When I purchased my Macan in February, it was an overall good experience. There were some bumps in the road, but in the end I was satisfied.However, a few months into ownership of my car things have gone downhill. From the beginning the HomeLink garage door buttons in the car do not function properly. I mentioned this to service and they said theyre waiting for a software update to fix the issue - a little difficult to believe a 2 year old car will still have technical issues that have yet to be addressed. Still have not heard any updates on this.Next I have had a recurring check engine light issue in the car. So far, I have brought it in 2-3 times for this issue. I thought for sure the service department would have fixed the issue by the second time, but it came on again right before I was supposed to leave for a trip. I had to make alternate plans since I didnt feel confident driving the car with the check engine light on.I also had noticed that 3 of the door handles had hairline cracks on them, which is a common issue with the Macan. I had a little difficulty at first with this issue until I showed the service advisor the service bulletin published by Porsche regarding this issue. The handles were replaced, but the service department also scratched my car. I keep my cars in like new condition - in fact the car had a professional paint correction and ceramic coating applied right after I purchased it. The technician managed to scratch through the coating and clear coat on two of the doors. The service advisor dismissed my concerns and said they couldnt have done that. To make things worse, one of the handles that was replaced the keyless lock/unlock doesnt function.I raised these concerns to the general manager, but I have yet to be contacted to discuss the situation or remedy for these issues. I am very disappointed. Thus far I have been extremely patient. Its very annoying having to make so many trips back to the dealership, especially when the car only requires service every 10,000 miles/1 year. For the premium one pays to own a Porsche, a better experience is definitely expected.

I travelled from NYC all the way to CT to look at a Porsche Cayman they had in stock. Needless to say, the sales Rep Madison did an incredible job on making my first car purchase as easy as possible. The day of the purchase, it was snowing really badly and was also dark out. I was really worried about if I was going to be able to drive that car back home that evening. Before I was able to ask, they suggested I go home and come back another day when the weather is good to pick up the car. I didn’t have a driver to drive me so I ended up taking the bus from Penn Station all the way to Hartford, where a representative from Hoffman Porsche picked me up when they really didn’t have to do that. To top it all off, when I finally saw my car, the interior and exterior had been waxed and polished. I bought a used car but drove it off the lot looking brand new. Everyone at Hoffman Porsche made my first car buying experience amazing. If your Rep is Madison, then you’re in good hands. She will take care of you and answer all your questions.EDIT - 03/01/2021It’s been 3 months since I’ve owned this car and I absolutely love driving it. I’ve made some major and minor changes to the car gradually. First one being tints. I have 35% ceramics all around the sides and the back, the front windshield is 70% ceramic for heat protection for the leather interior. I got the rims powder coated gloss black and bought a set of Brembo brakes in red to increase my stopping power. BMC high flow performance filters on each side and replaced the stock intakes with carbon fiber. I got the taillights tinted just a bit for a smoky look. Lastly, I installed new gaskets, high flowing HJS down pipes, and a valved exhaust to replace the stock one. (Sounds a whole lot better now with no droning sound)

WAS DISCRIMINATED AND LIED TO BY THE STAFF HERE! Contacted the dealership for a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz and was given the OK to go the next day to look at the car. The next day, June 30 I drove for 1 hr to get there and when I walked in I was handed the keys and taken to the car. The salesperson (Anthony Lopez) did not say a word about anything unusual so Im assuming that my husband and I are about to take the car for a test drive. As my husband finishes examining the car, I state that Im ready for the test drive. AT THAT POINT, Im told that this car did not go through the safety check and that I cannot take it for a drive. Im completely aggravated at this point but although Im starting to feel that something is not right here (how as a salesman you did not realize that the safety check is not done!!!!), I still gave Anthony the benefit of the doubt. We walk back inside and he prints out the Carfax report for me and as Im looking through it I realize that this car WENT THROUGH SAFETY CHECK ON MAY 5, 2021 (See image below). I knew right there and then that this dealership had no intention on selling me this car, I had been assessed and obviously deemed unworthy of their efforts. I waited there patiently and with a smile on my face and he tells me that EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS CAR WAS ON THE FIRST PAGE. Of course he wanted me to concentrate on the first page. I left the dealership as he tells me that in the next day or two someone would bring the car to me to test drive. After we arrived home I told my husband that this man had lied to our faces from the moment we walked in. Of course the next day Anthony didnt call like he said he would so I called him in the afternoon to see if he would continue with his lies. Sure enough he leaves me a voicemail saying that someone put a deposit on the car without test driving it also and that they would let me know IF THAT PERSONS DEAL FELL THROUGH. Called him back and received an email asking if I have another question for them. At that point I left a voicemail for the manager and Im still waiting for a call that I know Im not going to get. By the way, had a friend contact the dealership and yes this car is still available for purchase. I am a mixed woman with a graduate degree but I guess not good enough for Hoffmans Porsche. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

