We are in Grosse Pointe Farms, where rocks, roots and trees make fence installation challenging and costly. This is my second time with Family Fence, installing the final side of my yard. I would give them 10 stars if I could! They were responsible, neat, timely, reliable, and there was no need to clean up after them, as they removed all debris and left my yard neat and clean! Their knowledge overcame all the obstacles presented. I love this company and wish all contractors were as reliable. From Bob and Lisa to the installers---just a great group of people to work with.

Add a fence repair, got lucky call one day who was out the next day finish today! Excellent job highly recommended

My only regret with this company is that I cant give them 10+ stars! They are absolutely amazing! They did a beautiful job, and I believe I now have the most beautiful fence in the Pointes! These guys were professional, timely, meticulous, and conscientious about this installation. They had to remove ancient cyclone fencing, very old stockade fencing, and work around a massive maple tree! They were amazing, and I couldnt be happier! Thank you Family Fence!

Made an appointment 2 weeks ago to have an estimate. Appointment day came and nobody bothered to even show up or even call to say they couldnt make it I guess they dont really need the business. I hope that everyone stays away from this company. Called to let them know and they didnt even care all I got was a ok good luck Really? you should be grateful that someone was trying to come to you to give you work.

These guys were great and I HIGHLY recommend them. Last year’s high winds heavily damaged a line of fence in our yard. Other companies would not even come out or return our calls. One estimator did swing by to evaluate our situation and kept shaking his head saying a job like ours was not something that he was sure his company could tackle.Not only did Family Fence accept the job, they arrived early to do the work. They were professional, fast, friendly and we are more than satisfied with the end product. A great experience all around! If you need fence repair or installation, I defy you to find a company better than Family Fence & Supply!- Steve H.

Scheduled an appointment for an estimate 3 weeks ago on scheduled day of the estimate nobody called or showed up at the said time. I gave it 3 hours then called, Lady who answered the phone said she couldnt hear me but was in sync with the whole conversation waiting til i was done talking to say she couldnt hear me. I hung up and called again, she said sorry the office was closed please try back another time. I then called back with a different number and she could hear me loud and clear so i brought up the no call no show appointment and she hung up. I get places are busy and short handed but no need to be rude.

Great customer service! Did an awesome job on our fence with beautiful arched gates! Looks better than the neighnors fence high priced fence from Radiance who paid more than double what we paid from Radiance! Plus we didnt get the cocky/arrogant attitude that comes with Radiance! Hot yo the job very quickly. Solid construction has held up well and still looks brand new after nearly 10 years! They used all the same high quality fencing materials from the same manufacturers, but did a much better Installation. Our fence came out much more rigid than neighnors fence that only cemented in every 2-3 posts and is already sagging and falling down! Funny thing is they paid waaayyyyy more for less perimeter! Best decision we made!

Timely, reasonable pricing, with efficient & respectful workers

I’m not sure how this place is in business. I called and scheduled an appointment for a couple of days out. I had to call the morning of to just make sure they were coming out. Surprise surprise the lady who answers the phone was the same lady who scheduled my appointment. She had no record of this appointment.

Run....bad news...these people lie like rugs. Stay away !!!

I own a landscape company and Family fence takes care of all the fences on all my new design jobs. Bob and his guys also did the fence at my own house which I always get compliments. I would highly recommend family fence.

I called 6 fence companies and Family Fence was the only one to even come out and give me an estimate. the guy was punctual and pleasant. fence looks great and his employees were very nice and friendly. i would totally recommend them.

I received their name from a neighbor who seemed satisfied with their work. I contacted them for an appointment for an estimate. They ended up being a no show. There was no call or notification. After several calls the following week with a lame explanation of why there was a no show, I rescheduled an appointment. Again there was no show and no returned call after an attempt to understand why there was another no show. Apparently, they dont need the business so I will be going elsewhere.

