Sam is the absolute best !!!!! This was my first time storing in a storage facility, and the hospitality and kindness that Sam provided was amazing. He was very informative, explained everything in detail, and made sure I got everything for the right price and the right size. He seems very young, but is so knowledgeable. I absolutely recommend Safeguard and most importantly recommend seeing Sam. He will get you right !

Clean and safe. Usually a staff member to assist, but when there isnt it is still easy to access everything. Less expensive than other storage locations.

My experience with Safeguard storage was very good. Jack was the one who attended to me and drew up my contract. Although we had to keep our distance from each other, Jack was friendly, funny, polite and knowledgeable. He gave me detailed instructions, which I followed, on what to do and not do while bringing property to the unit. Jack went over how to use the keys and the fob to enter the facility and the storage unit itself. Jack showed my husband and I the storage units and showed us how to use the lock and key.I would recommend safeguard self storage to anyone who needs to store personal property.

Shout-out to Jack who was incredibly helpful when I needed a refund. I had first paid for a couple of months because the unit was huge, very well priced, and easy to reach from Manhattan by public transportation. But I quickly discovered I wouldnt need the storage (long story about books) and explained the situation to Jack, who swiftly made sure Id get everything back -- except for the modest administration fund, which cant be refunded. Great! Thank you! Ill keep this storage facility in mind for the future.

1pm on a Tuesday Very slow if your waiting for service This guy told be only 2 people allowed I side. While helping a lady who cant read for over 40 minutes. FYI theres multitask is a good tool to learn. 2 customer left because of these. Let this a learning experience. You try to make customers happy. Not have them wait 30 min. While clearly couldve helped 2 people at once

Person on desk duty was helpful and patient. Made it a very easy task and helped get us the best price for our needs.Unit is large enough and facility is air conditions.Only drawback is insufficient parking available.

My wife and I have had a fantastic experience at safeguard self storage over the last few months. We ended up renting 2 units in the end and Corey was there for both move-in days and both move-out days. Made everything very straightforward and easy to follow. Everyone was so nice and helpful and made my experience so easy! I spoke to the manager on the phone the day I reserved my space and he couldn’t have been nicer. When I went in two days later to look at the space, the guy working (I can’t remember his name, I’m sorry!!!) took me to look at the space and show me a similar one and couldn’t have been nicer! Thank you for taking time to show me! You were so patient and kind!

I have been using this storage facility for the past month, to store my stuff before a big move. The facility is very clean, and the staff was great in helping me. The young gentleman named Corey was beyond helpful in getting me the correct sized unit I would need. And they had a great promotion when I first moved my stuff in here, which I always love saving some money. 5/5, definitely recommend.

The customer service at this location is great. Corey gave us a tour of the building and showed us two of their larger units so we could decide. He was funny and informtative--the best combination. The large bay for parking is great because it will fit a professional moving truck. They even gave us a recommendation for a moving company which also worked out great. So we got everything we needed all in one place. Thanks Corey and Jack!

Jack was very helpful and nice to help me with some good information about my storage and the size I would need and etc and I love that kind of customer service because it make everything more easier for the customers.

My experience started on the phone. I had called and spoke to a very knowledgeable representative which made me want to physically go down and check them out in person. The manager that day was very helpful. Even showed me a few different units because I couldnt decide what size unit I would need. Sign up was fast and easy. They had a few promotions going on at that time. I did not take advantage of the moving truck although I had planned on it, just ended up doing it with my car. The facility is nice and clean. During moving there was only one day that there were a bunch of people there. The parking underneath got full but I just waited down the block for a few mins and was able to drive up with no problem. They have a number of carts you can use to help reduce the amount of trips you make to your unit. The manager was extremely thorough and made sure that I understood all of the companies policies (something I wish my previous storage place did). I would defiantly recommend to anyone who needs a unit.

I had such a great experience yesterday at Safeguard East Rockaway. First of all the place is spotless and you notice as soon as you walk in the office. Jack DaVila was so kind even from when I initially called on the phone and he was so willing to work with me and my schedule. His coworker Corey was also very friendly. The process was pretty quick and painless. All of the expectations were clearly explained. He was so patient walking us through the process and having us practice with the lock when showing us the storage space. When we went upstairs to the facility it was so clean and bright. I felt very safe. They had bins with wheels and wheeling carts there. I would definitely recommend this storage facility.

Jack Davila patiently showed me the storage spaces and clearly outlined pricing and rules. I dont know how he could have made the rental experience any better.The storage is well laid out, clean, and easy to use.

I was a customer of Safeguard for 2 years and it is a great storage facility. Its nice having an indoor loading area, and the whole building is very clean and well lit. Clean and easy access. The only issue was the lights kept shutting off because I wasnt in the range of the sensor.

I like the Safeguard facility that I have had the pleasure of using in East Rockaway, NY since it opened in 2018. It offers excellent temperature controlled units, with easy access, that is under constant computer monitoring which means that your stuff is truly guarded and safe.
