When I went here the first time the older man was very nice helped me get my foid card.no issues at all very nice people.Went today different people where there...walked in trying to buy something..and they said to wait till they are done eating so I was looking around waiting then another guy walks in and they told him what can I help you with when I was there waiting way before he came in.Idk why maybe because I wasnt white and the other guy was. but I just left not coming back here.

I came in for a FFL transfer for an online gun purchase I made. I wasnt exactly sure how to go about it, having never purchased online before. These guys made it easy as pie. And friendly to boot!

Since the new owner took over it is not as friendly of an atmosphere. I have gone in there a few times and no one even acknowledges you. The owner was sitting at his desk while the 2 were behind the counter helping people. I would think he could at least acknowledge your presence. Wont buy guns or ammo there anymore. When John and Jan owned it, that was the only place I would buy from. Not sure if its a female thing or if its like that for everyone that walks through the door.

Absolutely great. I knew what I wanted when I walked in the door. They were very friendly and helpful didnt try to steer me away had what I wanted and it was smooth sailing.Thank you

I visited John and Jans Shop recently and was very impressed with the warm friendly reception. The couple couldnt have been any more helpful, and their knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm is a credit to them. This is a passion for them and not just a business. Their shop is THE place to visit for any firearm enthusiast . I couldnt recommend it highly enough, and rated it 5 Stars but they deserve a 10/10.

I just bought my third gun from here. Actually, I traded in the first gun I bought and they gave me a fair price, considering that they need to make a living. Great, honest business. You may pay less online or at a big store, but it enough to put a small business owner out of business. I highly recommend them.

Great little firearms store. Found a Springfield 1911 Loaded there a few months back, when everywhere else in the area had a 3-6 month waiting list. The owners are very friendly and gave me a nice price to boot. I even received a thanks in the mail from them I was not expecting (not that its a big deal, but it was a nice gesture on their part). I would definitely recommend them to others in the area looking for guns and accessories.Brian

This is a great shop, I was amazed with the great prices on my purchases and the overall environment was warming and welcoming. The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The guns I bought had to be ordered and were ready to pickup the next week, ordered on Tues and another on Wed, arrived the next Tues. They also offer gunsmith services. I highly recommend checking them out.

I havent purchased any handguns or long rifles from them yet, but have bought a lot of add-ons for my AR. I have read reviews that they arent friendly, I will give you that at first, but once they know you they are great. They dont have all the toys in stock for a black rifle, but they will order them.I think with any LGS you should expect a little trepidation as there are some pretty intense anti-gun zealots that just want to trip you/them/us up and point and say see, they are evil.I do and will buy from them again.

I have dealt with several gun dealers. I havent found any nicer, more helpful people than those at Midwest !!
