I came in torn between which would be more practical for my commute, ES hybrid or and AWD hybrid Nx/Rx. Thanks to Alex I was able to decide on the Es hybrid, the way it handled completely won me over. When it was time to trade in my Lexus for a newer model my salesman, Tom Ryan, was out on extended leave. We walked in with the intentions of just looking and getting some numbers. This is my 4th Lexus and my 3rd with Hoffman Lexus. I wouldnt go any where else. I wanted to downsize. My last 3 Lexus were 350s. I was very pleased with them, but with both of my boys out of the house, I was looking for something smaller, possibly the NX. I still wanted the SUV look. We walked in and we were greeted by salesman Bill. Very helpful. I left my husband to speak with him and I walked around the floor looking at what they had. I saw this car smaller than the NX. I walked around it and then looked at the back side It was a UX 250H Fsport. Caught my attention. Took out for test drive. Was very please with the interior, the drive, seats and 39mpg. I just bought a Lexus for the first time. Cherif, Ryan and Mike made the whole process pleasant, quick and simple. I have bought over a dozen new cars over the years and this was the best experience. Cherif, while a manager was exceptionally diligent in follow up adding a personable no pressure approach.

First time having my Lexus 350 serviced. The staff treats you like royalty. The service center is state of the art and the waiting area is even better. Coffee & breakfast, leather recliner chairs, fireplace and an over-sized TV mounted on the wall.

I have setup an appointment for 2021 RX 350 AWD Test drive. When we were arrived no sales person available and said they were overbooked for the day and dont have inventory but they are ready to work on numbers. I never expected this kind of worst service from Lexus dealership. I did test drive 2021 Volvo XC90 and 2021 BMW X5 without appointment on the same day, they greeted very well and provided required details. I would have given 0 star if that option is available.

I had a great experience just recently at the service department. Monica was my service rep and she is super friendly and so nice. The service dept let you have a loaner vehicle when you bring your car in, which is a great service I feel is extra special provided to their clients. Everyone was very nice which makes the time you are here go by very fast.

Took my 450H for the first time at Hoffman’s Lexus, I was greeted right away by Melisa, She took me to her desk and take the information needed from the car and explain how long it will take. They are right on time. They also replaced the parts for the recall campaign at the same time, So I didn’t have to Reschedule as I drove an hour to get to the dealer. The staff were pet friendly, I was able to take my dog. they allow us to hang out In there lounge.I would highly recommend them and surely will be back for all concerns with my car.

I have been coming to Hoffman for service on my 2004 Lexus RX since I moved to the CT area a few years ago. Their service has always been great and the staff friendly. My 2004, I have learned, has served me well but it is time to move on to a newer model (and one specifically with AWD for winter). Tom Ryan did a great job in finding me the best deal on a lease of a new car and was supportive but not overbearing as I made my decision. I really appreciated not only the space that he gave me to make the decision, but also the thorough amount of details he provided to make a sound decision. Fair warning if they tell you that theyll make a loaner car available for you: even with full vehicle coverage, if youre not named on the insurance card, their policy is to not let you leave with their vehicle. Even with your insurance agent on the phone confirming full coverage.This morning I brought my vehicle in for an airbag recall and was told a loaner would be available for me. Just bring in your current vehicles insurance info. I live an hour away and was only able to schedule this repair if I could take the loaner so I could get back to work. Well, as result of their unreasonable policy, not only did I waste most of my day at the dealership, but so did my wife as she had to take a massive unplanned break from her work to come pick me up.

I purchased a 2014 Lexus ES 350 from Hoffman Lexus in May of 2014. After over three years of service without any problems, my wife was driving the car on the interstate when she heard a loud noise that sounded like a gun shot. She also heard the sound of air escaping from the inside of the car. After taking the next exit and safely being able to park the car, she inspected the outside of the car and found a major portion of the sunroof was missing. The remaining parts of the sunroof had pieces that were pointing outward as if the sunroof had exploded (see attached pictures). I took the car to Hoffman Lexus the next day and spoke to Bob DiNapoli, the Assistant Service Manager. Bob explained to me that although the car was still under warranty, the warranty does not cover glass damage. Bob also agreed that Hoffman Lexus would replace the sunroof at no cost to me as a customer goodwill gesture. The next day I returned to Hoffman Lexus and they replaced the sunroof. While they were doing this I spoke to the salesman who sold me the car (Karan Singh) about my next vehicle to replace my 2008 Expedition. It is a pleasure to deal with a quality organization and stands by the product they sell even when they do not officially need to do this.

We purchased our first Lexus from Hoffman in 2007. They have been servicing our car since then and the car still runs like new! The service has been so good that we just purchased another vehicle from them.

I recently brought my newly purchased Lexus RX in for a service call because there was a rattling noise that was driving me crazy. From beginning to end the experience was amazing. Derek worked diligently to find the culprit and he did...after working on it for days! He even took the time to sit with me when I picked the car up and reviewed all of the features and how everything works. I was so impressed with him! He was wonderful as was everyone else.

Great customer service from Roland Charest. Made me feel welcome and took care of my car in exceptional time. Even had a few laughs together. LolNever hesitate to take your Lexus here and taken care by him.

