Omg worst place to go … Workers have no masks on and I saw them using their feet to close certain cabinets which they open to get cones and other food for customers.. I waited in line for 5 mins behind one guy and no one even spoke to me and said hi just give us a min.. very dirty place never again will I return…

Its Dairy Queen ! So yeah it taste just like it should ... This location is actually pretty good, nice n clean and the staff is very nice

At the East Hartford location I basically received expensive cups of vanilla ice cream. For two of the blizzards the ingredients that were supposed to be in the blizzards were only in the top of the cup. The blizzards were clearly not mixed all the way as they should be. One of the blizzards was supposed to be the Royal New York Cheesecake blizzard and there was absolutely no strawberries in it at all.

Always friendly and really good rootbeer floats.

This dairy queen is on the small side they have a few tables outside the nite was beautiful so we enjoyed our strawberry milkshakes an ice cream outside we had a nice nite

While in CT we had to stop and get Peanut Buster parfaits. Dont have DQs where we are so have to stop at one while visiting CT.

The one is East Hfd is a pain... Limited and expensive. The one in Manchester is awesome.

I don’t understand how DQ allows this branch to charge so much higher than other branches. $6+ for a small? It’s $4.20 with taxes included at other places.

When the car ahead of you orders eight+ items and the item for the car behind is made without taking timing into consideration?Soupy banana split to share is an inedible mess.When I call to make a suggestion to make items to order when the car is one car back?Crickets.I can make a sundae at home.

Slow service, staff is not friendly and prices are higher than other DQs. This location ( East Hartford) charges $2 to $3 more an ice cream than the Manchester DQ.

The guy wouldnt even talk so we can hear him in the microphone as we ordered our meal the food was overpriced it tasted nasty the chicken was so nasty I dont know what it was they put on it I asked for a minute and I dont know what that was I threw it on the ground and my dogs wouldnt even eat it I think they should shut that place down and make a parking lot

Lack of customer service is being nice cars were lined up at Drive thru into street I had to google phone number for East Hartford Dairy Queen to get service.the manager said hey man we will be with you in a few minutes after I had been waiting over 5 minutes already.i am 52 years old and this is the worst customer service I have ever seen.i left line and will not go to this Dairy Queen ever again!!!being rude and lack of custumer service is no way to keep loyal custumers.

Went yesterday after placing an online order just to find out they were closed, coming from near west Hartford. It’s inconsiderate to not put a sign up atleast so people don’t waste their time and money.

I live right down the street. I love their ice cream and their staff are really friendly!I wish this was a full-service Dairy Queen with a grill like the one on Sullivan Avenue... then maybe I wouldnt feel so bad about their prices.

Conveniently located on a main street, with a drive thru window. Delicious soft serve ice cream treats. Only negative is that the sizes are too small! The small is actually a mini, the medium looks like a small, the large SHOULD be a medium. You get the idea.

I was disappointed that all the table and chairs in the inside were all gone. They were metal chairs and tables outside but there were still snow on the ground. Inside of the building was extremely hot!!!

I will start by saying, as someone with 20+ years of retal/customer service experience I was completely unimpressed with the service at this location. I took my 3 children for a bite and a blizzard and not only did I have to repeat my order 3 times (and they still got it wrong) the young man taking my order seemed as interested in helping me as he would be watching paint dry. I spent over $40 on 6 dogs and 4 blizzards and even my 13 year old knew the service was less than desirable. Improve the service and I will gladly improve my rating.

Great service, fast, with very kind and cooperative workers. I recommend this DQ, the ice cream is amazing and so is the view outside. You can eat inside if wanted too. An awesome and loved DQ indeed.

I love dairy queen, this particular establishment people are not friendly. I ordered a butterfinger blizzard, it was just vanilla ice cream with maybe a teaspoon of butterfinger. Will not be going back to this dump!

The place was just remodeled very nice updates. A nice place to go and sit outside and have ice cream cone with the family.

I love their caramel sundaes. The caramel is warm, and plenty of whipped cream. The milkshakes are great, too.

Ridiculously slow service. Got stuck at the window after they swiped my credit card, for about 10 minutes, while the girl at the register asked her co-workers questions about how to use the point of sale system. My kids ice creams were on the counter and they refused to give them to me even though I had paid minutes ago. It took so long I finally just asked for a refund. If you like being spoken to rudely in front of your kids and that youre inconveniencing a bunch of millenials, then this is the place for you! I never leave negative reviews, but this crosses the line.

I dont understand how they sell icecream and the temperature inside has got to be 100 degrees most uncomfortable wait ever but great icecream

Its dq. If you like dq, great. If you dont like dq, this place wont change your mind. A bit more expensive than some other dqs ($5.31 for blizzard vs others I have gotten for $4), but the staff is very vocal and expressive, making for a bit more fun experience.

I was there about 10:30 ish on Monday evening. There was no one in line and honestly I thought the place was closed it was so dark around the building. I ordered a salt and caramel medium blizzard . It took incredibly long considering they were servicing no one else. I saw about 6 people but only 2 of the 6 were actually working the rest where just chatting. The WORSE thing was the blizzard had stale product in it. It tasted terrible!! Had that been my first blizzard I never would have bought another one again. I normally frequent Dairy Queen in Winsted CT. The staff from East Hartford should take a trip west of them and see how product should be made and customers should be treated.
