Recently moved here from the Winchester VA area and this was my first visit to the Lansing Costco. It was fine and I was able to get what I needed. I was a bit surprised that it was smaller than the previous Costcos Ive been in.I was disappointed in trying to purchase fuel for my car. I tried twice and was not able to get the pump to work. I tried getting someone to help me but no one responded to the help button. The pumps are very confusing for a first time user. Maybe Ill have better luck next time.

Great store. I love shopping here. I always pick up some frozen food and daily needs supplies. What I especially like is the check out. Its one line with workers directing you to the next available cashier. The line seems long but moves quickly. This way any one waiting on line with a problem customer is not held up. Highly recommend!

Great selection of products, especially the staples like King Arthur flour, eggs, milk, coffee beans. Large bags of snack items are usually only a little more than the smaller bags at other stores. Unbelievable prices on their store brand alcohol. They just recently added 6 self scan lanes to make check out easier.

This is a great store. It is very easy to find what you need.

Always fun to see and buy new thing, I didnt even know I needed 😉 I am amazed at how fast the checkout lanes move. Very efficient!! The gas prices alone are worth the membership.

This is a great Costco! For the most part, not too busy but when it is people are generally friendly and not pushy. Staff is very helpful and kind. We are missing the tamales and green chile we used to get at Costco in Denver, CO. I wish we could get it here! (Hint, hint!)

Big store, busy, nothing wrong with the store but MAN CAN PEOPLE JUST CHILL OUT? Every time I go here I encounter some form of rude customers: cutting lines, park their cart wide in the middle of the isle, pushing cart and hit my wife on the way out where store attendent is checking our receipt. Lets please be mindful and respectful to each other.

We love the bakery and deli products. The store is always clean and organized, if you know where something is you can get it quickly. They always seem to have things stocked. The staff is always very nice. Best part of Costco: the pizza. Its a great deal ($10)!

Great wholesale establishment. Corporate cares about their employees with high wages and great benefits. Everyone is very kind and if you shop here a lot, and get the highest tier membership over the course of the year, the cash-back rebate will pay for your membership. I get around $115-$150 in rebate each year which pays for the highest level membership. Great place.

Costco is always good and clean. The staff are very helpful and polite. In general I would say Costco is better than Sam’s Club in quality and prices. I have heard from my friend that used to work for them that Costco treats employees very well and that is another big plus for Costco.

Great service and great prices if you watch what you want/need.The liquor and cheeses cannot be beat.

This Costco was so much less busy than ones I go to in OR. Super easy to navigate and great sales. Tire Center employee tried to decompress the customer service line by assisting with needs. Great teamwork!

I really like the service they provide. Couple weeks ago I bought outdoor furniture. The workers were really helpful to help me load the boxes inside my car. I really appreciate their help!

They have the best deals on bulk items such as t.p and paper towels to, Korean jerky!

Love their selections of organic foods. I love that there are regular sales on my favorite items. Im a fan from produce to gasoline...also a good discount, pretty much the least expensive in our area.

Always fun at Costco. But I wish they wouldnt rush you at checkout especially when you have to bag/box your own purchases.

I love Costco. My favorite item is the Spinach Salad. Its a great place to buy toilet paper and paper towels and other large quantity items

This costco seems huge but from other costcos Ive been to this one had nothing I usually purchase. Milk was in the cooler isles instead of in a cooler room like other stores. The pastry area was so small and had a small section of pastries. Overall I got enough of what I needed but will definitely be sticking to the Brighton location.

We love COSTCO! All of the Kirkland brand items are top-notch. Havent found anything yet that was sub-par. I especially love the medium roast coffee. I cant tell the difference between Kirkland brand and Green Mountain Nantucket Blend.

I went there for the first time with my husband last week. Its a nice place and easy to spend alot of money. I noticed soE pricing was pretty high. I can find better deals on many things on Amazon.

Went for the tire center today and they exceeded my expectations. Fantastic service and fairly quick too, only took around an hour for all four tires replaced!

You cant go wrong with Costco but plan on spending lots of money. You go for one item and leave with more than you planned. Dont forget to get your $1.50 hot dog and drink. They have very good pizza and baked chicken to go. Lots of good wines to chose from. Can get pre-made meals to take home to bake. The seasonal items are limited so if you see something you want buy now because they will rub out.

