I give it a 2 star for opening. Owning a business is tough. But nothing else. The drinks are... actually, I dont know who pics the drinks being sold there cause you wont find a great pick. You wont fine some brand as its a corner thing fitting in budget of and folks around. So theres not a real mix to pick. The staff dont know there products neither. The last question you want to ask there is what would you suggest. What is your best wine in here. Lol.

Very impatient, petty, and rude towards 9:40-9:50 p.m which is the time frame they actually close. I made a quick switch of mini liquor at the cashier and the register guy quickly became aggitated. Im sure if this wasmnt such an ethnic neighborhood, the service would be better.

Went to purchase a gift here. Sexist, rude, prejudice, and unorganized Will never come here again and will tell everyone I know not to come here. When asked for info for manager everyone gets amnesia. One asked if I am the police?? Makes me wonder what they up to in there. Then Im told manager not here. Then given the name of Patel. Dont believe they were telling the truth.

This store is very clean and seems to be very well stocked however I did not see one black person working there all I saw was 7 Indians. How can you have a successful business in a 95% black neighborhood and not hire one single black person from that community? For right now Im giving them one star and I will not be back to shop again however I will stop through to see if they in fact do have any black people on other shifts. We should all have dignity for ourselves and we shouldnt have to be called a Niger in order to get angry at a business. Know when youre not liked and dont shop where youre not liked.

I go there to buy wine. The people tbere are always pleasant. The wines are reasonably priced there.

They have handicap parking but the parking lot is always packed but worse after 3:30 everyday . They have descent prices you can get bottle of Moscato for under $5. Even though it be crowded they get you out very fast.

Went into the store with my mother try to get some red wine for the New Years. I was so excited and try to pay for my 4 bottles of wine. The guy at the cash register was so rude and disrespectful and Prejudice, that when I was trying to pay for my wine he snatched my ID out of my hand and had an attitude and told me I had to wait. I was just in a rush because I have my car double Park and then he told me that he would not sell me the wine and started to curse me out and told the security guard to kick me out the store because I was rushing him. I was so devastated with the situation because I was with my mother and this is my first time being in the store. I just move in this area I never experienced so much abuse and prejudice in my life, I do not recommend nobody to come in this store and buy from this company.

Ive been to this liquor store on a few occasions but only as a patron once. After the mistreatment I received I would never spend my dollars here. If zero was a quantifyer this space would be it.1: Customer disrespect seem to be the primary focus.2: Layout and maintenance is subpar.3: Staff not well versed in product knowledge.4: Many of the staff dont speak English.5: Inventory is not the best and price points are highly inflated.This Wine & Spirits shop seems to operate under the premise that they are doing the community a favor. Stay away from this proprietor. There are alternatives at Bottle King in Glenridge, North Newark Wine & Liquor or Merit Fine Wine and Liquor in Montclair.

Very rude staff. I don’t usually drink on a regular basis but occasionally I would patron this place. Today I purchased a bottle of alcohol and the bottle was wet as wells as the bag; my vehicle was smelling of alcohol too. Noticing the bottle is obviously leaking or cracked I went to the cashier and explained the situation, I was then shocked when they began to accuse me of foul play. I was furious! After 15 -20 minutes of back and forth they was still giving me a hard time. They somehow then asked me “what I wanna do” then I just wanted to leave so then I at bare minimum exchanged the bottle and informed them how I will never return to patron this business who clearly doesn’t appreciate the community or even good business! Buyer beware!
