My husband and I purchased three Spirit machines (treadmill, elliptical, bike) in June 2020. These are high quality home machines, not cheap at all.In late May 2021, we began contacting the store requesting service. After several people in the store were of NO assistance, especially Cathy, one person (Johnathan) finally gave us the contact information of the person we needed to speak to, Quiana. He informed my husband that this process is handled exclusively through email. This person, Quiana, I’m convinced (after several exchanges) is an unprofessional young person who is probably related to the owner. The lack of customer service skills are so apparent that she couldn’t have been a qualified hire.After my husband contacting the “client services” person Quiana for four weeks, I took over the task. After a scathing email in August, she returned my communication. She offered a date of September 3, 2021 to have the machines serviced. After accepting the date, she goes MIA for a week.I contact her again August 27th and 31st, as the service date approaches. Finally, she returns my email on September 7th telling me that “storm victims equipment was damaged and needs servicing”. Yet, we have been attempting to get our machines serviced since June.I’ve had it. This is THE WORST experience. When requesting the name of her superior she responded, “ I am the Director of Client Services”, you would speak to me. Therefore, she refused to give me her superiors information and our machines are still unserviced, which will cost us in the long run when they don’t want to uphold the warranty.This is what we get trying to help the local smaller businesses. Don’t buy here. Go to a large retail store and save yourself the frustrations.

What an awesome company. I went to another fitness store to purchase dumbbells and was told it would be a 6 week wait. I walked right into here and got a full set of rubber dumbbells immediately even some in 2.5 increments which are always hard to find. I accidentally grabbed an extra when loading my car so when I brought it back they gave me a pair of 7.5s for my transit trouble for my own mistake! I couldn’t have had a better experience buying from them today.

Excellent service. I purchased a Life Fitness Elliptical on 5/8/20. I called the store, spoke with Michele, made an appointment and went to the store. Michele was very knowledgeable, and helpful. The machine was delivered as promised and a highly skilled team assembled the machine and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The elliptical works perfectly. I recommend the Fitness Superstore to all. I have already referred friends and I plan on making more purchases there. 5 star experience.

BEWARE, Don’t Believe Anything they tell you. I had purchased a weight bench and only purchased the leg extension piece after I was told the item would be arriving in their next shipment, which would be within a week. After calling each week to check status we were assured it would be in the next delivery. They never return calls after leaving messages and don’t always answer the phone even during store hours. After multiple attempts I finally get someone on the phone and the sales guy tells me the item has arrived and will set it aside for me with my name on it. I immediately take the hour drive over because it’s my son’s Birthday and this was to be a birthday present. I arrive to pick up the leg extension only to be told by Julio I can’t have it, it’s for his customer who has been waiting since August. I’m sure Julio’s customer has been fed the same line since August too. Much to my dismay I left without the piece only exasperated further by his bad attitude. The business practices of this store as follows; Delivering only what you want to hear= lack of business ethics, poor management of inventory, lack of internal communication, gross negligence of customer service and lack of professionalism leaves one wondering how is this place even in business???Giving this business 1 star is too much!

Buyer beware. I am in the process of suing. I bought a lifefitness elliptical and it has never worked. Problems from day one. I understand these things happen, so I worked with their technicians, who they claim are the best in the business. They couldn’t fix the machine after two visits. At that point I asked them to take the machine back. They refused and said I should work with lifefitness to get the machine repaired. Lifefitness has been to my house twice and, still, the machine cannot be repaired. Again, I tried to get Fitness Superstore to take the machine back and the wouldn’t. They claimed that they need approval from lifefitness in order to process a return. I called lifefitness and they said they never heard of such a thing and that it is up to the vendor to process a return.Please do not patron this store.

Ive been waiting for weights to come in for over 4 months now. When I went into the store to purchase the weights back in the June, the store rep told me I should have my weights in the next week. After talking to Michelle the following week she told me that due to all their order of weights, that the estimated time to receive the weights would take longer, but that I should call back Thursday or Saturdays as thats when they typically receive their shipments. She also told me that despite initially being told the store would call me when the weights were ready, I should call because they did not have enough time to call people to tell them their orders were ready. Each time I had been into the store, the same guy at the front desk was always playing on his cell phone, so how are they too busy to pick up the phone to call customers if the people who work there are dilly dallying. I just think they need to be more truthful when telling people dates or say we will get back to you. Most recently I called to find out about my weights, and the guy on the phone said that they should have these weights in the next shipment next week. This is the same line Ive been told every Thursday/ Saturday that I call. He said they had a metal weights in stock for the weights that I had purchased, however he continued on to say he had to make sure they werent reserved. Why would you tell a customer that you have something but then you have to make sure they arent reserved, that makes NO sense. Also they said they would check into something for me and then call me back, but they did not do that, which doesn’t surprise me and they still did not have the answer to my question. Some say I let this go on too long before doing anything, but its COVID so I was a little more lenient with it. I would NOT recommend buying anything from this store as their customer service has been unreliable and unprofessional.

