I’ve realized that most CVS stores are terrible and people only shop at them for convenience. That’s the only reason I do. They hire people that are slow and incompetent, and everything is overpriced. The same(exact) summer themed pineapple cups etc. that I bought at cvs for $6 were all sitting on the shelf at the Dollar store for a $1. Thank god I don’t use their pharmacy or I think I would lose it. I called this particular CVS location the other day because it’s location was more in route of the direction I was going. I needed to print out pictures. I asked on the phone if they had a photo kiosk available to use and they said yes, so I said I would come in. I get there and walk up to the kiosk and see there is an error message on the screen. The lady who works in the front end of store(the same one I spoke to on the phone) not so helpfully says “it doesn’t work”. Well maybe that would of been a helpful thing to mention over the phone when I had just asked 10 minutes earlier if there was a kiosk I could use. I mean really common freaking sense. You can’t assume anything with these people. I guess I should of asked are they working? But I figured that would of been redundant.
I’ve been going to the same CVS Pharmacy for years. They have some people who are cool. All the sudden they’re giving me a problem filling my script. Mind you it’s non narcotic. They told me the doc needs to call a refill, he did. Then they say the dose is high!?? I’m switching pharmacy!! Truly disappointed
When they tell your migraine meds are available but won’t break the box as directed. They then ask you to cover the remaining 2 for $276 and you’re like yeah noooo…
Pharmacy staff and pharmacists incompetent and rude. Do not recommend
So today at around 5:50 pm the cashier couldnt scan my cvs card via my phone. She stated its not valid. I told her I used it last time at the self-serve. Only the thing she could say was..Well Sorry!.So I asked her if she could punched in the numbers and she said no.With that being said I took my things and went to the self checkout. Low and behold.. it went thru. My 40% off went thru and my 32% off went thru.Imagine if I gave in to her and just purchased the products anyway and lose all that money? What really upset me was that she couldnt manually punch in the number.
I been coming to this cvs for over 10years and I never had a bad experience until today when I went to pick up my medicine there was a young girl that I have never seen before she had an attitude from the beginning, saying that my health insurance has been canceled and she didn’t want to help me and refused to help me.I asked to talk to her boss and her boss was able to give me my medication .For the record my health insurance has never been canceled I have insurance though my wife who’s in the medical field and we pay a lot of money for our health insurance for someone to tell us that our insurance has been canceled, very disappointed with this rude girl
My favorite CVS!! Love the staff and pharmacists
The staff at the front end of the store are always pleasant and helpful, they even remember my mom and ask how shes doing every time were in there. (We frequent this location a lot due to her illness, she has to pick up her Rx frequently and she refuses to switch locations due to the ease of the location and their longer hours.)And honestly I believe the hours and location are the only attributes keeping this location in business. The pharmacy staff is horrible. Im only giving 2 stars for the rest of the staff, if this was solely for the pharmacy Id give negative stars if I could. Theres been an issue every time Ive picked up prescriptions. There was one prescription I was without for 3 weeks due to their incompetence and laziness. I visited a total of 5 times for this one Rx and they told me it needed prior authorization, I called my Drs and insurance to verify, it didnt need it. Went again, they told me the same issue. By this fifth time I tried getting my Rx they told me they EMAILED my dr office for the authorization and they havent answered. I called my dr office right then and they said they dont use email in that manner and havent received anything from CVS and they should call. The tech Maria gave excuses when we asked if they could call the office for the authorization. Thats when I gave up and had them cancel it and had my Dr send it to the CVS in the Westbury Target. My Rx was ready in half an hour, with no issue at this different location.Another time I went through their drive thru to get my moms Rx. I made the mistake to leave the drive thru without double checking that I got my credit card back. I went back hoping the pharmacy still had it, thats when the tech from the drive-thru came up to the counter said that she threw it in the bag..... as in the brown paper shopping bag with all my Rxs she had given at the drive thru, which is a horrible practice and thats a cash wrap no no. A negligent bad habit is one thing but an attitude is another. I was nothing but nice when asking if they had my card, and the tech had such an attitude and kept repeating but I TOLD you it was in the bag and got so defensive and rude. I am not a confrontational person, and only asked if they had my card that I left. I wish I got her name but I just wanted to get out of there and be done with this place.I understand firsthand how hard it is to work retail especially during COVID, but its no excuse to be a b*tch towards your customers.
This is a great CVS. Everyone was so helpful. Great great great pharmacy.
Great great customer service. All CVS shd be like this one.
