Had been looking for a boat for months, which has been an extreme challenge with the pandemic driven high demand and low supply. I got lucky that Diamond Marine had financing fall through on the exact model Stingray I had been looking for.Alex King quickly helped me review all the options, pricing (a very fair one for this market) and a video call walk through of the boat. He then helped me work with Kathy in accounting to work up the purchase and all the documents required for registration while he also lined up transportation and delivery since I was an out of State buyer.Prior to delivery, I came up for a final walk through and training with Tom Massey from service who patiently answered my questions and showed me key operating and maintenance tips on the boat and motor. While there, I got a chance to meet Jenny in accounting, who took care of all the final signatures required as well as having short meeting with Mark Misbach, the GM, who prepared my final delivery package of manuals, warranty info, etc. and made sure I had met everyone and received everything I made the visit for.Leading up to delivery, Alex stayed in closed touch with me to nail down the best day and time for delivery and had the driver get in touch with me in advance. He also took care of getting my new registration numbers applied to the boat so that I didnt have to do that upon delivery. Plus, Mark checked in one more time to make sure I was all set.Darius, who made the delivery was on-time (actually early) and helped me make the final prep on the boat, assisted me with getting my boat lift ready, made a stop for me at the one place that has marine gas at a drive up pump and then got me launched safely.All in all, the Diamond Marine was great from start to finish. A responsive, knowledgeable and friendly group of professionals that were a pleasure to work with. Kudos to Mark and his team!

Poorest family decision to date was putting our trust in Diamond Marine when buying a used center console. ‘22 Angler, 225 Evinrude Outboard — after turn-key assurances, $10k has been spent on necessary service to RUN the engine.We were lied to and worked. DO NOT buy your next boat from this shop. If you would like to discuss this experience in greater detail, please let me know. We’re furious. It’s been a money pit after 3 seasons. The boat never ran right. Today, after receiving a $3k service bill, we found out the batteries are 400+cranking amps short of the bare minimum to run an engine this size, which has only perpetuated a lengthy list of starting issues: starter replaced, new fly wheel..etc., etc.

I traveled 3 hours from upstate NY to buy from Karl and his team at Diamond Marine. I was in the retail auto business for 4 decades and I know about how important good dedicated employees are to the business. My dealings with everybody was fantastic. And because of the pandemic, they don’t need to be nice to sell boats, but they are!

Our 33 year old Grady White 228G Seafarer was in need of a complete overhaul as well as a re-powering in order to be a well found and safe vessel for our son and daughter-in-law to use. My wife and I also purchased an aluminum trailer for “Ariel” from Diamond Marine in addition to the many months it took to complete the extensive overhaul of all of the Grady’s components that could possibly fail while out on the high seas. Her outboard engine was upgraded from its original 34 year old 200 hp Yamaha to a newer 250 hp Evinrude. The Evinrude required some repairs but ultimately wound up running exceedingly well during sea trials, and its stainless steel prop did not need replacing. All elastomeric components were replaced with new ones, and “Ariel” was outfitted with a host of brand new navionic instruments. The technicians at Diamond Marine masterfully installed these new components including a VHF and AM/FM stereo radio system aboard her. No visible wires, all work - neat, clean and ultra-professional. Service Manager, Mr. Tom Massey, was ever responsive to my questions and outfitting requests, treating me respectfully and honestly. He oversaw the entire lengthy project culminating in an outcome that far, far exceeded our expectations! “Ariel” is very much now a “new” boat and ready for use were it not for a long awaited nationally back ordered electronic component which just finally arrived. Needless to say we are thrilled with our Grady now, and plan to give her to our son and daughter-in-law and their family so that they can begin to enjoy their leisure time boating. In sum, the folks at Diamond Marine have been super, especially Tom Massey their Service Manager, the outcome fantastic, and the cost very fair. It’s too bad that my son and his family do not live nearby to continue to benefit from Diamond’s services and expertise. We certainly value their services and confidence rendered greatly! We couldn’t ask for better!!

I’m extremely happy with Diamond Marine!! I bought my new 2020 219fs there and towed it 5.5hrs home last year(Syracuse NY). Then decided to bring it back to them for winter storage and installation of a bow mount trolling motor. Tom in the service department is a stand up guy and goes the extra mile to make you happy. He took pictures and sent them to me to make sure everything that they were doing was exactly what I wanted before drilling/cutting. They are the only people I want working on my boat!

