We found this place while we were visiting Phillipsburg NJ. (Delaware River Railroad Excursions). They had great reviews and this place did not disappoint. I was quite impressed actually!Really good food and GREAT SERVICE. Our waitress was so attentive and took great care of our party of 7. She was on top of it. Refilled our drinks numerous times without us ever having to ask. Restaurant was clean and up to date. Food was really good as well. This place exceeded being called a diner, way better than your typical diner food. They kept the menu simple and smaller (not overwhelming like most diners) with newer trending food options as well as some old time favorites. Several burger/sandwich options as well as dinner options like full rack of ribs, steak and chicken Parmesan.

I went there this week to have lunch with family. Wings are amazing!! All of our food was very delicious. Staff is friendly and attentive. Will be back soon😃

We were coming home from a trip and stopped here. Friendly service and great environment. Everyone enjoyed their food. I ordered a Goat Burger cooked medium with Alice fries and was not disappointed! finished off with a brownie sundae for desert.

Great place to get a bite to eat and dont let the name fool you its more than a diner. Great service with friendly staff. The menu is different from a regular diner and the cocktails are a great addition!

Clean and friendly place. I ordered the French onion soup and fish and chips. French onion soup had an excellent flavor, although they didnt remove the bay leaves. Fish and chips I would not recommend. Salty and overcooked. My husband ordered a burger that was scrumptious! Juicy and large enough to share.

Great place. Great food this is the second time Ive been here. Love how the menus change for the holidays and seasons. Makes it worth it to come back once in awhile to find out what is new on the menu.

Got the chicken spinach ciabatta sandwich. Was really good. Fries were ok. Could of been fried a little longer for my taste.

Had dinner on Easter Sunday 2021. French onion soup, wings, and chicken spinach pesto sandwich were all on point. Our server was friendly and attentive and their COVID procedures seemed to be well-established and followed. Beer selection was very good. Overall we had an outstanding experience!

Been here 3 times over the past 2 months and never disappointed yet. Friendly, efficient service. Great breakfast! (Ive only tried breakfast here so far but will definitely be going back to try lunch) French toast is thick and fluffy with fresh tasting fruit. Eggs never slimy or gross. Sausage and bacon tastes fresh and not overly greasy. Good coffee. Probably my new favorite breakfast spot. Relaxed atmosphere.

Very impressed with the food, good selection of plates to order, served hot and fresh. Had a great time with my grandma. Can see why it gets crazy busy.However, your wait staff was hanging out near us and trash talking Texas majority of the time, as well as discussing politics. This was extremely unprofessional and very rude. Politics has NO place being spoken about by the staff at a business. I am a Texan and flew home to visit my grandpa. Very upsetting for me to hear Texas being trashed talked in such a manner. Save it for the break room, out back, not where customers are eating their lunches.

This place is excellent. The service from Courtney was great and the food was much better than I expected. The wings were delicious, and the soup could have been a meal by itself. The French Dip was better than most. The Banana cake is large enough to be shared by four. This is what you look for when you’re hungry and traveling. This place should be franchised.

Found this place by accident. On our way home from Doylestown and just got off the exit to find food. Glad we found it. Classic diner food and pleasant, fast service. Definitely recommend if youre in the area.

Curiously trendy crowd here enjoying everything from mimosa flights to thick french toast to classic Reuben sandwiches. While reservations are a good idea, the service is still lightning-fast even with a packed house! Food was tasty and fresh unlike greasy spoon diners I do recommend!

More of a restaurant than a diner. Consistently good food and service. Excellent rice pudding. Jumbo fried shrimp were great, but they took them off of the menu. Soup is usually tasty as well.

The service was really good. The food came in timely fashion and the waitress was attentive. The food was delicious and they give large portions. And dessert was delicious. The prices were moderate and you get a lot of food for your money.

My family and I went for breakfast on Memorial Day 2021. I called beforehand to confirm times. Google was showing as open, but Yelp had them as closed. Service was quick. We were seated almost immediately walking in, our server was friendly and informative. Drinks came out quickly. We ordered a flute of Mimosas, Irish Coffee, Water with Lemon, the Lumberjack and a special breakfast called Nonas stuffed french toast. 3/4 people are bariatric patients and we were able to split the two meals we ordered and the server already anticipated us needing extra plates. No fuss! This is an EXCELLENT win as the portions are wonderfully generous. We only had to take one small box home. Prices were great. Everyone in terms of staff, even those not serving us, were friendly. We would definitely return again!

Just flew back from Florida and stopped in. I have to say the food was delicious and they had a beer on tap called “Fat Tire”. I was surprised to see it on their tap list. This Ale rocks. Now to what brought me here with my review. I never met this young lady before but she needs to be noticed and requested as your server. Her name is Hannah. She is without a doubt the best server I have had in 20 years. I’ve been going to this place forever for the great good and now I have an even better reason. What an awesome diner. Exceptional food and our waitress Michele (Shelly) as usual was great.I recommend the black diamond steak with crab cake. It was so good and literally melted like butter. My boyfriend had the ribs and they were so tender and falling off the bone.This is a must do restaurant for anyone looking for an exceptional meal and service.

