This place is great. Very easy to access your unit and it’s temperature controlled.

I rented a locker at this location since 2013 the store much of the contents that was in my parents house. I live in Florida so the tremendous customer service provided by the staff Is the only reason we could survive from a remote location. I just closed out this locker and once again the tremendous support from Gary was critical tomorrow being able to come back to Long Island and clear out the locker in such a short period of time. It is obvious that I have a great impression of extra space storage because of their tremendous people!

Jon was great from move in to move out. Having to do this during COVID could have been challenging but it wasnt. My son needed a place to store his college stuff for the summer. The facility was clean, easy to locate and had everything we needed. Ample parking, dollies for moving items were always available and elevators were quick. It also has three-tier safety passcodes which made me feel even more secure. I highly recommend this location if you are looking for storage.

I reserved a rental space online at Extra Space Storage after looking at several other storage places. I received a message from James while I was in the area and called back had a conversation with Don the Manager. He was quite friendly and asked permission to ask questions. He asked what my goals were with storage, explained the options and invited me in. I went there and met both James & Don. They were both friendly and personable. Don taken me on a tour, explaining the security of the storage area and laid out the easiest way to get to my unit. After going through the process and signing a month to month lease Don allowed me to test my security code, explained the hours 6am to 10pm (which is more than enough time) asked if I had any additional questions, then thanked me for my business. I would highly recommend both James and Don for your affordable storage needs.

After my rate went up tremendously at another storage facility I shopped around and landed here. James was super helpful, and patiently answered all of my questions that I had. I was looking to rent a storage unit for a family member. I happened to stop in to ExtraSpace Storage and spoke with James Mallon the Store Manager. James was extremely helpful, took the time to go over the different options and even showed me a until to get an idea. I told him I was going to think about it and he said if I had any questions don’t hesitate to give him a call. I was so impressive with James’ professionalism, knowledge and that he made me feel comfortable I decided to place my family’s belongings there. I went back today and with the help of James I rented a unit for several months. I also had the pleasure of meeting Gary Mueller the Assistant Store Manager. He also was very professional and friendly. I believe with so many storage places to choose from some times the staff makes all the difference. I travel a LOT and dont have much free time. Gary Mueller (Assistant Manager) helped me get my storage unit, sign the contract, arrange payment and walked me through the entire process over the phone. First off let me start by saying I never write reviews this might be the second or third review I have ever filled out in my life....sooo my apartment burned down last Thanksgiving and not having a place to put all of my stuff that made it and needing to immediately move it I decided to move things to storage... everything started off normal regular courteous customer service.... THEN COVID HIT... And like most people I was out of work with minimal finances. So in the midst of not only looking for a new place to live now some sort of work... I would often push (or forget)... to pay my storage unit...sooooo on more than one occasion of my cell phone mailbox being full and them not being able to reach me.. The unbelievably and understanding assistant store manager Gary mueller had taken it upon himself to text me with his personal phone. to let me know that my unit was close to being auctioned and that I needed to pay... One time it was literally up for auction in I think it was two days or something.. well the amount was more than I could afford soooo GARY knocked down as many and as much fees as he could until I could make the payment and keep all of my belongings... I literally could write another three paragraphs but I know this is just a review so if you’re asking me if you should use extra space storage on Jericho Turnpike in East Northport.... I say 110% without question and if you get the pleasure of dealing with a Mr. gary mueller..JUST KNOW your belongings are in the best hands possible.!!!!!!!!

I feel i need to elaborate on this a little more because it was cheaper then some other places i checked. Good but was too expensive for me for the long amount of time it was needed. I wish they had special price deals on long term storage. The people that worked there were very helpful and nice.. I still give them a fair rating.. Only one star short of 5 stars because i had to move my stuff out early because it was getting to be expensive over the months..

After 5 or 10 minutes, I began to settle into his composed guidance and obvious skill in communications. I was properly informed, expertly guided, and convinced in 15 minutes that this was where I should temporarily store my personal effects.I am a local business owner for the last 23 years and know the value and power of the personal experience and how it sets one apart from the competition. I did not choose Extra Space LLC. I chose Gary.

