It is a very well-kept gun store everyone there is very knowledgeable and helpful and they have all the accessories you need and the gun range is really nice with a max distance of 73 feet I believe and everyone is really chill and many guns to buy and rent.

Today was the first time at this range and i am very impressed, clean,well lit, well ventilated, and having an RSO there puts my mind at ease for all of the others that, well, need a lot of watching and assistance, this range is our new go to range and i highly recommend.

The CCW/CLP class was great! I had fun and learned a lot. Plus our teacher Willie Cambell was awesome! I definitely recommend training with him.

Do not go here if you want someone informed to help you. Their salespeople are just that, salespeople. They are there to sell you on a product, even if it doesnt work with your firearm. I have had multiple experiences of workers lying to my face to either try to sell me something I didnt want, or because they didnt want to help me. They also price things well above what they are sold for online, which is common with brick and mortar stores, but they seem to be the worst offender in the area.

Hands down best service. Range staff always attentive and make me feel comfortable if I ever have a question. The store was busy but Stefan and Ebony treated me like I was their only customer during my order for amo which they had both of what I needed and range time transaction. Very over price I believe they take advantage of people because of there location. I seen a fn tactical for 1000 with sight, two 24 round clips and one 17 round clip. The same gun at Dunham only 4 miles away for 950.00 They wanted over 1250.00

Big selection, clean shop. This was the only gunshop that didnt laugh when I asked if they had the AR-15 I was looking for, and I asked about 10 others. During these panic buying times alot of places are price gouging. I did see prices cheaper from online sources but nobody had it, and by time you pay shipping and transfer fees your right there. Both the salesman and manager worked with me and were informative and helpful. Thanks again!

And the experience I had at that place was very pleasant and it was very open-minded and very informative and actually took the quality time to go through the basics of pistol handling thoroughly if one person from the staff couldnt assist you right away another one was never far behind which was greatly appreciated which also encourage me to sharpen my shooting skills you cannot ask for a better place did you get your basic training for The Last 5 Years I hesitated to take the course which makes me very appreciative that I did if I had another course a few years earlier they probably would have been a hell of a lot worse which I am grateful for the time that was spent during my 8 hour session I am actually receiving this now in the middle of my 8 hour work day and Im taking the time out to State my opinion if anybody thats easy going peacemaking and also have a open mind thats the place I would recommend and I thank everyone from salesman at the counter at both counters to my instructor which assisted me greatly on the 12th of November and also the instructor in the shooting range as well not to mention management and other employers of that establishment I have met earlier a week ago Action Impact is a place I can definitely recommend for those who needs the assistance or even a advanced course is not to take lightly but it is very helpful every step of the way and for that establishment in the future I hope it grows and is more informative and beneficial for the people that can use their assistance Humbly .LaDale C. Just went to look at a firearm to purchase and look into classes..and because of covid there is a limit of people in the store, but there was a couple able to go in together but when it was our turn the guy said one at a time, or whoever is purchasing can only go in. I dont know alot about the different types of firearms so I needed my partner to go with me. Even though I know the guy could help I wanted my partner there to make the right decision. So guess what...I didnt go in. Ill try it another day another time.

Just had the worst customer service in my life. Normally love this place and Ive waited 2 months to get back inside to purchase 2 guns. The kid behind the counter made us feel as though we were bothering him and lacked any form of knowledge. Total waste of time, never have I left a store so disgruntled.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Organized and orderly, ever when they are very busy. The range is well supervised and I feel incredibly safe in that environment. Never shot a pistol. Took the wife and we decided to give it a shot. We didnt do too bad but then we decided to take the CPL class (ladies only) with Nneka. Its been a year or so now. If you find a range you like thats safe, clean, responsible, the staff is helpful... to me thats a win. Range time is really important and the more you go, the more you know. You start to build relationships with the staff. I saw a guy give 1 star simply because he read the website and didnt agree with their ammunition policy. They are trying to assure that you are using safe ammo and that your firearm doesnt explode in your face. If your standards are lower than theirs about your safety, this is not the range for you. Also, its not difficult to get someones attention if your trying to purchase a firearm, (another single star review) Afterall, money talks. They do custom orders for firearms and have other resources for conceal carry and open carry custom options. These are my people.

