I shop at the store regularly. I tried to buy a phone there today. Huge mistake. Phantom stock. Nothing explained to me properly. The front end pointing fingers at the cell phone kiosk. Now I have no phone and I have to go back into the store to order it rather than the store having one available for me the next time that I go there so it would be very inconvenient. Where is a store manager when you need one?
Much larger than the Wharton one, with more gluten free items, more checkouts, but no self checkout. Needed when you have only a few items.
Great store for bulk purchase of groscerries, electronic items, household furnishings and even garments. Reasonable prices. Spacious and well staffed to take care of customers.
Not much I can add except that the store is well laid out.Lines can get long on the weekend but that’s true for any Costco. They do move quick though.

Always pleasure to walk into this treasure hunt 😁. The store is clean, well organized and associates are cheerful and helpful. Even on busy time, you can get in and out of store in a reasonable time, if you stick to your plan😁. Btw samples are back. More insensitive to visit during lunch hours. 😁
Love this Costco. Never crazy busy and they have a lot of new items. You have to buy when you see t green cuz they are gone quickly.

This location is the WORST when it comes to customer service. Their rules for returns are different from day to day and from other locations. I visit Union and Wayne often and never experience any problems. Had to argue with them to get a gift card for my return which I have done numerous times. The kicker was to be called OBNOXIOUS by the front end manager, Wendy Reyes, and the phony and over exaggerated have a nice day by the clerks. Will never shop there again even though it is closest to my home.
Finally found my boba tea ice cream here so thank you Costco! That apart they have a pretty standard selection of things here and a great place if youre a regular Costco shopper.

I went to this Costco today, not my first. And found many interesting items.A few things I like, they keep introducing Asian food that almost no where else carry. Some are worth trying like the Japanese bbq scallop. It is a rainy day and there were plenty of dry carts. Lastly, an associate assembled my goods at check out in such a neat way that she hang the flower pots on edge of the cart. Worth a visit if you are a Costco person.
Nice store, much quieter than Clifton, strange layout. Feels like wider isles. As usual, very friendly staff. Smaller section of kosher food ( not surprised as I was one of very few going to section and not a big population in this neighborhood). Emergency exits not as clear in back. Again, nice people. Thank you.

Love Costco! The optical department is second to none! Contact lenses are 30% less expensive than when I get them from eye doctor. The optician helped me choose and order glasses too! Cant wait to go back!

Perhaps the best Costco in a 40 mile radius. Everything is organized and constantly updated to highlight seasonal items...tax is less than NYS. Worth the trip.

Even among Costco’s this location shines. Workers are always friendly and helpful. They always draw pictures on the receipts for my kids(their favorite thing in the world now). Returns have been easy, selection has always been good.
Standard Costco experience. Well managed store, good customer service. I particularly like their eyeglass dept., decent selection of glass frames, all the bells and whistles for prescription eyewear for a decent price.
I was there for an eye exam this time. Great experience. They were on-time, friendly, and very professional. The process of picking out glasses and lenses was equally positive. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend.
Love this place.I drove in today at 4:30pm with punctured tire under Warranty repair and no appointment (no revenue). Even though they were closing shortly, they squeezed me in instead of making me run back and forth on a punctured tire.Kudos to tire store, and to the entire warehouse, for going the extra mile!
They should more cashier lanes to enable faster checkout and avoid more lines.

Major inventory upgrade recently, changing my review from above average to excellent!!! Not sure if the change was due to covid or management, the result is pleasant. The selection is expanded by 1/3, the spaces are well organized so customers dont feel cramped. With its consistent friendly staff and clean store, this Costco is a solid 5.