I have use this facility a few times and the service has always been to my liking. Although I must say this last time they keep my car past the allotted time my insurance would pay for a rental which is 30 days and I was left without transportation. They keep giving me a date my car would be ready and it wasnt and they did nothing to assist me with a loaner from them.

Customer service EXCELLENCE has been replaced with lackluster service. Staff not very friendly . Granted car service and representative was satisfactory. Was not wowed . Price paid was industry standard (I guess) for a battery, replacement of corroded cable and oil change $415. No car wash or vacuuming due to Reduced staff. Main coffee machine broke. Two Lexus’ later, plan to switch up or head up to Springfield for my next vehicle. Just saying. Hope this review provides an opportunity of improvement.

My visit went very smoothly. I was nervous to go there br side of the Covid-19 Pandemic. But the person who made my appointment assured me that they limit the number of cars being worked on, limit the number of people in the lounge to 4, it’s sanitized a lot, and there are outside chairs. Monica was very helpful and explained everything to me. I waited on an outside chair and that worked great. My leaky tire was repaired and I was told I would need all new tires in the fall, but did not need them now. They also found a light bulb that was out and a clogged filter. They fixed those so I know My car is in good shape now. I missed the car wash, but was glad not to spend that extra time there. Very satisfied.

The manager was attentive and asked if I had been assisted. The representatives were all busy and as soon as someone was available, I was assisted. The experience was a good one...not rushed nor hassled. I highly recommend Hoffman Lexus to others wanting an excellent vehicle with professional service.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced!Ive given them multiple chances to change my opinion, but after going there for routine maintenance 3 times, my experience has been the same....terrible!My experience each time:- make an appt- drive up to garage door-garage door opens, I drive in- I wait in my car for at least 20 mins, and no one comes to talk to me.- get out of my car and try to get someones attention...wait another 20 minutes.- finally get someones attention and get treated poorly, and asked to wait.Terrible service!!

Recently relocated from California to Connecticut and in doing so, it is sometimes a challenge to find a great dealer where you feel comfortable to bring in your vehicle for service. We were sad to leave our dealer in Southern California but the East Hartford exceeded our expectations. We had to bring our SUV in now two times and both times, the service has been remarkable. We had the pleasure of working with their Assistant Service Manager, Bob. A true professional that really cares for their customers. He really takes the time to listen to your concerns and evaluate the issues with you in detail. I never felt rushed or felt that they werent listening. For the safety of my family and I, I really appreciate his time and care.It is important to also note that the rest of the team are great too. We had the pleasure to work with Monica and Derek too. All amazing folks.The waiting area is also nice too, there is coffee, water, drinks, and they offer you a breakfast sandwich which is also really good too.Overall, I highly recommend this dealer for your vehicle needs. When we are due to purchase our next Lexus and now that we call CT home, we will be purchasing from here.

I have been going there for 10 years for service since I purchased my car there. Their service has always been, and continues to be, excellent in every way. That is why I will be purchasing my next car from them also. Service is just as important, if not more so, than the make and model of car.

Scheduled an oil change during the pandemic. Hoffman Lexus took extra precautions by having only one other customer in the lobby at the same time. The service was prompt and minimized my time in the building. Great job!

The salesman(Nick Batista) told me if I paid an extra $500 I would get certain things like a loaner car for service visits. A week later I had major issues and spent over 3.5 hours at the dealership. Guess what. No loaner. In addition to the major issue they stripped the screws on my license plate and when I got home from the dealer the plate was falling off.I was also told the car had a complete tune up, filters, plugs, etc. I checked the air filter and cabin filter and had to change both myself. Im almost positive the vehicle wasnt tuned up at all except for an oil change.The car was supposed to be detailed but was full of dog hair.Lastly, the salesman was supposed to send me copies of documents because of a mystake they made and never did. I kept bothering him to no avail. My last conversation involved him telling me he could buy and sell me. Unbelievable.There were some decent people at this dealer but I wouldnt buy a used car there again.##update.. Hoffman did absolutely nothing to rectify this. I will travel anywhere else to avoid this place.

Dealer was very professional and responded to inquiries promptly. Carm was great to work with! Even though we were buying an inexpensive car from their lot (under $10k) we were treated as if we were buying new. Highly recommend doing business with them.

My experience with my salesman Tom Ryan and the manager Walter was terrific.No pressure put me at ease willing to help with every aspect.So much so my wife is going this week to bye herself a vehicle.

Was in CT from NY for a funeral with my 89 yr old mother and had a mechanical issue on the road that needed immediate attention on my RX350. I looked them up and they took me in right away mid day on a Friday. Fixed my car while I waited with my mom. One person nicer than the next. What a class act!!!! Overall- the experience was very good- my only suggestion would be that for a Lexus, luxury Car dealership- that after a $600+ service of fluid checks and replacements, a car wash and Interior vacuum would be nice

Purchased a used car from Hoffman Lexus. I was treated like I was purchasing a new one. Service was beyond expectations. Car is in amazing shape. Sales man and dealership were honest, no negative surprises. I can honestly say best experience I have had purchasing a new or used vehicle.
