss it..

My girlfriends and I met there for a late lunch. Great service we had a breakfast platter. Grilled cheese with french fries and brown gravy. Lemon merengue pie for dessert. All great. Clean inviting.

There was something wrong with the food from there because I have to vomit later that night and all of it came out. Mind you that I didnt have anything else to eat all day prior to eating there.

I’ve always driven past the East Hanover Diner, and it always caught my eye but I never stopped in to try it but I now realize I have been missing out! Today was my first time ever ordering here but it will surely not be my last. My coworkers and I placed an order for pickup & I am very pleased with the service and food. I didn’t catch the name of the woman I spoke to when placing our order, however she was so sweet and accommodating. It’s refreshing to call in to a restaurant during peak hours of operation and be greeted and treated with such positivity, especially during times like those present where people seem to be so angry and short with others. It sets the tone when you are immediately given superb customer service even over the phone. My coworker picked up the meal and the woman I spoke to was so attentive and immediately greeted her. We all enjoyed our food and the service made it better.Thank you & I wish this business all the success and prosperity to come!

Excellent Diner-This is really the best in New Jersey. I am a fussy eater, and this diner knows how to cook properly. Portions are large and quality is high. Always friendly too, which is much appreciated. This is my new regular restaurant.

FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS! East Hanover Diner is the most underrated diner near us. We ordered in and they accidentally forgot our soup. We called to let them know and they went above and beyond to make it right. Not to mention the food is top notch!

Typical diner experience but had some interesting extras. Multiple omelet choices and delicious looking baked goods. Had the pesto omelet which was surprisingly good. Serving staff was very quick and polite, would definitely return.
My favorite diner so far, and Ive been to quite a few. I had a power bowl, or protein enhancer bowl and it was filled with rice and vegetables and was so simple yet so delicious. waitress was sweet and relatable, I also got disco fries.... their fries here are perfection.

There is ample parking and you get seated right away.There is a wide variety of food to choose from.If you go between the hours of 3 to 6 pm you get the lunch specials and its worth it.You get soup,salad,soda plus a refill, your entree and dessert.The cakes are so good.
Back in business and just as good and reliable as before.

Always good food and in a timely manner. Good breakfast prices and the diner is kept up and clean. I frequent this place at least once a month or so.
We have gluten free and tree nut allergy concerns when we go out to eat. East Hanover Diner knows how to work with them all. Almost always have a good meal and a great experience.UPDATE: another lunch at the East Hanover diner. Another successful dining experience. Had a new waiter that was extremely attentive and quick. Highly recommend.

They have handicap parking and ramp for people who needs it. The food is really good and the service there is well. The breakfast is awesome the omelettes I tried are so tasty. I recommend the triple Deckers sandwich the tuna one was good. My fiance loved the Texas burger here.

Its one of the best diners that I have been to, the last time I was there was during the blizzard of 2018.Last time was just a Greek salad, this time was prime rib which was very yummy 😋 They were out of baked potatoes and the waitress asked me if I would like a sweet potato. That was delicious, I have to remember to have one again. 😀

I loved my experience here! Natasha was my server and she was phenomenally kind and professional. The food was delicious and well prepared, honestly, the prices are quite cheaper compared to other diners and eateries around the area and the overall quality here is much better! I’m sure to return and recommend the East Hanover Diner to everyone I know.
I live in the next town over so Ive been to this diner a countless amount of times. Never got tired of it. The food is classic diner food. Their paninis, sandwiches, burgers, etc. are all great. The breakfast food selection consists of some delicious options as well. The portions are pretty large for the prices. Good value, in my opinion. This is a cozy and comfortable place for groups. I could spend hours here just hanging out and having a chat with some family or friends while having a tasty meal. The service is typically good. There have been a couple times where our waiter or waitress was a little rude. However, it was never too much to complain about. Overall, love this place and love the food.
