I bought my KTM 790 Adventure here and Ive been getting my service done here since. Its a down to earth place with sales folks who arent pushy. I walked out with a deal I could live with which separates this place from the circus and vultures that are motorcycle mall. The service guys are great, too. I dont ever feel as though Im being ripped off and theyve kept my bike in good running order (and I beat the hell out my bike on and off road). Highly recommend this place.

I can’t say enough good things about Hanover Powersports. After several disappointing experiences with other local dealers, I was elated to discover Hanover. The process of buying my KTM 890 was straightforward, honest, and easy. They let me drive the KTM and a Honda for comparison. This used to be typical at dealerships, but now for some reason no one wants to let you drive a bike before you buy. Not here!I just brought the bike in for the first service, and had them install some crash bars as well. Gary and the other guys in the service department were a pleasure to work with. They were able to fit me in on Saturday and get the job done while I waited. I drive out from Manhattan to come here because it’s worth it.Keep up the great work guys!

This dealership is fantastic. The service manager, Mike “MJ” is as honest as they come. Fantastic to work with from scheduling my appointment to pricing and being upfront about timing. Mike in the shop who worked on my bike was super knowledgeable and took great car of my bike. A third Mike in parts was also great to work with as well. Everyone at the dealership is nice and there is no pressure at all. Can just go and kick tires and talk bikes. Will certainly be doing more business with them.

I wish I could leave a negative 5 star review. I have a 1986 Honda Goldwing that is needing service. I was told immediately “we don’t work on those. They are too old” Last time I checked they are a Honda dealer. They should be able to work on EVERYTHING Honda not just a new one where all you have to do is plug a computer in to it to tell you what’s wrong. Oh don’t let me forget the RUDE attitude I received

Under normal circumstances I have always had a very good experience with Hanover Powersports. I have used them for service even though there is another Honda dealer much closer. At my last service (yesterday) the service was performed as promised, however, someone clearly rifled through my trunk and took the $10 I had stashed away. It clearly took a little time to find it. Because of the way the contents of the trunk were out of place I am confident that this happened while the bike was on their back lot and not by any of their employees. To their credit, both the Service Manager and Owner contacted me and offered to reimburse my loss. It’s not the $10, it’s the fact that my bike was invaded while under their care. Lesson learned-don’t leave key fob with the bike under any circumstances and ask the Dealership not to leave the key with the bike after service has been performed. Despite this incident I will continue to do business with them because of the Sales and Service experience I have had with them.

Incredible Service & Incredibly Honest Advice. Moved up from KLR 250 to KTM 350 EXC-F...Jesse and Anthony could not have provided a better experience for dirt bike purchase and making the bike better for me. My dirt bike skills (lack of skills) were addressed and appropriate springs added, pre-sets set for me (WHICH WAS NOT DONE WHERE I BOUGHT THE KLR), Jesse took time with me and also ANTHONY in parts was awesome in helping me with new helmet and googles...honest, great prices, fair trade value. Best bike purchase experience to-date (my 3rd bike, 4 bikes for kids...). Hanover Powersports also puts time and money into supporting the Hancock NY Fire Department which is why I went there...GREAT EXPERIENCE FROM GREAT FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS.

I’ve been meaning to write this... I’ve been coming here to buy gear/products for years. I’ve never bought a motorcycle here but I recently had to use their service department to clear out the a service light on my new KTM SuperDuke R which I purchased elsewhere.Mike or “MJ”, was the point of contact I reached to make my appointment. Even with crazy lead times, he was able to shoehorn me in as it’s just a simple clearing of the service light. The day of the appointment, I had a last minute meeting. I asked MJ that we could rescheduled. But he was super relaxed and told me it was fine as it’s a simple clearing of the service light. I brought my bike in and it wasn’t as simple as we had thought. When the tech, Adam, was going thru my bike he found some irregularities in my ECU as the original dealership set my bike up incorrectly. Namely, Heated Grips and Seat were enabled in my ECU — even though I hadn’t installed them! Further, the KTM SuperDuke R comes with a KTM My Ride application which was never activated on my bike. All in all, Adam was meticulous and went thru the bike and made sure it was in accordance with how KTM wanted it to be. He even went a step further and advised that a recall, (which the other dealership had allegedly done) may not have been performed correctly and suggested to come back. He even helped me set up the KTM MyRide app on my phone!All in all, I was blown away by their service. I really wished I bought my KTM from them but they had none in stock when I was looking — probably because they’re an awesome dealership with a FANTASTIC service department. Needless to say, I am a fan of the dealership and I haven’t even bought a bike from there (yet)!