What a wonderful car shopping experience! We knew the car we wanted. After contacting several dealers in CT we spoke with Silvio at Hoffman who did a thorough search and found the exact car - with a few extras! Then he personally brought the car down to our home in Greenwich! We definitely recommend Hoffman (and Silvio) and look forward to shopping for our next vehicle there!

This review is long overdue. Ethan was great at inspecting a used Porsche that I bought from the good guys at Coventry Motorcar. He and his team were very thorough and found issues that I was able to get fixed before I purchased. Ethan was great with communication, keeping me in the loop and taking photos and videos. More than 6 months later and my Porsche is running great.

We just picked up an SUV from Hoffman Porsche and the experience was about as good as you could ever hope for. We knew exactly what we wanted and what we wanted to spend and came prepared. We were able to prearrange many of the logistical and financing parts of the deal and we really only had a few lingering questions to clear up from previous phone calls. We arrived in the afternoon, Anthony got us set up for a test drive, we hammered out the few lingering questions and we were able to make the deal happen. Because we had already made arrangements with Hoffman Porsche in advance we were able to finish up with financing and drive our car home the same day. We will definitely use this dealership again in the future but I dont think we will need another new car for a while with the gem they just sold us!

My husband and I recently purchased a used cayenne from Hoffman Porsche in East Hartford, CT. After completing a fairly smooth purchase agreement we decided to add on a few cosmetic enhances which included painting the rims and other small details (out of pocket cost). On the day of pick-up we noticed the vehicle had not been cleaned properly and the few cosmetic corrections had not been completed. We wanted to speak with our financial manager at Hoffman Porsche, but were told she was out sick...later we found out she tested positive for covid... No one called us to make us aware. At that point they referred us to the floor manager, who reassured us that they would take care of our concerns, but never once mentioned his employee that was out with covid. When we returned for the vehicle, it seemed to be ready. We took off and noticed right away the vehicle was not riding the same as it did when we test drove and could tell immediately that the tires had not been balanced after the rims were painted... so we returned the vehicle for a 2nd time. Without a single apology they insisted we leave the car for another day (unable to balance the same day) forcing us to make a 3rd trip to pick up the vehicle. We love the car, but this experience was painful...and could have been life threatening.

My first experience with Hoffman was very positive; I was on my way into the dealer to have some regular maintenance performed (alignment, brake fluid flush) and received a CEL indicating that the thermostat had failed. Where do i begin? I first saw an advertisement on Cars dot com for a vehicle that was just traded in. No information was listed so i decided to give Hoffman Porsche a call. I spoke to Heather Meade and requested information from her which they did not have. She took down my information and quickly returned my inquiry with a phone call and an email literally with in an hour or so. The vehicles was listed at a lower price which was a mistake, but Hoffman honored the lower price. This alone was amazing because they could have easily blown me off and gotten much more for the vehicle as it was in Like New condition. Heather then transferred me over to Edward H, a Senior Porsche Specialist. Edward H answered all my questions and was very informative and knowledgeable with everything that i needed in order to make this purchase. One day later, i took the 3 hour drive to Ct to pick up my vehicle. The entire process took less than 10 minutes, there was no hassling of prices or extended warranties (even though i did request one). The entire staff was more than helpful and friendly, offering us beverages and a comfy seat where we could just lounge and relax. These people at Hoffman are not sales people, they are car enthusiasts that just happen to sell cars. i would recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for a great experience and an amazing vehicle.