Purchased a trailer over the phone on Tuesday and scheduled a time for Saturday to pick it up. I asked if they could also add the spare tire and mounting bracket, they said it would all be done and ready for Saturday. Arrived Saturday morning and the went out to see the trailer with the salesmen. There was no spare tire or bracket on the trailer. No problem, he said he would put it on right away, which is exactly what he did. While we were waiting for that to be installed, I purchased a few more parts for my boat and paid for everything.... almost 5k in cash. We go outside hook the trailer up go over everything and notice that I needed an adapter for the plug. “It’s only 15 dollars” i explained that I had just spent almost 5k in cash but they couldn’t give me the adapter? All in all the experience was average. Didn’t get the feeling that my business mattered to them. Average customer service and organization

So i had the honor of working with the best at Diamond marine on a venture trailer i bought. Not only was the trailer as good quality as stated but the service was impeccable. Everything was exactly as stated . They swapped my boat off the old trailer and put it on the new one without putting a scratch on my 32 sunsation SS, then proceeded to balance the weight perfectly with precision accuracy lining up and adjusting the trailer bunks. I was looking for a particular pre-owned boat that had to be in excellent condition, and Diamond Marine had one listed that seemed very clean. Pictures are not always reliable, but when I saw the boat in person, it was virtually flawless...amazing considering that it is 20 years old!I was greeted in person by Karl Muller, one of the owners. As an experienced businessman myself, I was genuinely impressed by Karls sales approach: very straight talk, answers to all my questions, and absolutely no pressure tactics. We agreed on a sale based on a future sea trial, but I already had high confidence in dealing with Karl.Since then, I have related to Tom Massey, the manager, on numerous occasions to prepare many details before taking out the boat. Now, as a first-time power boat owner, I was treated to an invaluable two hours of training at sea. Both Karl and Tom have gone overboard in providing me with extras to fill out everything I need. I was planning on posting a simple thumbs up review of our experience with Diamond Marine, but after seeing the most recent reviews I felt I needed to write a little more than usual as My wife and I are the purchasers of the Sea Hunt.I would not hesitate to purchase another boat from Diamond Marine. The owner (Karl) was completely honest with us about everything. He said that someone else was interested so we ponied up and put down a deposit.We arrived late morning so, if someone else truly wanted the boat more than us they could have gotten it.The boat is great shape and I can see being upset, but I wouldn’t call a business that does not take a deposit over the phone as being dishonest or worse yet ”crooks”. If anything it shows how honest they are.If I had a business I would not take a deposit from someone who hasn’t seen what it is I’m selling in person because there is a chance that the person would back.The review actually made me feel better because i know that he wasn’t lying about the other buyer just to sell the boat.A great boat at a great price from an honest business. I purchased my used 26 ft Miami Steiger boat pictured here last Spring from Diamond Marine. The transaction was smooth, and the deal was fair.In July of last year I experienced a problem with a faulty power head on one of the engines. The motors were out of warranty, and I was forced to pay the $10,000 repair bill.I attempted to be reimbursed from the motor manufacturer but I encountered some resistance. I pursued the issue with the assistance of an attorney. There were a series of questions and exhibits I had to produce for the manufacturer. Tom Massey at Diamond was tremendously helpful in explaining the reason for the failure, producing the actual part that caused the failure, and writing a letter explaining his assessment and analysis of the problem.A year after I began the process for reimbursement, I was contacted by the manufacturer who agreed to reimburse me for the total amount I spent for the repairs. Without the assistance and support I received from Diamond Marine, I would still be out $10,000 to this day.I know several other people who have purchased boats from Diamond, and who also use Diamond to service their boats. To a person, I have never heard any negative comments regarding the level of service that Diamond delivers....... Doug MacDonald

Just picked up my 2019 Yamaha VX Limited jet-ski from Diamond Marine this past weekend. Tom, Bob, and Carl were very helpful and professional through the entire process. They answered all the questions I had and gave me a lot of great advice, as Im a first time jet-ski/boat owner. I ordered bluetooth speakers to go on my jet-ski and had to wait about a month for them to be delivered, which was not a problem at all. They called me promptly when they were installed on my ski. The speakers look and sound great. If myself or my family decide to get another jet-ski, it will be from Diamond Marine. Highly recommend Diamond Marine and their staff!