I only buy my dog food from there, but other than that the people have always been really nice to me

The stores is GREAT, but, they changed the tofu brand and the new one is not that great. It comes as hard as a rock and doesnt taste good. Other than that this is a store worth getting a membership card.

Look its a warehouse style store. Its not meant to be a destination. Prices are good, prepared items tasty, and the service is good if you can find it. Added self checkout. Not a fan. It has its quirks, but once you figure them out its just shopping. Nice addition to shopping choices in the area.

Rude employee at self check out. The most interesting thing is that I didnt ask her for help; she just decided to impose her negative self on me. No thanks hun! She needs to find a job that doesnt involve interacting with people and work on brushing up on her social skills.

I give one star for today only! This package of burned chicken legs is what I received from Costco when I had someone pick me up prepared food from there. They bought it because they knew that they could pick me up something different later if I didn’t want it. They plan to return it when my car is ready and Costco WILL take it back or I will continue advertising this horrible mistake that the manager allowed!

Costco is a great place to shop provided you stick to your shopping list. It has broad selection of name branded products as well as its own Kirkland branded items. There are certain items that are not. Cost competitive, particularly fresh fruits. The companys warranty coverage for electronics and kitchen appliances is the best. The return policy about the best there is.

Costco was great and im in a wheelchair and the staff was super friendly. The place was very clean. Highly recommended!

A relatively new Costco location. Its always busy but the store is well organized and everything is spaced well to accommodate the shopper traffic. The store and displays are kept clean and neat. Associates are friendly and helpful, and its impressive how rapidly things move. Watch and be amazed at checkout when your whole cart is scanned and your total is ready in less than a minute! This location exemplifies the high efficiency standards the company as a whole is renowned for.

I was so excited to get a Costco here a few years back. The workers always seem pleasant and helpful, and its pretty easy to find things and get help if you need it. Ive used their tire center and eye center too, and both are good value.

The produce guy is the worst employee I’ve ever encountered. He’s super rude. He clearly hates his job. I wouldn’t have to move boxes to get the fresh produce if he did his job and removed the moldy produce off of the top. The way he stares at female customers makes me very uncomfortable. Something needs to be done about him.

The fresh produce here is always so gross. The employees are very rude especially the man from produce; he just stands there staring at me the entire time. On multiple occasions I have seen him move to view me from behind which is completely inappropriate. I will not be renewing my Costco membership, here’s a pic of the tomatoes I brought home from here.

Holy Grail Costco, why you ask??? Because it has the never seen before 3 pump gas lines at its gas station! Besides that, its super clean and bright, plenty of easy parking, items havent been picked over. No wait lone at the tire center. This is a really nice Costco.

My first shopping experience inside the store (I usually just buy gas). Took me a minute to find what I was looking for, but goods are logically placed so it was pretty quick.

I had a PHENOMENAL experience here. 10/10 would recommend. I will definitely be back!! Jeremy was ABSOLUTELY amazing, he called me bright and early and got me in as soon as he could and took care of my issue. Calvin and Mike were also great! They were understanding and accommodating. Everyone at the tire center were absolute jems.

OMGOSH Costco has the best Gluten Free Cheese pizza !! ( in the frozen area) also found Gluten Free bread that actually makes a great grill cheese sandwich.There metal pin wheels are amazing, wind chimes huge i say and good priced. Just have to check it out for yourself 😊 you may find more then you were looking for # Imeanido 🤷‍♀️

The best experience. Knowing they treat their employees with dignity and respect and pay them a living wage, it makes feel better spending my dollars there.

My husband and I joined for the first time about two weeks ago, it was everything we thought it would be. However, when getting our membership we were pressured by now one salesperson but by two even after saying no repeatedly the second man wouldnt stop until my husband said something

If I can give a 10 star rating I would. I’d say I spent almost all my money here but I am happy. Especially for this Costco location, I can even call it a Costco outlet and the best Costco ever (I have been to many Costco state and worldwide)! So many good deals that can save you a ton! Even though you still end up spend a ton but you will be pleased. Most staff are friendly and attentive as well. I shop there twice a week and am still deeply in love with it. I could shop there everyday if I get time. They really do a great job on product selection and make them good and incomparable deals. They also have some good Asia food selections with very fair price. Plus, this costco location is very clean and organized! Never disappoints me ever!