Outstanding food! Great selection - they have something for everyone including the kids. I had the Salmon Avocado Salad (see pics). The piece of salmon was generous, flavored well, and complemented the greens nicely. Lots of avocado and other tasty veggies in the salad. Great value and tasty food.

Nice place, good food, large menu. We stopped in on our way from NJ to Western PA and were happy with our meals (strawberries and cream pancakes, 2 burgers, and a salad). Husband is always happy with joints that allow chicken sub for burger and they do that here!

This is one of our regular places to dine out. They have great desserts here always on display while you wait for a table to tempt you. The menu here is varied and there are several good selections. We like the deli club. They also have a specials menu regularly. The wait may be long at times, but the service and wait staff are fast and friendly.

Good service, good food, good music. Food is a good quality and the portion was more then enough for me and my mom.We ordered grilled marinated chicken which is also served with soup. We got one Italian soup with meet balls and one vegetable soup. Both are delicious!Very highly recommend!

Was somewhat disappointed with limited menu,however wings and onion soup were tasty. Arrived at 4:30 pm and was looking for breakfast menu, no such luck.Thanks for your response. So you know I have been to the diner at least once, everytime Ive stayed in Bethlehem ( been going there for several years now). My friends and I have always enjoyed our meals there. We actually bought your T- shirt on one of our visits. Hopefully during our next visit you will be back to full menu

Fantastic food. Banana cake is the best I have ever had. Service is great. Food is fantastic. A lil pricey, but worth it. Home made soups. Specials are wonderful. Real food for real people. Chicken croquettes are fantastic. All home made. What a Gem in Pa. Each time I go, I order something new and it is always good.

Visited here on 3/14/2021. As far as diners go, this place is epic. The Lumberjack breakfast I ate was exceptional. The cashier who cashed me out is drop dead gorgeous!The only wrench in the works is the hostess who sat me in a booth instead of a table I asked for. Im a 72 tall man and had to cram myself into a booth that I obviously couldnt fit into. Hoping for a better experience at my next visit here.

Okay place. I’m from Va. one of the more decent places I have eaten on the road. Can’t complain. A little pricey for me. All around good menu with an okay amount of choice. I’ve seen less on menu and I have seen more. There right in the middle. Easy on and off to get to as they are located on a main road. Did not go into this place. We did curbside pickup. As of this review due to COVID-19 they are limited to people in inside so they have a over flow tent outside. Wish I could have had the whole experience. But I’ll wait till next time. Picture was taken at the hotel we stayed at. Walking distance for sure. Just be mindful it’s a four lane highway.

Great breakfast place! As someone who raises their own chickens, I rarely order eggs out, but I couldnt resist the Avocado Crab Eggs Benedict. And Im so glad I couldnt! It was absolutely delicious! Huge chunks of tasty crab meat and perfectly ripened avocado slices accompanied two expertly poached eggs with vibrant orange runny yolks atop toasted muffins and generously drizzleded with smooth, silky Hollandaise sauce with just the right hint of lemon. Probably the best Eggs Benedict Ive ever eaten and that includes that I make at home with our fresh eggs. The coffee was good too. Nice restaurant... Great choice for a yummy breakfast.

I got the steak and eggs which is always a hit or a complete miss. let me tell you it was a hit! I have not had steak and eggs this good in a long time. the steak was tender and everything I would expect a steak when Im having it for an entree for dinner.

Looks very intimidating from the outside that its extremely packed but inside its very spacious. Sunday Morning and immediately got a table for a small party. Food was delicious. Will be back!

Waitress we had was awesome. Im sorry dont remember her name but we left there about 5pm. We had the lil one and we both got ribs. Anyway she was great and very tentative I would recommend dinner 248 for anyone local or just passing through. We were on our way home back to NY from 6 flags. TYVM again

Diner248 has great food, a decent atmosphere, and friendly staff. There is usually a fair selection of beers on draft varying from domestics to IPAs. The wings and wing sauce choices are great, especially paired with their banana bread for dessert

The food I ordered today was not to my liking. I picked at it but I didn’t like it. I spent 40 dollars so I Was a little upset that my food wasn’t good. But I am leaving 5 stars because the staff is amazing!! All very friendly, and warming. I ordered my food wrong to begin with, and when I spoke to a manager, by the name of Lee, he fixed my order for me right away. He was so pleasant, and didn’t seem annoyed by my order which happens all the time!!! He made my experience definitely a 5 star!!

Large patties, but juicy and flavorful with a good seasoning to meat ratio.Friendly staff, and efficient.Great curbside system during covid 19.Try the ugly goat burger, it is unique and delicious! Love the elevated Menu that is filled with lots of different Flavors/combination of foods to create a party for your pallet! When we went there we had a new server who was training and you could barely tell she was new at all! Super nice staff and know alot about the menu. Since covid, the menu has condensed some which is disappointing 😕. Other than that its a great place to stop and grab a burger and a beer! The Ugly Goat is my favorite! No one else around does a burger like that! Give it a try!

We had a terrible experience and me being the person I am still paid my bill when I shouldve honestly just walked out. We left very dissatisfied. How is there the same piece of hair In my food twice when you told us you remade it? The omlet was lukewarm when we received it the second time. This time presentation was bad and the same hair I complained about was still there. Please do better.