Ethan Gombossy was very professional and helpful considering the current state of affairs (COVID-19). He explained what was being done on my vehicle and also provided info on a current recall that needed attention. He offered the waiting room or a chair outside. He wore a mask throughout and even used hand sanitizer on my credit card before handing it back to me. It was a pleasant experience and I will be back for service at Hoffman.

I recently had a great experience with the service team at Hoffman Porsche. My Boxster convertible suffered major flood damage and was taken to Hoffman by flatbed. Once my insurance carrier was put in touch with Hoffman, their service department took over all discussions and negotiations with the adjuster and made sure that everything was covered. I had complete peace of mind with Hoffman supervising the whole claim and repair process. To top it off, Hoffman stored our car without charge and had it delivered back to us in perfect shape. Great service experience! Needed a fuel pump replaced as part of recall and waited while it was performed. Booked appointment online and arrived next day. The wanting area is very comfortable with WIFi, TV, lounge chairs, coffee and snacks. Work was performed quickly and I was on my way in a freshly washed car with with complimentary snack.and water. I wanted to take my time to write this review since it will greatly help other out of state buyers. I had been looking online for a few months searching for my next vehicle. I had in mind a certain model and year that I was looking for. I didnt know anything about Hoffman Porsche except for the online reviews I looked at like this one I am writing. I live 30 miles from NYC, so this dealership was about 4 hours north of me. When I went to the dealership I met a gentleman named Karl Werner. After talking with him and test driving the vehicle I was sold. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and great to deal with. He did my transaction smoothly and quickly. When I drove the vehicle home I realized I left the paperwork in the showroom.I called Karl and before I knew it he had the paperwork in the mail fedexed to me which I had the next day. Wow! He also told me if I need anything to give him a call with any questions I had. I really couldnt ask for anything more. I was a little worried buying a car 4 hours from home. Honestly I chose a great place to deal with. I bought with confidence and I would do so again! Thank you to Karl and staff for making the car buying experience a pleasure and not a headache.

The best car buying experience of my life. I found a vehicle online and started communicating through email with Anthony Lopez, who was great at answering my questions on line. Within a day I had made an offer and it was accepted. Within two days everything was all set up for financing, and the car was detailed and ready to go. When I finally went to pick up the car, it took no more than 10 minutes to finish up the paperwork that had already been started online. Everybody I met there including the finance manager, sales manager and the service manager were extremely easy going and friendly. The service manager Ethan literally went over every single function of the car with me, he even set up my phone to the Bluetooth.Even though I was buying a used vehicle that costs 1/4 of what some of the cars in the showroom cost, I feel like I was still treated like a V.I.P., and this is why for my next car I will look nowhere else but Hoffman.And finally, the Panamera GTS I bought is incredible. Fun, fast and luxurious all in one. And on top of that a full Porsche CPO 2 yr unlimited warranty with $0 deductible helps me sleep better at night knowing I am covered.

This is my fourth Porsche that I have brought from Hoffman. Excellent Service. Just purchased a 2018 Panamera. Great vehicle only one issue. No one has been able to program the garage door opener to the car. Very flustering.

Recently purchased a Cayenne from the guys down at Hoffman Porsche. What an experience! From the marketing department to detail, this place runs like all dealerships should be run! This has been my first dealings with them, and it definitely will not be my last. Frank, my internet rep was pleasant and responsive, and got the ball rolling. Lou, the sales manager, was phenomenal at pulling the deal together for me! Karl, my sales rep was top notch as well! He made the process easy, showed me all the features of the car, and made sure I was totally comfortable before I went on my way. You can tell his love for the Porsche brand right from the first handshake. Josh, the general manager, was also on the ball and extremely responsive. Highly recommend them for any vehicle needs!

I visited 3 Porsche dealers within 30 miles of my home and not one of them ever followed up with me. While I appreciated the soft sell, I was very specific about what I wanted and I got crickets. Not only did Hoffman reach out to me immediately after I inquired online, but the sales team worked patiently and creatively with me over time to get me in a dreamy Cayenne Turbo.