Crowded on a friday evening. Its a large store but strangely arranged, bottlenecks along the outer wall where toilet paper and water can be found. Lots of the usual plus merchandise I dont see at the Wharton Costco. The parking lot is pretty chaotic so use caution.
This costco is very nice. Obviously spacious inside and the crowd of people are more respectful than the usual crowd of Costco customers (probably because of the area). They even have a pizza parlor inside
They have the best pork ribs in the area, hands down. We all know how good Costco is in general, and this specific location is always clean and has plenty of parking space. And with other stores in this mall, you get a one stop shop for all your household needs!
There is one employee that is extremely rude and impolite. Costco need to spend more time in training. The other employees are nice.
The biggest Costco I have visited so far. The store layout is also different from the other Costco I visited. I guess its because the space shape of this location. It offers more merchandise for your selections. It was pretty crowded. I guess located in a big commercial complex might be the reason.
I have been a Costco member for 20+ years and lived in multiple states. This is by far the worst Costco warehouse I have shopped at. Routinely does not have items you need, sells produce (fruits, vegetables) that typically spoil a day or two after you bring it home, is not particularly clean, has no Gas station connected to it so not getting full membership benefits. Sadly, this is the closest location to my house so it is convenient but thats about it. Costco where is the quality control?
I was looking for a specific potted tree and this night manager not only went looking for it but call me back to advise of status rather than make me wait on the telephone line. We never found it at this warehouse but guess what later appeared on the Costco website under different skew. Best tree ever.😍
Shopping is most always a pleasure. Prices are great, and most everything is easy to find.
Excellent deals! be careful not to purchase what you do not need. Many of the Cashiers are so nice, Jean, Martina, Reggie to name a few at the East Hanover Location. Helpful staffs, many of the employees will go out of their way, to help find a product.
Wide selection of items and always stocked.
We are impressed by the efficiency at checkout. Even on busy days when the line looks longer, we seem to get out quickly.I must add that they have a supervisor who is named Jeff, I believe. He is outstanding. He is always jumping in and resolving issues. He’s fun to watch.Oh, and it’s a clean store.Edit: we have had three separate interactions with staff where our questions were answered or we were helped, and one special time. That one time they went beyond the normal duties to locate an item that was stacked up high and they went up with a forklift and closed down the aisle so we were all safe, and they pulled it down for us.
I was able to find what I was looking for and able to checkout very quickly. All in all it was a pleasant experience.
Costcos is always good to go to all the people there are friendly that Ive met.Theyre all beef quarter pound hot dog and 20 oz drink for $1.50 is a great buy and their Pizza is pretty tasty as well 👍
East Hanover store will benefit from sensitivity training, and character improvement training. One time, One worker shouted at me in public because he thought I was cutting in line, despite the fact that my daughter was in line. One worker, Britaney insinuated that I am a shoplifter, she called me back after I have walked passed a few yards away, despite the fact I have a walking cane. I have no merchandise on me as I came only to request a new card. Britaney yelled at me from the entrance. I lifted my arms to show that I bought nothing, then she said I may have placed it in my backpack. Do you think she would have apologized. I recognize her as the person, who, gave me a very cold and unfriendly treatment at one time while I was in East Hanover Costco. She scolded me for some unknown reason. Her supervisor, Wendy Reyes would not help me when I tried to identify her. On another occasion, I was also charged twice for three expensive items. I had to review my receipts since then. So always review your receipt against the posted price, and the exact number of items you bought.

Costco as a whole is wonderful place. All the items are well managed. The stock of items is versatile and abundant in the Hanover costco but the staff is less friendly and cooperative as compared to Rockaway costco. Overall good place
Once you go Costco, you never go back. Your yearly membership will pay for itself quickly. This location has a huge selection with food that is always fresh.You may not find everything here, but what you will find will usually be valued better than competing stores. They also have a pharmacy; once you get over the weirdness of getting prescriptions at Costco, it proves to be quite reliable.The employees here are generally friendly and seem happy with their jobs. Costco has sample stations for many of their products throughout the day as well.Overall, highly recommend joining. It is definitely more palatable to shop here than a Walmart. The products are better and the employees are treated more fairly.Also, try their yogurt sundaes. Best snack youll find for a buck.

Lots of parking but the parking lot can get crowded. Store is packed and on some days they have a long line. Staff is visible and helpful. Register lines move fast
My the best shopping store
Went there on a Saturday which I dont usually do. It can use an awning or something on the side of the building to keep you out of the Sun. They dont wash the car to put after you stand there online with the car and then the store and then they hand you one cloth to wipe it down. Little late at that point. Number of employees had the mask pulled down below their noses. Also some not wearing gloves. Also the first time in a long time, two guys I got to check out were good and quick not complete a-holes as seems to be the norm there.
Clean, large area, plenty of room for social distancing. Great selection of food & all kinds of merchandise. Pleasant & friendly workers
It was my first time at this location 11/13. I really liked the products, clothing, meat/fish/ poultry and the store set up in general. My only complaint is the unprofessional and rude employees employed there. I ran into 2 during “first time” visit there, not good. Be mindful of who you hire to represent the company’s values to your customers.

Shopping experience was fine but the employee at the entrance was extremely distracted, causing the customers in line to wait an extra 5-10 minutes. Im aware that they need to limit the number of people inside, but this wait was very excessive.
Really impressed with Costco at the moment. Havent had to wait on lines, they sanitize the carts before you go in, and the store is spacious.At checkout they empty the trolly for you and no contact for payment. Same with checking receipt when you leave, they just look at it as you hold it.The food court has been replaced, but you can order a pizza at the checkout, not sure what other take out food.Overall very impressed with Costco in general, and their social distancing measures at the moment.
Shopping was quite good except for there being no paper towels when will Costco be receiving the paper towel shipment?The service and speed of shopping were made easy at Costco, hats off to the management at Costco.

This place as far as I know is covid compliance.... The staff is average, dont interact with them much. My only situation is the fruit! I brought pears that look like melons!!!! Not good! But overall a good place to shop.
