Customer service was great I bought a total of 8 CDs and I got one free for filling up my car gets serviced and they help me find what I needed in and out real quick

Been going to this store for at least 30 years. And I always come out with something new or old. Great oldies record store, but also a nice collection of latin, funk, jazz, hop hop & rock.

This is nostalgic... a true record store. Everytime Im back in East Los Angeles I stop in and buy a shirt a few stickers and couple 45s . if we dont, theyll disappear like all the rest! Dont let it happen here... Stop in, show some love ...

Great variety of items, not just music. The store also has a small exhibit about activist Ruben Salazar which is pretty cool.

Cool little shop. Specializes in Chicano oldies, rock en español, and classic rock. Have scored a few gems here and finding those cool dj mixes (kroq, Rock en tu idioma, deep house) always makes me happy. The employees here are pleasant too. Just hope this store is able to stay open as they were priced out of their last location, where it was where they became the neighborhood music staple. Sadly, their Norwalk location did close, which was a shame. A great place to hunt for vinyl.

I went in 3 times today and Memo and another older gentlemen gave my Dad and i great costumer service great selection on oldies posters etc. I strongly reccomend coming here.

Sounds of Music always has those hard to find rare underground oldies great employees and staff working at the East Los Angeles and Paramount CA locations. Been going to Sounds of Music for 20 years both locations are Firme. 😎