First we would like to say we are truly sorry employees have had to deal with completely selfish looky-loos who refuse to care about the health of their neighbors and families with a simple piece of fabric. We have truly appreciated how wonderful this store has been to shop at but it is especially appreciated during this past year. We would like to say THANK YOU for taking our health and safety seriously while making it as comfortable as possible to shop. The quality is always great and the service here is spot on.

This store has gradually increased its product selection. Tire sales & service was very good. Not always easy to find someone to answer a question. Some products change location by some distance. An item might appear gone; but has just been moved. Normally fast and easy chk out. No more self chk out. Restrooms are usually clean. The small fast food area is usually very quick and pretty good (for what you can get). The gas station has many pumps. Usually can get thru in pretty short order.

Costco is well known for selling mass quantities at bargain prices. I will not belabor that point. What I will advise is that you shop.selectively. Not everything is a great deal. Do your homework and compare prices. Truly make sure that you will really use all of that perishable item before it spoils. Its no bargain if it goes to waste. The other thing I want to point out is, the top notch customer service. Ive worked in the customer service field more years than I care to admit. Im very difficult to please. Costco has never failed to exceed my expectations. My number one tip? The gas. If you do nothing but get gas there it will pay for your membership in savings by itself.

Costco is always CLEAN! Have to get my roasted chicken while there plus a few other goodies!

I enjoy shopping here, they have a lot of really good deals and the atmosphere is actually quite nice. If they had a garden center I would say goodbye to most other big box stores.

Costco has devolved into Sams Club.The one reason I decided to get a memebership st Costco is that they didn’t line you up like cattle after you purchased your 300 dollars worth of goods. They didn’t power trip at the door and demand to see your receipt and proceed to rifle through your already purchased goods while taking their good time.That day has ended. Last trip I waited in line 5 minutes while the one check out lady took each receipt and continued to scramble through everyone’s already purchased items making sure every single item was there. I had an order of five things and she demanded to unpack my neatly packed box of goods to make sure I wasn’t stealing anything.Costco…..you continually ask me to upgrade my membership because I spend so much. I already buy 150 dollars worth of prescriptions there as well. I’ve already bought appliances.Do you really think after spending thousands st your store I’m going to steal something the size of a paperback book?When I asked the lady why she had to mess up my neatly packed box of goods when she can see everything right there without touching it, she gave me the typical SAMS CLUB power trip.You know the one. The one where they have never had control of their life on the 50 years they’ve been alive, and now decide to exercise authority over you since an assistant manager told them they need to.The 55 year old lady replied with attitude, “That’s the way it is sir!”Costco. You just lost your yuppie, more upscale branding. You sunk to sams club level. You will soon be a big Walmart if you keep going in this direction.Costco has some neat items. Costco is like Sams where MOST things aren’t really a deal. They just appear to be a deal because they are in bigger boxes. I’ve price checked Costco compared to Meijer. You have to really work to save money if you’re simply there for groceries.Costco makes you pay for a membership. You need to save that cost in cheaper goods in order to make it worth while. Meijer has cheaper prices AND their Mperks club gives you free money and savings and coupons.The yuppies love Costco because it’s fun. They do have nice meat. It’s cheaper at Meijer though. NY strip is 13 bucks a pound at Costco. 9.99 a pound at Meijer (minus covid beef prices). For 12 a pound I often get porterhouse at Meijer, and they sometimes go on sale for 6 bucks a pound.Costco can be a good deal. But if I’m going to be humiliated and accused of stealing like Sams Club does, then I’ll cancel my membership. This is EXACTLY why I quit Sams club. The prices weren’t comparable to Meijer stiff on sale with Mperks, and the door nazis irritated the hell out of me.Costco=The New Sams Club

I mean what is there to say it is your typical everyday Costco. Good selection of meats and other products. Busier in middle of the day as most Costco’s. One downside is the gas station has no diesel fuel. With the addition to more vehicles that are using diesel engines I would have thought with this being a newer location that there would be diesel available.