I wish I could give a zero stars...Had an appointment for 430, no one came so I called them at 5, guy said he wasn’t told about the scheduled appt but would be there in 20 minutes, no show no phone call again. Must be nice to.be making so much money that you can not show up twice and have no respect for potential customers by at least calling with an apology, and this place was a referral 😡Good luck...should of read the reviews first, they seem to do this a lot

Never seen a company as bad as this one. Does god awful work, refuses to fix their screw ups, refuses to do the work that they were paid to do, then when called to talk the owner threatens his customers saying he’s a member of the vigilante mc and not to mess with him. So customer service is non existent. Similar to the entire company’s intelligence level.

Not professional at all. I had an appointment today at 11am. Called at 1030 and to make sure someone was coming out, they stated that the appointment was changed to 12:30pm. So i left to work. At 11:15 i get a call from my wife that the guy came for the estimate. Without even calling me to leg me know he was on his way. So my wife told him to call me and I’ll tell him what needs to be done he just walked away.

Came out on Saturday morning, pulled out entire chain link fence that was thirty years old, installed entire back wood privacy fence all in one day. Great price, looks fantastic! Quick and painless. Highly recommend them.

Had an appointment set up and they never showed. Called and there was a mix up of some sort so I rescheduled for the next day and they never showed on that day. Not sure what’s happening at this company.

Called on Wednesday Bob came by my residence that evening for a quote on a chain fence and gate . Installed the next day and did a wonderful job! And the best quote in town! Dave D. SCS

These guys are awful. Friend had them do a fence and its as crooked as Family Fences business ethic. They left large materials behind for him to clean up and blocked him on social media. What a joke.

I called them with an emergency repair. They were available right after the New Year within 48 Hours. Work was done quickly this in the morning and promptly and courteously done

Horrible Company, and the Owner Robert Fisher is even worst. They did a terrible job installing a wood privacy fence - The panels are not even connecting on a 4x4 fence post, its not even straight, The made a complete mess of the yard .. And Absolutely refuses to take care of the problems.. Robert Fisher response is.> See you Court. and hangs up on meThe sub-contractors they hired even talked very bad about him, If I could give any thing less then 1 star I would.

Took them 3 and a half months to complete the job. Cashed my deposit the day i met with the owner for the estimate. Was told it would be about 2 weeks out but ended up taking nearly 4 months to complete the job after multiple no call no shows. Installer was nice but owner and clerical was horrendous. Make sure you get everything singed and in writing. When i spoke to the owner about a $100 discount for the waiting and run around he threatened to take me to court. Bad business all the way around.

They did an AMAZING job. Love their work!!! Definitely would recommend them to Everyone.

Scheduled a quote...no call no show. I called to verify time/date and they asked to reschedule on a Saturday morning. No call/No show again. They called monday to apologize and I rescheduled (reluctantly) for tuesday since I had another place already coming to quote at the same time. They called the day of the 3rd scheduled quote to cancel quote.Zero/5 Stars

Family Fence..had an appointment on monday no call no show! I had to call them and of course here come the apologies...set appointment for the following day at 10...some old guy that looked like he was trying to overcome a hangover or shake off a drunk, steps out of his car. He said hes Family Fence...I said so what, you were supposed to be here at 10 and yesterday you didnt even show up! He said do you want me to leave I said yes..he said ok good. Not getting my business when they cant even show up on time. Now he can get back to the bottle. No 🌟 stars from me! Poor customer service!!!!

Did not show up for appointment. Called the office, a woman said she would call him and find out where he was. She did not put phone on hold and was throwing f- bombs around . I was told after I was disconnected and had to call back that they would let me know what was happening. Never heard from them, which at this point, is fine with me.

Sloppy, did not fasten parts where fence meets together, not to mention the people who put it together were arguing and unsure of how to do it. Employees were rude and when I spoke to the owner he said somebody would come out to fix it and they never showed. Called again he said he would have somebody out and again nobody showed. They have resorted to hanging up on me when given the name. Cant believe a business would behave this way!!

Very disappointed in this company, was supposed to come out on Monday did not come then called me the next day to reschedule then never showed! I do not recommend this company!