I just walked in and bought a 2018 Yamaha MT-07. They had just received three, one in each color. Process was painless. Worked with Amy on the financing. Worked with Jesse on the sale. They delivered it to me for free. There is an additional show room on the lower floor which I didn’t know about. I had previously bought a Honda snow blower from them. They can get really busy with service. Pays to call ahead for service. Delivery guy was a joy to chat with.

WARNING: NO MASKS! Completely unhelpful staff. Tried to work with them over the phone but whoever deals with that is useless and never follows up. Went on location assuming Id be able to make a purchase but left after wandering around ignored. Lastly, literally zero employees and customers were wearing masks. Not one. They didnt even have masks handy to throw on when huddled around a bike. So, they are about as helpful and empathetic as they are intelligent. I cannot wait to purchase some ATVs and other items at a different establishment.

Jesse and Steve were nothing more than pleasant gentlemen making my purchasing experience a breeze. I came in and asked for Jesse. He helped me within minutes. Just went straight to the point of which bike I was interested in. He gave me a GREAT deal on a 2020 Yamaha R3. Definitely doesn’t try to rob u like most dealerships would. He set all the paperwork up and I dealt with Steve for the financial part. All in all I spent a little less than an hour at the place. We recently had a gasket blow on our Honda 928 Snow Blower and the fellas at Hanover could not have been more accomodating to get us up and running between storms last week. Despite a full slate of work in the shop they popped the gasket back in place, topped off our hydro fluid and serviced our Honda on the spot. I mean literally... in the back of our pick-up. We were in and out in about an hour and ready for the next storm. It is good to know that customer service like this is still alive. You will find it and a knowlegeable and talented staff at Hanover. Do not bring anything you own to this service department. Its been almost a full month since I dropped off my quad for a service and brake job. Apparently, they received the wrong parts and could not even have the common courtesy to call me and let me know. I had to make multiple calls and still they have no clue where my parts are. I understand things can go wrong, but have some decency to let your customer know. This is absolutely the worst service department in the industry. I would recommend everyone to stay clear of this place and bring your business elsewhere.BTW...they charge you for all parts and fluids (yeah...fluids) before you bring anything in for service, who charges for fluids before the service is done? Past reviews state (many 1 star reviews), loyal customers have been charged for services that werent even completed, please be aware and check everything before leaving this establishment.Lesson learned!

I bought a Jet Ski from them and was just informed that they no longer support or service the Jet Skis that they sold to their customers. Not a great way to build customer loyalty. Ive purchased three motorcycles from them as well as tons of motorcycle clothing and equipment. When I asked where they are referring their customers, he suggested a place down the shore. Very disappointed, went all the way out there from Brooklyn because of a low price on the website, price was way higher when i got there. Hanover claimed it was the lowest price of any dealer, and i would end up going somewhere else, realizing that and coming back anyway. Ended up getting the same bike from Motorcycle Mall for much less than Hanovers lowest price around

Very disappointed with the service--we purchased an inverter in August online and never received it. When we followed up September, we were told it was backordered and would be in the following week. We didnt hear anything. We called again, and were told someone would call us back with more information. This never happened. In November, we were told that it might not be being manufactured anymore, but they would let us know. Today, in mid-December, I went to the store where I was informed by George that they learned a week ago it was discontinued. Again, there had been no communication. He apologized and said he had made a mistake. He also told me that part of the problem was that the people downstairs who handle the internet orders hadnt even told him that we were looking for this particular model until October or November, so it wasnt his fault. George offered to sell me a more expensive comparable product with no discount or offer to make things right for four months of inconvenience. There was no accountability or concern that were facing a snowstorm tomorrow. I asked for my money back. Very frustrating and disappointed! (and masks were not on noses or completely off of other employees to boot!)

Floored by their honesty and post sale service. Purchased two vehicles from them in the past year at a very fair price. I could not view the oil quality and debris at my first service and the mechanic (Chris) video taped it for me so I could see what it looked liked. Holy smokes, who would do that today! Really I couldn’t be happier with the staff - we should make it our priority to keep these qualitative family businesses thriving - forget the large bike malls with their bate and switch BS and lack of product quality this dealership is what motorcycling is all about and should be. Called to schedule service for a recall to get fixed at the service dept. Was told lets order the parts 1st and then we can schedule the service. OK..... 3 weeks still waiting for that call. Most likely didnt want to do the job since Yamaha only pays them a fraction of what it would cost a regular off the street repair.Dont go and respond you are still waiting for the OEM parts they take longer to get. Because #1 you should have called me to update me and #2 I already got the issue fixed at another dealership within a week (Im not that dumb to call one service center and wait for a return call, I know how you all run your service centers). I could have ordered the parts and had them in my hands in 3 days.