The staff was great and very helpful. We were there on a Sunday morning just as they opened. Man Its a popular place. Even with the rush of people that were trying to get in to shoot and the class(s) that whey were having at the same time the staff was awesome. They took the time to explain their processes and procedures of their range. They were very efficient and at the same time made you feel comfortable. The range master was attentive and took the time to help if needed. He was always within reach and helping folks if they needed it. The range was nice and clean, parking was great and the store in front was clean and well kept. We have been trying every range on the east side and this is the best so far. I cant say enough about the people and how professional and friendly the were. Well be back.

When you order weapons online I highly suggest you do not have them sent to this location, the people are very unprofessional, no very customer service oriented and the wait time to get your weapon processed for pick up is ridiculous. They only have 1 person processing incoming orders online and they are not very productive.

Great GREAT GREAT establishment! I initially avoided bringing my business here due to the location but that was such a huge mistake. Their staff, from sales to instructors, are amazing! This place was great. Very clean location. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive and sticklers for safety. At most ranges youre basically on your own, even sweeping up your own spent shells. But someone even did that here, and they were always available for questions even offering advice.

Took CPL class here on Aug. 18, 2016. The instructor Bryan Hill was veryknowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. He answered all of our questions.All of the staff were great. This will be my range to shoot. Will probablytake some advanced classes, because of my great experience.

This was my 1st time at a gun range, first time taking a cpl class, and all I can say is Im so happy that I chose this place as my intro location to the firearm world! Bryon was phenomenal! An amazing, informative experience and I cant wait to return for additional training! Not at all threatening and not once did any of the staff make me or any other beginners feel like idiots!!

Shoot there very often. Range price is very very reasonable and rental price to try out new firearms is good. Staff is very friendly and will help you with any questions to the best of their ability. Also the cpl instructor makes the class entertaining and I would recommend it to everyone.

Every time been there has been successful. They allowed me to bring both my male children and shoot- other ranges would not. I am happy with their prices. The couple people I dealt with were super nice. However they no longer work there, heard they replaced with other people at minimum wage.

Walked in a few weeks ago with a lot of questions as I had never shot a gun before, they took the time to explain everything and didnt make me feel stupid. They recommended I hire some pistols to shoot to see which ones I liked. Rico took the time to walk me through some of the basics on how to handle/shoot the guns and was very pleasant. Based on these interactions I will definitely be returning to use the range. I would of rated them 5 stars but the ammo prices are insane. They sold me 50 rounds of 9mm ammo for $17, which I found the exact same brand and grain for $9.50 online. I also found the pistol I was planning on buying from them from another gun store close by for ~$100 less. Will just bring my own gun and ammo next time

Went in to use an indoor range for the first time. Range was nice and clean. Employees were nice and very helpful. I stated it was my first time at an indoor range and the RSO on duty was super helpful and made me feel right at home! As far as prices go, range rates are pleasantly cheap for how nice the range is! I also bought a new magazine for my LC9 after my second trip and it was the same price as most online retailers... not bad for a local shop. They also have lots of guns to rent which is perfect if your looking to buy a new one! I will be shooting here a lot more!

The staff here is awesome. Being new to this, I was so nervous, but with the help of the staff I came out feeling very secure of handling a gun. The young man that supervises the shooters was very helpful and pleasant. Dont think I could have had a better experience at any other location.

I used to use another range in the area, and... to put it nicely the other places staff was not half as approachable of nice... My business goes to Action Impact from now on.

I just bought a 9mm S&W shield from here March 16. I found the staff be very friendly and knowledgeable. Clean place, and I thought their prices were fairly reasonable, compared to several other places I went to before I came here. Will be a long time customer. Keep the good work!!

Staff here are very professional and nice. We are foreigners and know little about guns, and they taught us with patience.

I like this place a lot.. the range is clean, the staff is knowledgeable and process of shooting there is well ran. My only issue with this place is that if you want to buy a gun its hard to get the staffs attention and you could stand a while because they tend to help the closest to them and not the people who have waited longer. Prices are a bit high as well. But clean and professional, my wife, her dad and I took the CPL class and loved it.

The staff is helpful to a newbie like myself. Always helpful and very knowledgeable. Other reviews have mentioned arrogance, I have not found that to be true. This is, after all, a place to shoot lethal weapons and safety rules have to be in place. The range is beautiful and very clean. Three people recommended this place to me and I will tell others.

I like it here for accessories and some pistol range time. Guns are a little more expensive here but a great selection and the staff is great too. I dont have any issues with the range rules and the RSOs are knowledgeable. Great place to browse and hang out. Action Impact is good people. 9/10 for

The noise scared the dickens out of me! My first experience so I guess it should be expected. Will go again. Staff is friendly and nice. Would prefer separate area for pistols and shotguns. Shotguns way too loud.