Went to check out a Sea Hunt for my brother who lived an hour away and I live 5 minutes away. My brother spoke to them in the morning was on his way to see the the boat and was 35 minutes out from Diamond Marine. I spoke to the sales man and asked if I could put a deposit down for my brother until he arrived and he said no you do t have to your brother will get first chance at the deposit. In the meantime someone else walked in to look at the boat, knowing my brother was not far from being there and he just told me don’t worry about putting a deposit down ( I have a witness) when my brother arrived they already took a deposit from somebody else and said to him “sorry “. Totally sneaky dishonest sales people as I was told by many people in the area but it took first hand to see it happen and the owner was well aware of this and did nothing . Pretty unprofessional business In fact extremely “shady” place, stay far away!

Was having significant difficulty with my boat trailer. When I stopped in at Diamond, I met with and discussed several options with the DM team from repairing my current trailer to buying a new trailer and even options for a new boat altogether (I asked :)). Ultimately, I wound up purchasing a new trailer, which I am, so far, very pleased with. Best part of the experience was that even though I am a bit small time in the boating universe, I was treated with respect and was not exposed to an intimidating high-pressure sales push. I was simply presented with my options, and allowed to choose what was right for me at that time. Outstanding customer service! I bought a used boat (via the internet) from Diamond due to their well established customer service record and BBB membership. I was not disappointed. From the initial sale through post-purchase follow-up, these professionals demonstrated a level of customer service rarely seen today. The initial purchase went smoothly and it was a pleasure working with sales manager Mark. I was unable to pick up the boat immediately, so Kathy, the registration/title person coordinated temporary storage for me at Diamond. When I was able to pick up the boat, both Mark and service manager Tom were there to personally go over the boat equipment and functions with me and help me hook the boat and trailer up to my truck. I put my boat on the lake and experienced an unforeseen throttle operation issue. Tom diagnosed the problem and owner Karl approved covering the cost of repair. Id been shopping Key West boats through dealers in my area. Visited the dealer in Hampton Bays, nice people but Hamptons name and Hamptons prices. Visited Seamans Marine on Hawley PA., a great dealership but didnt have the model I wanted. I found Diamond Marine, I called and the owner almost immediately returned my call, we talked numbers and models (he had the DFS I wanted in stock) and I took a ride up there. I sat with the owner, he showed me the boat, I took it for a test ride and after a little negotiating we agreed on options and a price. The owner, Karl kept me updated via phone calls and emails (including pictures) during the entire process. I also spoke several times with their Service Manager Tom, another Gentleman very dedicated to doing his job. Went on a Saturday morning to pick up the boat, it was bright, shiny and prepped perfectly. The paperwork process went very smoothly and everything was in order. Tom patiently answered all my questions and I trailered the boat (on my newly purchased Venture trailer) the 85 miles home. Since then I have had a couple of VERY minor issues and Tom has been exceptional in his handling of these issues, THAT right there is very important to me. Its very easy for a dealer to be great BEFORE the purchase but its how a dealer performs AFTER the purchase (when they already have your money) that really counts. Diamond Marine has been exceptional in every aspect of this purchase and I would highly recommend them. In a few years when I am ready to trade up Diamond Marine will be where Im going. And for service, even though its a bit of a drive for me because of Toms professionalism I will be returning my boat to them. GREAT job Diamond Marine!

The sales is not to be trusted. Went to buy a boat ask if he needed a deposit before I drove down an hour and a half. Said no you have first choice. Got there and they sold it to someone else. Play me against the other buyer. Not a place you can trust. Lied to my face when I was there. Owner was not much better said nothing he could do they dont take a deposit over the phone. Crooks!!!

Im going to go along with the guy who said they are crooks. I bought a used Suzuki DF-6 engine and brought it straight to Diamond Marine for service as they are the local dealer. They gave it a clean bill of health and charged me a couple of hundred dollars for their time. I got it into the water and it doesnt run at idle. Craps out after 20 minutes every time. Opened the cover, and found hoses that had no clamps, hoses falling out of fittings. Engine likely needs a new carb. Too bad these guys didnt tell me any of this. Risked my life and my familys lives stalling out whenever we really needed the engine. Im now bringing the engine to a real repair shop. These guys work out of a shopping mall in East Haven, CT. I would look for another alternative if you are using them for service.
