George has helped me with two solar projects. In both he has been knowledgeable, designed for my function and budget, and follows through on his commitments. One project was to retrofit a 2007 Sprinter RV, the second was to do a solar system for boat trolling motor, and he is now helping outfit a new Sprinter so I have the capacity to charge my two e-bikes.Update - Carsten Energy recently completed a 300 Watt solar system that is integrated into the charging system of my new 2020 4wd Sprinter and also has a shore power connection. As before, it functions and performs as designed. The panels are mounted very low profile given limited clearance in my shop.He also installed a diesel heater under the passenger seat that works great!

George was recommended by Battleborn for an upgrade I wanted from lead acid to lithium. George was top notch in all areas. There was a tricky problem to overcome due to sloppy lazy work done by my RV dealer, but George helped we work through it. He is simply the best. I highly recommend him!

If you want quality work at a reasonable price George is the person to talk to.We wanted an upgrade to our 5th wheel as the stock batteries weren’t cutting it. I called George and he helped guide me through the equipment selection; there’s more to the electric system than solar panels and batteries. George is incredibly knowledgeable about the systems he designs and installs. Selecting the setup was a collaborative process to get to the right solution. George takes time to understand what you, as the user, want the system to do.George demonstrated his professionalism and pride in his work the day after we picked up the trailer. We camped on the west side of the Cascades in a spot with questionable power. Our coach’s power flickered, and I called George for help. The next morning, he drove three hours to us to check out our system and make sure everything was working well. In the end the problem turned out to be the campground power and not the system George installed.We’ve been running with our new system for several weeks and love it. George, owner of Carstens Energy Solutions, installed lithium batteries, battery and inverter monitors, ran wiring and fine tuned our electrical panels in our 5th wheel RV. George is extremely knowledgeable and experienced! He explained everything he did and how to operate the new monitors, etc. He did a fantastic job and we are very pleased with the outcome.
