Wow, can not say enought about this course. A five star for sure. The staff is excellent and very professional handling your needs. The views are fantastic, overlooking the Delaware River on many holes. The course was in excellent condition when we played last week. Definitely going back for more rounds of golf. ❤

Always a fun course, harder the better, personally but there always seems to be something up. For instance bunkers have been in shambles for years and still are (not a secret) and apparently they air-raided the greens recently??...its the beginning of August! A little fair warning would have been great considering this is not typical timing in the NE for air-raiding greens.Update: I apparently missed any posting about the aeration. This courses greens are usually in great shape otherwise. Food at the View is also great and we make it a point to grab a bite after our round.

I love Morgan Hill. The pro, the staff, the course and the location are all the best. Sure, it’s a challenging course. But it’s also fun, rewarding and beautiful. Played a round with my buddy from out of town and they stayed late in order to give us as much time as possible. Above and beyond, which made for a great day despite the fact that I played like I was pooping peach pits all afternoon. Great time, great course and great people. Highly recommend it. In fact, I’m a member. So I put my money where my mouth is.

Very challenging and interesting course. Lots of uneven lies and blind shots.Very scenic course and in great shape. Would not reccomend for the casual golfer as it is quite a challenge for experienced golfer. My only complaint was that the rough was PGA level height. Lost balls that would run off fairway into rough as so deep and dense ball would disappear. 19th hole very nice outdoor patio with excellent food. Not heavily played course and would assume its because of the degree of difficulty

One of the best golf experiences I’ve ever had! I was just up here for a business meeting, spending all meeting picking a golf course and I lucked out! Hard course. Carved out of the side of a huge hill gives awesome views and the craziest golf course architecture you’ve ever seen. Nothing like it anywhere. Lynx style with occasional thick treelines. Deep deep soysia grass rough is punishing! Undulations everywhere!!! No even lies. Deep insane bunkers, mix of large and small greens. Deceptive and intimidating off the tee. Hard! Hard! Hard! I love it! Then I got world class looking and tasting food and a seat at the corner of one of the two bars (one outdoors) live band entertainment on a Wednesday?!?! This place is awesome! The distance though....a must if you are near here.

So holy cow this place is gorgeous. Great views and well kept. That being said I am a defeated man after playing here. The amount of blind tee shots and the sever elevation change made me questions my entire existence as a golfer. Not that its entirely long, but I had no idea what club to hit ever because one of the holes was farther down than the Mariana Trench. The bunkers are almost as deep, and were a great place to get some shade at 2 in the afternoon. Good shot shape is required everywhere, and if your draw doesnt draw well too bad there goes another pond ball claimed by the void. My blood pressure is still high just remembering it. Im bringing my therapist and 3 clubs I dont mind breaking next time. Cant wait to go back.TL;DR - Amazing course, worth the 2 hour drive. Not for the faint of heart.

First time here early September when it already began feeling like fall. First impressions of this course were the staff is friendly. Pulled up to drop clubs off and the starter walked over and brought the bags over for us. It seems to be an ideal place for company outings, we couldnt get a tee time until late morning and even then we did a decent amount of waiting to tee off in between holes. In terms of the course its well maintained, so meticulously and well in fact that there were at least two ground crews associates cutting and blowing leaves on the 10th and 11th holes (nearly got one with my ball). In addition the carts come with a GPS tracking system that shows the course and your distances. The price is a little bit steep but its value is parallel in this challenging but rewarding course.

The course was technical and unless you have played here before and know the layout you will be making a lot of blind shots. The staff was ok, not overly friendly. As you play the course there are multiple warnings that you will be prosecuted for trying to get a ball which is on someones property. Almost to the point that you feel threatened. Also warnings that the carts have GPS and if you hit any property they will know and you are responsible for damages. Nothing like a round of golf where you are being berated by warnings the whole time.Maybe they shouldnt have built houses and property so close to the greens and fairways.

First timers. Outdoor seating and view were the reason for our visit. Service was SLOW! At times there were no servers in sight outside but we could see servers standing inside as though they were congregating together. The food was pretty good but hot food came out cold. Cocktails were good but again we had to wait forever. We saw several different tables go inside and get their own drinks so my husband did the same. While we waited for our food, we observed tables being served food but not everyone at those tables (4 people per table, not large parties) were served simultaneously. The band was excellent. We were having a nice time enjoying the music when (what appeared to be a regular) asked if he and his wife could sit at our table and drink listening to the band while we ate. Weird. We had reservations at 7:15. the band started playing a little after 8:00 and we had just finally got severed our food. The entire experience was a mixed bag. We will try eating here again to see if perhaps our first visit was an off night for the kitchen and staff.

