Nice clean place. Dakota was very helpful with our order. Nemesio gave suggestions for combinations we could use since they discontinued the chocolate covered coffee beans. Very nice team at this location. Would come back. Just an FYI, no drive through.

I enjoy your coffee store so lot. It was incredibly orderly and neat. There is also lots of seating. The owner and his handpicked personnel provided exceptional service, which prompted me to return. The coffee and tea pots were both delicious. That makes me really pleased! A fantastic coffee shop with a fantastic atmosphere! It is strongly recommended for everyone!

Customer service not too much to say the lady that took my order was to rude n rushing me even if i was the only Customer in the store. I know that they tired i just wanna go home. But come on people at least try to be nice with customer

This is our all time favorite. Would eat here every day if possible. Every item on the menu is a special treat. Every meal we have had here has been great. We hope they dont get too busy so we can be seated promptly. Normally a restaurant this good would require reservations and you would expect to wait for the privilage. The staff are all exceptionally friendly

Convenient location! All the staff are friendly and quick with their service!I typically order thru the app and my drinks are ready for me at the pick up table.Hungry for a snack? You can’t go wrong with a cheese bagel with cream cheese!The parking lot is small but there’s always plenty of parking since the plaza is on the rather quiet side.I’ve always found parking no matter what time and day or day of the week.No drive thru at this location but I wish there was one!

I love this coffee bean for a quick caffeine fix. This taste nothing like Starbucks and that’s what makes it taste so good. Everyone here is also usually really friendly and the space is always clean. If you also want to study or just sit down and read a book, this is the place you want to go to. New to Boyle Heights, I needed a spot to take the kids once in a while to get some treats. It is a nice drive down Cesar Chávez or 1st St heading east.I enjoy the drinks. The environment is nice. They have a nice area inside that can be full of students and professional personnel from across the street. Seems like a local favorite. Across the street is the East LA courthouse, Sherrie station, and the clinic.Warm, iced, or ice blended drinks are good. I mean, come on, were talking about Coffee Bean! Personal favorites: White Chocolate Latte Hot on cold days. White chocolate ice blended on hot days. Horchata is good as well.The staff is amazing. They greet and make you feel welcome.Recommendations? White Chocolate....but everything is good. Give it a try...if you didnt like it...at least you can scratch it off. To each their own.Thank you.

Always clean, always fast. Delicious coffees! BEST blended coffee hands down. Not chunky like Starbucks. CB&Ts are smooth and delicious, like the best parts of a milkshake and a slushy! Try the vanilla!

Second time coming to this cafe and loved the service and the drinks. I ordered a hazelnut iced coffee, the taste was very satisfying. The atmosphere of the store is also relaxing and its a great place to study. Definitely going back.

Ive visited this coffee shop a few times now since its so close to the duck pond where Ive been doing some work. Employees are always very nice and friendly. The store is clean. Nice place to stop in for a pick me up in East Los Angeles.

I was just inside this location. The barista didnt want to give me the code to the restroom she said I needed a receipt if not I wouldnt be able to use the restroom. Its not like they keep up with the restroom. Its always dirty. Also if you want water or an extra cup youre going to have to pay 25 cents

Ive been a patron of this location quite a while. I find its rarely crowded but still manages to maintain a feeling of community thanks to the awesome service provided here. Youll find a nice place to study or read inside if you dont mind the relatively noisy space. Outside can also be nice if its not too cold or too windy. Overall my favorite place to get a fancier cup of coffee or tea in East Los Angeles.

I could write a review on the lattes alone, they are THAT good.However, I was tipped off by a local that they make a killer veggie breakfast burrito, and boy do they!Protip: Call ahead to place your order. The baristas need time to perfect the steamed milk magic so it wouldnt hurt to give them a head start. Definitely call if youre thinking of trying the food.

This Coffee Bean location has a good amount of space to enjoy a coffee alone or to meet with friends.

The experience was as usual in a coffee chain shop. Although the newbie in training seemed stressed, but its to be expected. The problem is with the outside seating. The shop shares a common area with a deli and it seems neither one claims responsibility for cleaning the chairs, tables or concrete. A shame. Perhaps the landlord should walk the property instead of just collecting the rent.

Someone I know went to this coffee shop, asking for 3 iced americanos and an iced chocolate. He is from korea, and his pronunciation of everything seemed perfectly fine. But they gave him a hot chocolate instead. As if messing up his order isnt enough, they made him wait for 10 minutes just to order the drinks. This bothers me quite a bit. The drinks here arent bad, but the service leaves much to be desired. Personally, I dont think I will be going there anymore.

This coffee place has some of the best teas, coffees, pastries, sandwiches, salads, and workers. Shhhhh! Dont tell Starbucks, it might hurt their bottom line. Their genmaicha tea is incredibly tasty...or if were being a little less dramatic, it is aromatic and flavorful too. This place is so worth your visit: calm, relaxing, and inspiring. Come on over; right across from the East LA courthouse if you are in the neighborhood.

I made the mistake of asking how many calories were in the tea because it tasted so good. I choked when I was told 250. I really enjoyed it, though. Grilled Cheese and Spinach on a roll was also very good.

Meh. Thats how I felt when I walked in. Its basically a haven for hipsters and the like. Coffee isnt anything special. May come back to give it a try but not highly likely.

I love going to a place where everybody greets you by name and makes you feel like a true community. And ofcourse the coffee is the best in town!

The staff here seems like they don’t want to work. Taking off and putting on their apron after every order. Which they get wrong. When I asked them to remake it, they tried to charge me, which I knew they shouldn’t do according to company policy. When they made it again, they still got it wrong and gave me attitude. Plus they were slow.

I drink coffee everyday, and I usually got it from Starbucks because it is in front of my work, but this Coffee Bean is on my way to the office. One day I stop by, and the cashier was really rude, I order a regular coffe, but I forgot to mention the size. The cashier gave me the regular coffee, (medium size), and I clarify that I wanted the small size, she remarked that I said regular coffee. I excuse my self, and I told her that I meant about the type of coffee, she remarked again that I said regular coffee. She had with her a pre-fill small coffee, and she got the medium coffee back, and give me the pre-fill small coffee. Her face and attitude was the worst.This kind of situations NEVER happen to me in Starbucks! This was the first and last time I stop by this Coffee Bean, even it is most convenience for me. I prefer make lines in Starbucks instead of received an unfriendly and rude service.