Went to this location a few nights ago with my boyfriend. I went up to the only associate, Joseph, working in the store to ask a quick question and I could see his eyes following my Jamaican boyfriend around the store. Since Joseph didn’t answer my question i said”hello?” And he just pointed me to a kiosk to print out my coupons. After printing my coupons I went to meet my boyfriend in the body wash aisle where I found the Joseph starring at my boyfriend and pretending to be fixing something. I guess when I came over it startled him so he walked away. But that didn’t stop Joseph from coming over and walking past us another 4/5 times in a matter of 5 minutes. Meanwhile the white couple on the other side of the store was not harassed like we were. Since some of the body washes have sensors, when we lifted one of the sensors it makes a loud sound to alert associates and this is when Joseph came running over to where we were ... still not saying a single word to us. When we went to another aisle for toothpaste, he followed us there too. Then when we were finally checked out and walking out of the store, he proceeded to FOLLOW US OUT OF THE STORE. Followed us and watched us walk to our car. HIS NAME IS JOSEPH AND HE NEEDS TO BE FIRED. I have never felt such disgust in a human being for being so discriminatory and assuming that since my boyfriend is black he will steal something. Again HE NEEDS TO GET FIRED.
Arguments with the pharmacy over health insurance. 1st time shame on you, 2nd time shame on me. Very very very disappointed with this location. Was also refused an emergency 3 day supply of medication. Which is very illegal
I have been coming here for months and giving this place the benefit of the doubt but I cant anymore. This is hands down the worst CVS on long island. They are so slow and clearly understaffed. This place needs new management. I am so fed up. The amount of time I spend here just waiting to pay for things or getting prescriptions is out of this world. Someone has to do something
When I placed a purchase their debit system froze up and charged me but two of their staff plus manager didnt know what to do. They said their system has been doing this for a while so I guess they never got it fixed. Instead I had to take it upon myself to call my bank and resolve the issue.
Shocked that this pharmacy denied coverage for a medication and when I called my insurance company, the claim was never even submitted! They just wanted me to spend the money for an over the counter drug. That small amount of money just cost CVS my business, and the other 5 people in my family. Horrible business decision on their part.
DisorganizedDo not order photos from this place. You have to wait on the same line as checkout just to be told they cant find your pictures and have to reprint. The ladies at the register at front are poorly trained. They need to be better organized. I offered to give order number but they refused to take it, saying they will find it by the size of the pictures, No such luck. I arrived home to find 4 pictures instead of the 5 total that i order. CVS retrained this people.
Andrew the pharmacist is amazing! I had forgotten my medication while traveling. I called CVS and Andrew arranged for enough medication to last the entire trip. He took care of everything and it was ready within an hour. I couldnt be more grateful!
We Lining USA not India
Great customer service even at 1am, very friendly staff. Approachable for any help, even if they are busy restocking the shelves. Thank yoU!
Items in the store are 20% to 75% more then they would cost in Wal-Mart, Target.Shop around know your prices. The service is slow, not very well trained personal. The pharmacy is a joke, slow and understaffed. Their always rushing, thats how mistakes are made. They need better staff
Nasty workers and store is a mess. On to a different CVS I guess.
Shame on you guys for disappointing children on Halloween. You promote Halloween so heavily to sell your products and make profit yet shy away from giving back to your nearby community and family/kids. I have disregarded your poorly organized store many times just to support a nearby store but this was the last straw. Never again.
Pharmacy has no idea what theyre doing. I am a diabetic and ran out of needles. The law is that you can get a bag of 10 without a script. Pharmacist refused them to me. I called a manager and he could care less. They are rediculous! Learn your job and the law. Thank you RITE AID for knowing the law and helping me to be able to get needles for my insulin! Wish I couldve given this cvs NO stars!
This CVS pharmacy has the rudest staff including the pharmacists. I would give zero stars if I could. The staff and management in the CVS store are pretty horrible too.
Photo guy walked up after we waited half an hour and said what up? Super unhelpful and kept telling us that we didnt have the right pictures to print. Wasted our time and clearly didnt care. Never coming back here.
I was told to patiently wait over 10 minutes for blank envelopes they forgot to put in my order in the first place....
One of the pharmacists was very rude over the phone today for the most ridiculous reason
Very slow service, refused my medicine, other times my doctor sent over a script and had me waiting 2 hours for just cough medicine. Not friendly staff at all! They pick and choose who to say hi too.
No help with photos at all, no one knew anything customers had to help us, lines all the time, j
Very busy, need more staff.