John was amazing, friendly and super helpful!! The hallways are very clean and they have always been helpful when I need to add additional units or downsize my space. I have a climate control unit and the security is top notch. Your code only lets you access the area where your unit is located and they actively walk around to make sure the facility is clean and maintained. I highly recommend this location for all of your storage needs. I have rented a lot of storage units in the last 10 years and this facility has fair pricing, high security and is very clean!! They have no problem understanding your needs and meeting them.

They take care of my stuff....but keep increasing the rent, started at $114, now at $272

I started use one small unit at this storage since mid last year. They raise the price after 2months II I use the unit. And i recently got a letter again for additional raise.. now im paying almost double from the price I signed up for. This is not right. Im thinking to move my all stuff to other place where does not change the price so frequently.

Currently have a storage unit in this facility and it has been such a great experience. The staff is very friendly and organized. They go out of their way to help me especially when I am throwing out boxes and garbage from my unit. I have been renting a 5 X 5 from the Extra Storage Space in East Northport since 2008. I need it for my business. I have been very happy with my experience. Very accommodating and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend using this facility.

After a lot of online research, I found this storage unit to be the best place to go to. It was a 5x5 climate controlled unit that had a flash sale online and despite being a 30 minute drive away from Stony Brook University, it was a reasonable price. It was my first time renting out a storage unit so I wasnt sure what to expect, but Gary Mueller helped my friend and I out by giving us step by step instructions for how to properly work through everything to ensure it is secure.

Just moved into my unit, all looks good and clean so far.Update: moved out after 8 months. Everything went smoothly and I didnt have any issues. The place was always clean, and the gate and elevator worked without any problem, except one time when one of the elevators was briefly out of order.

We had been having a hard time carrying the storages and it became to a point where we needed Financial help for our bill and I cant thank extra space enough, a gentleman named Gary works there, he should be the owner of the place because of how well he handles and manages it. Ive never had to worry about any of my things even though Im across the country because Gary kept in touch with me almost on a monthly basis and gave me insightful advice not only that hes taking care of everything that he said he would exactly how he said he would. You dont often meet people that remind you of how it used to be, when complete strangers went out of their way to do you a favor. Extraspace A+ easy, there should be one in every corner, with a Gary to go with it. I dont mean to go on its just I was that impressed and grateful I felt obligated to let anyone looking for storage needs youre looking for a solid place to take care of your things, forget public storage and all those other nonsense set ups, extra space is where you want to be.

I actually visited the East Northport location to arrange for a storage unit in Illinois, on behalf of my daughter. Gary Mueller was extremely helpful; he contacted the location in Illinois, arranged for the rental for me, guided me through all the paperwork, and even arranged for the purchase of a lock. When my daughter arrives at the facility, she will be all set! Gary was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and despite the fact that I wasnt even renting a unit from his location, he provided excellent customer service!

It was quick and easy to get the space I needed they go over everything with you at the time. They give you a tour of the place to make sure that the space you’re looking at is the right fit for what you need. And go through all the steps on how to get into the facility. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and it was easy for me I would recommend this storage facility.

I have used several storage facilities. This is, by far, the best! The East Northport building is well maintained, clean, and secure. The bathroom is immaculate. However, what makes THIS facility special is the people involved. The company will actually listen to what you have to say. If there is a problem that the on site office cant fix (because it is out of their jurisdiction), they are VERY accommodating and do what they can. BUT, the best part is the people you will see at the property. Jon and Sue are WONDERFUL! They obviously maintain the property. But they add something that many others dont...a warm friendly atmosphere. They are courteous, helpful, professional, funny. They CARE about their clients and listen to them. They will go out of their way to try to accommodate you and help you in whatever way they can...something you unfortunately dont see very often. I know this is a long review, but I really like the place (could you tell!) and think they deserve it.

I was in a time crunch but he took care of showing me the storage unit, and signing me up for the lease and free moving truck rental agreements very quickly (while also taking care of another new customer simultaneously!). {Initial impression review}. I found this establishment via a web search and easily reserved a room online. I needed to move in earlier than my reservation date so I called and spoke to Jim. He was very accommodating, helpful and professional and considering he was working alone, the process was quick (hey management, hire this guy some help). The setup is good, there were gondolas available, the room was clean. It was the best price I could find for my needs, saved me $110/mo vs my old unit at Public Storage!!
