Instructors are very good and have a great deal of knowledge to impart to beginners, so if you pay attention and have patience you will learn something and walk away a better beginning rider

DJ, Kelley, (their young daughter helped too!) and Art were very helpful. I was very hard on myself, especially during the final skill test (permit only, with counsel, it was recommended my friend and I hold off on the offered intermediate testing, which we agreed with). I dropped the bike on the first day. Had I taken a local Seattle course, I probably would have been scolded or yelled at (based on reviews). But not here, in fact, my friend and I chose this location due to the glowing testimonials (5 stars vs 3.5 or 4 for nearby schools). Art reassured me everyone drops the bike at somepoint, and that really made me feel better.DJ was a great help too, firm when needed, but never berating or angry, and always relaxed the mood with a great joke. Will definitely come back after we practice on our own some more.They offer a pre-basic course too (cannot get permit though). I recommend this course if you get testing anxiety like me, as I believe this was my biggest personal hurdle. Learning the bike was more muscle memory and patience, my second day was a fast improvement (better shifting/clutch, fewer stalls).I recommend reading the latest WA state guide on motorcycle riding, as well as watching YouTube videos on how to use the clutch.Most people in our class actually had prior experience on a motorcycle, my friend and I, and one other person I think did not. Its still tailored for newbies, but something to consider!Its a challenge, but just keep thinking positively, and dont get too frustrated. You can do it if you believe you can!

I took the Basic Rider Course and it was very good. The instructors were great and genuinely concerned that everyone learn to be safe and have fun. The hardest part of the course were the slow speed exercises. I am very happy with this course and I recommend it. The class was 2 weeks ago and I definitely see an improvement in my skills.

The basic rider course rocks! Art the instructor was easy to understand and coaches well to help you grasp the concepts and greatly improve the skills youre learning. Cant wait to get a dual sport bike and take their adventure riding course. By the way if youre a taller individual they can provide 250cc dual sports that taller folks will appreciate, especially if youve ridden dirt bikes before it makes the transition to street skills and riding more approachable. Overall two thumbs up!

The training course was very informative with emphasis on safety and developing proper riding skills. Art, our instructor, was fun, engaging and patient. My riding skills have greatly improved after taking the beginner rider course. I will definitely return for the next level class! I highly recommend CWMT.

Brian and Art are very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They made the course super enjoyable and stress free. I would definitely recommend for new riders and I look forward to an intermediate course with these guys!

Staff and instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, fun and experienced. They know their stuff and know how to explain it in a way that makes sense to all. They are dedicated to safety and making sure you are comfortable. They offered individual tips, constructive criticism and encouragement every step of the way and truly do everything they can to help you. Great group of people sharing their passion! Amazing folks!

Very well paced and comprehensive teaching. Provided a 125cc-250cc motorcycle in good condition for everyone to ride. I would recommend for anyone wanting to learn the basics or getting back into riding