I recently purchased a treadmill for my house from Ultimate Fitness Superstore. Danny was very helpful and knowledgeable to help find the best treadmill for my family while staying within the budget I was looking to spend. The installation team was just as exceptional. The treadmill was delivered within 3 days and the installation team was able to accommodate my schedule with an evening delivery.

Ultimate Fitness had exactly what I was looking for - a commercial grade Helix trainer. The salesperson let me try it out and showed me all of its features. Home delivery and set up was scheduled quickly. I received the machine within a week. Set up took less than a half hour. Very satisfied with the product.

Was going to purchase then i saw prices start to creep up during the pandemic. on one hand i think supply n demand. On another i think exploitation of ppl being at home.

Used them for repair as they are a BH Fitness authorized repair center. Because of the way I wanted to be billed the first technician visit was missed, but the scheduler took full responsibility and apologized (but it was really my fault because I wanted to be billed in a slightly nonstandard way and that was outside their usual flow). When we rescheduled - they squeezed me in quickly - I was delighted with the technician, who showed up on time and was polite, friendly, conversational, and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the problem and we ordered the parts from BH while I stood there; the return visit to install them and to incidentally do treadmill maintenance is included so in about a week Ill have a working treadmill again.The people I dealt with, both the scheduler and the technician, were pleasant and clearly had a customer-service orientation. Some of that is probably training but some of that is hiring a nice person to begin with.

Lots of variety and great prices

We just bought a Bodycraft V500 rower tonight and we are very happy about this purchase. We have been to the store twice during the weekend but we could not decide which model between V400 and V500. David, who is a very good sales guy, did not push for the more expensive model but was very helpful to make sure we tired everything in store. And, yes, we did get the more expensive one!

Danny the owner was great to work with, gave us a great price and explained all of our options for ellipticals. Delivery was fast and they did an excellent job with installation and making sure we were clear on how the equipment worked/features, etc. Highly recommend.

Was lucky enough to visit this store when I was building a home gym. Working with Danny was great. He was very knowledgeable and in my case really went above and beyond to get me specific hard to get equipment that I was looking for. Danny (the owner) of the Fitness Superstore is an amazing guy. He is one of the most professional guys I have ever met in the fitness industry. He actually cares about every person who walks into one of his many stores. Doesnt matter if your looking for a 10 pound plate or an entire truckload, he is the same guy all the time. I was in the market for a sturdy, quiet, well built stationary bike at a reasonable price.When I walked into the Ultimate Fitness store I was greeted by Danny. He showed me several models and described the features so that I could do a comparison shop.I tried out the BODYGUARD bike and liked the feel of it. It came with a 3 year warrantee on labor and 10 year on parts. it cost a little more than I originally wanted to spend but because I knew it was a well built bike, which felt extremely comfortable to sit on and ride on, I decided to take the plunge. I have had the bike in the house for a few weeks and am enjoying it immensely. It is as good as the commercial model that I used to ride at the gym. Everything is conveniently located on this bike. The men who delivered it and set it up were gentlemen who were very careful not to mar any of my walls or furniture in the process of bringing it in. I am extremely satisfied customer. I feel that Danny steered me right and gave me all the information that I needed to make the right decision for me. I would highly recommend checking out the exercise equipment in this store. Buying exercise equipment from other sporting goods stores that sell this kind of equipment may save you some money initially, but the lack of a good warrantee and the overall performance and durability of the equipment may wind up costing more in the long run. I believe in paying a little more in the beginning and getting the best most durable and comfortable equipment. Less aggravation when the equipment is made to last. I was looking to install a home gym so I stopped by Ultimate Fitness in East Hanover and Leisure Fitness in Greenbrook. I ended up going with Ultimate Fitness because they had a much wider selection of equipment and reasonable prices.I ended up buying a functional trainer (Bodycraft PFT 2), a few benches, floor mats, and dumb bells. They carry a lot of Hudson Steel brand (which I never heard of), but after trying it out in the store, I found that its much higher quality than the junk that Dicks or Sports Authority carries. I was looking for quality equipment comparable to commercial grade stuff you see at gyms (e.g. Life Fitness, Hammer Stength, Precor, Cybex etc.), but without having to pay the premium for those brands. I was able to find that at Ultimate Fitness. Im very happy with my purchases and would definetely go back.Id highly recommend stopping by Ultimate Fitness if youre looking to set up a home gym or just looking for a treadmill or elliptical (they have a lot on display) and they are willing to work with you on price.

I would not go anywhere else for my home fitness equipment.