This golf course is fantastic! It is difficult and challenging and is not a casual walk around the park. Today Im a 15.6 handicap and if you dont know what that means, then do yourself a favor and play the forward tees. The layout, with elevation change, guarded greens, fairway bunkers and tree line fairways, requires the ability to shot shape and be accurate. If those arent your things, just play it forward or bring some extra balls. I only managed a 17.3 index on the round and thats because I putted beautifully. The greens are probably the best I have played in PA. Soft, receptive, amazingly accurate to roll the ball on and most important, consistent from hole to hole. The greens alone would make this a 5 star golf course.I love that there is a paved cart path on every hole. The navigation of the course can be tricky with a lot of road crossing and U-turns but the cart paths are painted and the scorecard has a map.Overall there were no drawbacks what so ever. The scenery is amazing with deer crossing my path at holes 2, 3 and 4 just after sunrise so even if you arent the avid golfer and are just picking up your ball sometimes, its a gorgeous course to spend the day at. Just be ready to not post your best round ever and to be challenged by the design and awed by its implementation.

Bunkers need a lot of work. Poor drainage. Weeds, abandoned tee boxes.#2 back tee... gone..Slow play.. that a bad thing. People who cannot play should pickup. The owner needs to look hard at who is running this place as you took a gem and buried it. At least the greens were in good shape except for the poor soles who do not fix ballmarks. Not sure I can spend hard earned money on this again.

I played it yesterday for the first time and the course was in very good condition. Mountain terrain makes for many blind shots, uneven lies and difficult-to-read greens, but that is the appeal. What a shame, I have been playing this course for years, it was one of the most challenging best manicured courses in the Lehigh Valley,However my opinion has changed, hole 12 which is a par 3 has 2 sand traps on the green, there r places that the rough is over your ankle, which has made it 10x more difficult for the average golfer, slows the pace of play down when looking for a ball a few feet off the fairway, hole 13 the tee boxes are in the fairway with and up hill tee shot, I am a 10 handicap and have loved the challenge of this course, also play the sister courses Bella Vista, and Mainland, wondering if they are worth the trip this year!

Decent course. Its very difficult first time out, as there are a lot of blind shots and difficult hills to deal with. Fortunately the golf carts include GPS which helps immensely. Just be sure to take it slow over the speed bumps on 12!Update: played the courses again and found it to be a middling to poor experience. Quite a few fairways were in poor shape. The starter seemed clueless, just sending people out at random, so we ended up teeing off late. There is ZERO pace of play enforcement. The group in front of us put us 40 minutes behind pace, so we were forced to skip a hole to have any chance at finishing the round. Did not see a course Marshall once. I would not recommend to any golfer to visit this course. Between the pace of play, the absurd difficulty of some holes, and poor conditions, it does not make sense to play. My 3 star review is generous.

I love this course. Ive played it about 10 times. There are holes where the elevation change is a lot more than 100 feet. There is nary a level spot in the fairways. Some players may consider a layup short of trouble. Most shots are blind. Sand traps are like caves. The new GPS on the carts are the best, and a very nice addition. You can see 10 miles or more from many places. Delaware Water Gap is viewable about 20+ miles away. The ball tends to break towards the river, even on seemingly uphill puts. This course competes very well with Architects, NJ, Neshamic Valley, NJ and Lederach, PA. For $50 it is a steal. It is worth the 1 hour drive to get there. The people who work there know golf. All including the stunning cart girl. Great place!

This past Saturday I had a birthday party for my husband at Morgan Hill. Unfortunately, because of the two event planners, Liz and Joey, I will never hold another party there. They were unorganized and forgot a lot of simple details, like......appetizers, the kids meals, the candle decorations. A few days prior to the party I stopped in to review the menu and the set up. Joey actually told me not to worry because he would take care of everything and actually be there the day of the event. Right. All I have to say is thank goodness for Nick, who was terrific and basically saved the day. He worked hard, was professional, and fixed everything his two coworkers messed up. Id book a party through him any day.It also says a lot when after the party you send an email and leave a phone message saying that you want to talk about your experience and you dont get an email or a call back. Good work Liz.Thank you Nick, the Chef, and the hard working waiters and waitresses.

Course is in amazing condition. First time playing it on a golf now special and for the rate the course charges, they are cheaper than other courses in the area. This course gives you the most bang for your buck. The staff is extremely pleasant, the course is very challenging, and long depending how you attack it. Our GPS was broken in our cart, but the course has areas to aim at, that will give you a better second shot with the ball level with your stance. Many players that are power hitters want to just grip it and rip it. I dont have length with my driver but I do have excellent control with my 3 wood and hybrids / irons. I was able to land in spots that reduced having approach shots with the ball above or below my feet. It happened, but not as much as my playing partners. The greens are extremely fast in the morning and they play mind games with you as the day goes on. I ended up putting too short or through the break. But my poor putting contributes to that as well. The pin placements are great too. Some courses put them at the minimum distance from the fringe to make a course more challenging, but not here, at least during my round. They are in tough positions but still give you a chance to knock it close.Three things I would like to see improved on at the course.1) The sand traps are barren and should be filled in. Otherwise treat your shot like a short pitch, but with rocks to ding your clubs.2) Pace of play was agonizingly slow. A 7:30am tee time should not lead to a 1pm finish. People in front played very very slow. Sometimes just cut your losses when you lose a ball and move on. A Marshall should be out on the course keeping up the pace of play.3) Oh make a some nice directional signs instead of spray painting hole #10 this way, etc. on the cart paths. Minor, but yet would add that final touch to this course.I cannot wait to get out on that course again. The restaurant is outstanding, but I will leave that as another review as this one was strictly limited to the golf course itself.