Bought a bike on Thursday the 6th of June . They didn’t have the one I wanted so we ended up ordering it. Was told It’ll be 4-5 business days. It is now the 13th and still no bike. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a valued customer. Keith and one of the other guys in the service department worked with me on an ATV issue, answered my questions, and treated me respectfully. Their analysis of my quad was professional and thorough! I was blown away at their professional attitude as compared to another dealership. I spent a few minutes waiting for Billy in sales but he takes the time to speak with customers one-on-one instead of juggling many customers and conversations. There is a large cycle center about 5 minutes from my house on rt23 but Ill gladly drive the 20 minutes back to Hanover Powersports before I ever go back there. I only dealt with the parts counter at Hanover so far but the customer service is 10x what I recieved at the other place.

Awesome place. A very large selection for a smaller store. Knowledgeable salesman. I had Privilege of working with Bryan the salesman and Eric the finance guy. Most painless large purchase Transaction I ever encountered,. I purchased a 2018 KTM 1090 Adventure R. It was a leftover and priced at the cheapest price I could find in NJ. Bryan Was extremely knowledgeable in the KTM adventure as well as motorcycles and riding in general. And he’s nice to chat with while your waiting. Eric the finance guy also Knows impressive amount about motorcycles/riding. But his his finance skills are impressive considering what we gave him to work with. He got the loan for us. And was also nice to chat with while waiting for bank approval.SERVICE-These guys know the bikes. They finished my oil change tires when they said it would be done.They explained everything about the bike and answer any questions I had.And I just feel safer knowing these guys worked on my bike. Very professional vibe through the whole company. They are the only people that will overwork on my bikes. Even though they’re 30 miles away. I’ll make the trip.

My husbands experience was very disgraceful. Once he got there the Honda sales person was actually busy with another client so my husband waited nd started looking around at their dirt bikes and another Honda sales person actually walked up to my husband and had the nerve to tell him If you dont have the money to buy it, I suggest you dont touch it. My husband was in complete shock.My husband has a landscaping business and the reason for his visit here was because he needed to buy some parts to one of his (Honda) mowers. I felt very disrespected and most importantly hurt because I felt it had to do with race. Hes Hispanic. I truly believe that if it was a white client that Honda sales person wouldve NEVER have approached them like that. I am very disappointed. Hes never experienced such treatment at any Honda establishment.Although their (Honda sales person) behavior did change once the prices kept racking up for the parts my husband needed. It was than that they started treating him like a valuable costumer. Unless its necessary, like in my husbands case, I wouldnt recommend any Latinos to spend their money here.

I live about 30 miles away from this dealershipI came across it on the Internet and I am very happy I did!We were greeted by Billy and I explained to him that I was looking to buy another bike the problem was it would have to fit on my trailer.He instantly got a tape measure and we began measuringSo on his advice I went for a VSTAR 950.He didnt not have one there but while I was filling out the application he went right to work and found one and he would have it the next daySure to his word the bike was there the next day .He even went as far as to drive it on the trailer for meI cant say enough about this dealership I had such a pleasant experience! Amy helped with all the paper work and financing and is such a pleasure to talk to.Oh and I went out riding and I figured I would stop for gas but to my surprise the gas tank was full.You definitely dont see that no more.This is a wonderful dealership with such a friendly and helpful staff when you go there you will not be disappointed. Excellent customer service in parts. Greeted and assisted the minute I walked in (which I dont even expect) and was given accurate answers to questions I had. The only problem Ive ever had with this dealership is theres normally about 5 different bikes I drool over and gear and t shirts and exhaust systems etc. If I was rich I could spend about $50,000 in this place in 20 minutes lol

Always gone here to buy gear and to buy small parts needed. Brought it for a routine check up and they told me other work needed to be done which was fine but it’s been just under 2 weeks and I called to see what was taking so long and they told me they haven’t started working because of the high volume about of people that bring in their bikes. I understand everyone’s bringing in bikes to get work done and they want everyone to bring bikes in to make money but they need to schedule everything better. Their communication isn’t that good. The only person I’ve ever gotten a call back from is the Service Manager Kieth, everyone else says they will call me back and I’ve still never received calls. Very poor communication and takes too much time to do simple work
