I took my 12 string in for new strings and just gone over to make sure everything was right. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. They set my guitar up for a very reasonable price. I’m completely satisfied and will happily return.

I’ve never shopped here before but my dad bought an electric drum set from DC Music about a year ago. My dad used to play drums in his childhood. He has dementia now so we thought buying a drum set would give him something to keep him busy, something to tinker with. The gentleman my dad bought the drum sets from were kind enough to go to his house to put it together for him. A couple months later I noticed for some reason the set was disassembled. My dad has told me for months now that he’s been “workin on getting it back together”. I finally called DC music to ask if someone could go to my dads house to assemble the drum set for my dad. I explained the situation. The man on the phone was so kind and understanding of my dads situation. Unbeknownst to me, he knew my dads name because my dad calls there periodically asking for assistance with his drums. He told me they have gone to my dads home on 2-3 occasions to assemble the drum set and each time my dad has disassembled it. I had no idea!! He was so understanding of the situation and even offered to meet me at my dads home to show me how to assemble it if I cannot figure it out myself. He never once complained or made me feel embarrassed of my dads situation. I’m so grateful for people like him and the other employees at DC music for not treating my dad like he’s crazy and completely disregarding him. Instead the showed him kindness and treated him like a human being, and I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart! Thank you!

Ive bought a few things at DC with no pressure. Recently I had a electrical problem with my acoustic guitar and I needed it right away for church. They got right on it and fixed it while I went to the grocery store. Zach stayed on it until he figured out the problem and was super friendly and put up with me. I know I can be annoying sometimes. This facility has anything you could want in instruments, lessons, sound equipment and musical advice. If they dont have a particular item they will order it for you. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.Thank you for helping with the needs of the church.

Great prices, and amazing return policy too. I bought a guitar, got home and it was broke. Went back and it took less than 5 minutes for me to walk out with a full replacement that works like a charm. Sometimes things break in shipping and these guys will make it right for you. Great choice when it comes to a good music shop.

I bought my son a guitar there and he has taken lessons since 2018. It looked like so much fun that I bought a guitar too, then started lessons as well. Then COVID hit the nation. No problem! The store offered Skype lessons! They were awesome! Dylan Mays (the guitar teacher) does an excellent job providing online education. Currently, both my son and I are back in the store taking in person lessons. Personally, I prefer the Skype sessions, because I can review the video later in the week. But I’m back in the store to encourage my 11 year old and my work schedule changed.

This is a perfectly placed music store. Its convenient and the service is unbeatable. The employees are always helpful and the wide selection is a great way to try out different guitars and gear. I would recommend this store to anyone musically inclined.

We have been looking for a Yamaha keyboard package for our daughter. DC Music had a great selection at varying price points. They were very helpful and even put together an amazing bundle deal to compete with an online entity. We were also happy to learn they provide music lessons. Pricing is very competitive and a bit lower than most local teachers. We could not be more pleased with our experience and will return.

I just picked up a new Ibanez 12 string from them last week. Though there were a couple snags of getting it to the store (More the fault of shipping and import issues than anything DC Music wise). But I finally have it and love it! The entire crew there is knowledgeable and willing to take the time to get you exactly what you want. Great selection of fine instruments. I highly recommend them, and they will likely source any future music needs I may have.

D.C. Music is a way overpriced store that is only open because of their overpriced lessons that kids go to because they have no other place to go. I walk in and there is one other customer in the store and I receive no help. I needed a chord to plug in the bass I was thinking about purchasing but again, I received no help. I was also excited to buy this guitar I had planned to buy only to see that D.C. Music leaves their instruments at a very expensive price. I think they could thrive if they got new staff and lowered prices on everything not to mention their small selection of instruments that leave me dissappointed when I cant find an instrument thats not what it am looking for.

My daughter takes lessons from Joel. He is a great teacher and the staff here is very nice and very helpful.

This local business is a joke. Items a overpriced and they will rip you off in a heartbeat. They have gotten me twice and there won’t be a 4th time. 1st time I took them some of my equipment to be fixed. They sent it away to be fixed and I never got them back. The 2nd time I put something on Layaway with them and I couldn’t afford to keep paying on the items. I told the worker at the time that I wanted my money back and that I wasn’t going to be able to do it. The owner talked away and said he would help me out with it. He sure did help me, about a month later I went back in to cancel my layaway and they canceled it and also took all the money that was put towards my layaway. It’s a shame that I now have to go to Beaver Falls or Boardman to get help with all my musical needs.
