I followed google maps to get to the store and it’s not even there. Even the sign “The Dance Space” is down. But on google it says they’re still open. I called the phone number on google and the phone number to the Dance Space. Google’s number had no answer. And when the Dance Space answered, they had no idea what store I was even talking about. Super disappointed!! Google, take it down!UPDATE: I received a call and text message from someone at Belly Dance Digs, she said her name was Anna. She was very helpful in trying to get me what I needed in time for my performance. She was very accommodating and attentive and from that I believe the customer service is dependable. Of course I still stand by google needing to update the info because it IS misleading - other people might make the same mistake and take the trip down there when it’s not even there right now. But I recommend the website and reaching out to them if you have questions or issues. I highly doubt that you’ll be disappointed. They said the store should be open for in store shopping in December.

I went to their location. According to Google maps it’s 55 Main Street. But When I arrived it’s not there and it’s a Greek restaurant. If that’s not the address of your location or you moved from there. Please let your customers know. I travelled from Brooklyn to go there.

I am basing my review on the amazing customer service the Donna gave me. I was searching all over for a Gypsy 25 yard skirt for my daughters dance show after receiving the incorrect color from a different company. I stumbled across Belly Dance Digs. I called and spoke to Donna. I expressed that my daughter was in a show on Monday and we really needed to find her a Gypsy skirt. She went through her site with me but unfortunately she didn’t have the skirt that I needed in the show room. She went over and beyond to help me and I truly appreciated it.

I have received excellent customer service from Belly Dance Digs. Thank you!Also, I want to say that the online selection for this store is tremendous, and you will find items here that you wont find anywhere else on the web (or at least that I couldnt find).Best wishes and keep dancing!

I try to give them a chance but Ive had three bad experiences with this company all on different occasions. They list items on their website available for purchase and you pay for it and they dont even have them. That was one instance. Another, I ordered two items and I gave them over 3 weeks before I followed up. When I followed up the person in email said that the piece was not ready and is handmade. They didnt even bother to partial ship what they did have and are very, very unreliable. Another incident, I notified them I had a gig and that I did not want to order unless they could promise I would have the piece in time for the events that was 2 weeks away. They promised so I placed the order. I followed up early in the week which I was supposed to receive my order and the woman told me that it would not be ready sorry.Every time I go to that site or members from my dance team go there - we are always making sure to check the lead time on each piece before purchasing because I am not the only one who has had this experience. If you send an email to them they take forever to respond, even after you say you have an urgent purchase you would like to make and are checking on the ship date. Really think the person running the company needs to take a lesson in customer service 101. Also, they have to stop listing things on their site available if they are not! They should write in the description how long it takes to design the piece and ship each piece or just say it is OUT OF STOCK. Never again.....

I am NOT satisfied with Belly Dance Digs. Over the phone, someone just called me rude and hung up on me. Ive been trying to engage in dialogue for 2 weeks now about a shipment that never arrived to me. They say it did; end of story. My post office says it didnt. In fact, Belly Dance Digs sent it via UPS to a PO Box I own, which is a mistake as UPS doesnt deliver to PO Boxes.They should have sent it to my home address, which they also have on file. They refuse to investigate or even talk to me about it. When I get frustrated and tell them their customer service is lacking, I get called rude.To answer your own post: I gave you 2 addresses, but given that UPS doesnt deliver to PO Boxes, you should have used the home one. The post office here maintains that the parcel was never delivered to them, nor was it rejected by them. I was away, but my family was not, but thats a moot point as no delivery was made to my home address...you used the PO Box. My emails were annoyed, not rude, and justifiably so. I have not called anyone names or called you rude. It is not rude to blame you for non-delivery when there was no delivery. You have refused to follow up with the post office. You are missing the main point: UPS does not ship to PO Boxes. You should not have used that address. That is the truth.

If youre searching for silk fans you might as well save yourself the money and order the same or better quality from amazon or wish, i dont know for a fact but the material does not feel or look like 100% silk, even if i am wrong about that.. there was some pink stain on my fans, definitely wouldnt go through the hassle of returning because of the rude customer service i dealt with the first time.Website was misleading and unorganized, wont be back and hope they are nicer to future customers.

Donnah was very helpful. She knew what I was looking for and shipped it very fast. I highly recommend them.

Great selection AND great customer service. BDD rushed me a auality item when I needed it in a pinch and that counts for a lot!

So far Ive always had good luck here, I love the selections and prices generally I arrives pretty fast.
