This is one of the best thrift stores around! I always find something of quality.

Again, prices way to high! I shop at all of the thrift stores in Macomb and Oakland county and Im VERY familiar with the pricing market. All Value City stores are WAY out of line for the market when it comes to prices. Even with the 50% off sale they just had, it only brought the prices down to what you could buy at any other thrift store in the area at their full price. I do avoid Value World Thrift Stores because Im guaranteed to pay more there then anywhere else. Not worth it.

Store is ok, with good selection but one issue that bothers me is the prices.I know everything is going up in prices but in this situation it only hurts the ones that frequently enter these places: low income folks.

Very Covid responsible...they also have hand sanitizer when youre walking in and or leaving. Shields are at the counters...social distancing and mask are required. The customers themselves also social distance while shopping. Great experience with fast lines...may or may not depend on whose working at the time.

They are getting a bit pricey, the merchandise is USED! You have to clean, or send to cleaners after the purchase! That should reflect in the cost, ijs. The managers should stop pricing from EBAY! A used pot should not be Twenty dollars and dirty, with rust, and bugs in it.....

I never go by reviews but this was one time I shouldve. The store is very well set-up. The price are very high to be selling used items. There were a pair of old Nike that were bent up at the toes and the tag said $25. Thats crazy to me

I was a employee of this location in less than a month I yielded on shoes to a impossible level, told to price shoes at almost same price as new, lift heavy boxes do 250 max a day no one else did,take down shoes put them back ckean them arrange them,but I was ok I was moved to cashier within a week or two .ten got missing at first usually out on a new cashier but after I kept up with money I wrote down no more issues. Except a mistake I did with credit card, I report any issue so my register been ok unless tamped with. I was even offered to be trained so as manger valued a great employee never to be fired unless I quite. I volunteered to move to nights since night shift was bare none coming in late those they did have exc. I was still cashier I pushed out customers mostly myself except when one other worker cashier was there day shift was tough on register but cool I got backed up at worst but not always at max. Nights were ok until a wrong price was gave to a customer that I think the older night shift mangers and it new older employee knew. A video game priced at 1. 58 I myself thought the game was 2.02 like the DVDs I know in misc the first number is usually the last number. The customer is upset I called for manger to confirm price of game the new employee all in mix too. It was two mangers for some dumb reason on shift that night not news for nights but the one who gave wrong price did not come the younger head manger came ( the other manger rarely wanna come anyway or deal with a public) the young manger gave right price 3.53 the customer gets a attitude and I tried to keep it cool but she verbally and physically threatened me the staff a witness! Usually all customers if u ask would say in polite and honest and fast on register .one even gave me a tip I refused at first I did tell Steve he thought I was hooking people up well not me but check others. Tips were offered before I turnt down because of favoritism and set ups. The job be ok if not favoritism, slothdulness, poir education of prices or curiosity, miscommunication I not rge only one who says this but others want cause probably rhry only job or been there longer yes years so I assume make more. The staff should be paid more its a pandemic! Im fired yet one of best employees in a while? My hireing manger tried to keep me but Steve without even meeting with meijer other mangers and your alleged Corp wanted to fire me? Why when people come in late,steal!, argue, be lazy,keep store unclean give hook ups, half do work, set others up,give wrong prices, why they still there cause rhry been there longer? I defended myself I was attacked I am going through family issues and bipolar other people have issues they understand them but Im fired I even signed a paper for three day suspension but still fired. She was gonna out me back on shoes I had them shoes neat and lined up boxed whatever the other new shoe lady or whoever not as good . Sad I fast kind cashier is needed who clean store like i did cloths be on floor off hangers piles! I help work many dont this is why good workers leaving I did almost quite but my situation led me back even with two other jobs I struggle but its ok I dont have to kiss butt at a low class business touch not my anointed do my prophet no harm. This place has lots of selection and the merchandise is pretty organized. The chain also has coupons with 50% off, but on those days it is really crowded. I would give them five stars for sure but they do not have a fitting room - and sorry but that is just dumb.

I know a lot of people leave bad reviews about this place, but I like it. Ive found that you really have to dig to find the good stuff, so make sure you have enough time and patience set aside to do so when you come here. And as for fitting rooms, most thrift stores Ive been to dont have them, so know your size before you go. And every thrift store Ive ever been to has a no return/refund policy, so why are people complaining? And if something is out of your price range, dont buy it, duh. I dont get it. If you cant get in the right mindset before coming here to shop, just just dont go. I enjoy this place. Its a nice little shop.

This location is severely overpriced for what they have. The others have way nicer stuff and better prices. The real turn off is the rude employees. I was in the other day with my baby in her carseat. We grabbed a cart from the cart stall and began shopping. I had made my way to the back of the store near the toys when a lady comes from the backroom and starts yelling at me that I cant have that cart. She says it was never supposed to be up there with the others and I need to get one of the smaller ones they have. Um okay..... I have my baby in her seat and a bunch of clothes in here now. But I am expected to take all of it out and schlep it back up to the front of the store to get a different cart all because someone else put the cart somewhere it should not have been. That was beyond rude. You dont treat customers that way. It wasnt even my fault and the least they couldve done was offer to get me a different cart to transfer all my stuff to.

This is my number one place to shop. I am on a budget and I find it a very good place to buy items that are very cheap and fashionable. they also have a name brand rack with items like Guess, Gucci, Prada and a lot of other name brands. Some of the items can be a bit pricey being the fact that the things are donated but all in all its still a good place to find beautiful item and save. you can also find things like furniture, bedding, cookware, shoes, toys and much more.

Ok at best.🔵The good:They have all sorts of unique junk that you cant find any place else. The prices are great and they have 50% off coupons all the time.🔴The bad:The store is fairly dirty and unorganized. They do not have dressing rooms and the stores overall morale has a not my job feel to it.

Thrift store prices are very low, especially the corner clearance rack. Good source for seasonal clothing, household goods, books and other items. Must be able to push open the door. Automatic door is kept locked.

I love the prices and selection at this store. (10 Mile and Kelly) Plus the 50% off coupons save you twice as much!! The only draw back is there are no dressing rooms. Hopefully one day they will install them!

Its a big place with a huge selection but it is way too over priced for a thrift shop. I waited way too long in line that wasnt even that long that has 2 or 3 registers open. I ended up putting back the things I was going to buy and just left. It was not priced amd was probably too expensive for what I was buying. You are better off going to your nearest salvation army and pay less money and get faster service.

I went there monday the 11th had pair of boots asked how much 40.80 i said that cant be right i had tried them on fit good i really liked but she kept saying there 40.80 no way sorry wont go again if them boots were really 40.80 they would not be there 4 sure she tried to get a little extra i think i can go to a real store get same boots for 10.00 to 20.00 but she wouldnt even check on it so keep your boots and all never go again D

Lots of clothing but no dressing rooms and the line was so disorganized. People kept cutting in front of me and I was standing under the sign that says checkout but apparently that wasnt the line, then someone cut in front of me. Why not dressing rooms? Horrible