Dont waste your time. Went in to purchase a magazine for my pistol and shoot for a half hour on a Wednesday afternoon. In the 27 minutes I was in the building, I was acknowledged once, only to be told to hold on. There was a rough total of 4 customers in there at the time. Not acceptable for a brand new shop.

Honestly this location is better than the westside one lol... very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. I interacted with each staff there and each one was the same. I enjoyed my visit so much that I made a purchase, spent close to $600 on my first visit and I’m happy with my selection. I will be returning.

RUDE.Called about the G3c model by Taurus they had in stock girl comes back says 500.I asked why so much seeing them going for 300 something she hung up on me.So looked around got it for 349.Ill never shop here.

Better range service and staff knowledge can use some improvement. I was visiting from out of town and went there to shoot. All of the ranges I go to hold your I.D., write down the time that you went onto the range and time you once you come out to apply the appropriate charges. AIF charges you for the flat rate of either 1/2 or 1 hour which I think needs some improvement. On Saturday I went, was charged for an hour but stayed maybe 45 minutes. The fee was not prorated. Sunday I was there instructing my daughter, paid for 1/2 hour and once the 30 minute mark hit, the target came flying back in and the lane was turned off. I found that to be very rude and unbecoming of gun owners and a shooting facility. It felt as though they were saying Get the hell out of here. Here at home I go to four different facilities and they all prorate their shooting range. Crude and impolite policy on AIFs part.

Disappointed, looks nice and clean,I called during the week for a speed loader they plenty no need to call and confirm they still have it. Well according to the employee they didnt come to find out after my research they did but to late I was home already. Then I needed a pin pushed out for a sling they said a small fee to do it, it took them a minute and then charged me 20 bucks not cool first and last time for me too bad they had holsters I liked and price was fair now Ill just go elsewhere

TL;DR: I want to like this place but their poor customer service, inflated prices, and ridiculous policies makes it hard to.I do desperately want to like this place. I started off loving this place something like 2 and a half years ago when it first opened. Only place I could find ammo. I started shopping g there again maybe 6 months ago and it’s gone downhill steadily. When they first opened, the range was clean and bright. That is no longer the case. It’s cleanish and brightish, but nowhere close to what it was. They overcharge for everything. EVERYTHING. I purchased a gun that was supposed to come with 3 mags, well when I got it, it only had 2. They also were charging more than other stores in the area for the 3 mags and the same gun. The guy who sold it to me, acted like he was doing me a favor. They didn’t have the one I wanted in stock and it was almost a week to get it. Paid up front excepting 1 cent to keep the receipt open. Showed me wildly inflated prices to make me feel like I was getting a heck of deal. When I got the gun in my hands, they charged me for 4 boxes of ammo but only gave me 3. I had to go back, show the receipt, have them investigate(a polite way of accusing me of lying), and then the next day they called to say I could come get the box I paid for but never received. A box I never even wanted in the first place. If you buy anything here, make 100% sure it will work for your purposes and that you are 100% wanting it. I purchased a flashlight for my pistol because the one I already had wouldn’t work without modification. I was going to have a custom holster made to hold the light equipped pistol. I called multiple places and couldn’t get one made. I was told I couldn’t return the flashlight that now I have literally no use for. Their return policy is no returns or exchanges on ANYTHING. The only place I know of that doesn’t allow returns is a car dealership. They are always acting like they are doing you a favor instead of having actual customer service. You have to spend a lot of money before they will pay any attention to you. I could understand a no return policy on firearms themselves, but not ammo, and all the other things they sell. I could also understand an open box fee and restocking fee for returns or exchanges. To outright refuse returns and exchanges? Completely ridiculous. I so desperately want to like this place. They have no clue how bad I want to like this place.

Normally a patient person but do your best not to go when they are busy. Was in the store for 20-30 mins got zero acknowledgment not even a Ill get someone with you once we are able. Nice selection of items just a shame stuff I wanted (bcg, grips, mags..) was locked behind glass so you have to wait to buy stuff.

Newly built facility. Nice indoor shooting range but range time is very expensive and the range ammunition is ridiculously overpriced. $20 for a 50 round box of 9mm is very high and nearly twice the average price. I felt ‘ripped’. The shop carries a lot of no-name brands of accessories. No 511 Tactical or Safariland gear. The employees here are jerks and were rude to us. If they would lower their prices a little bit and hire some friendlier help, this place would get 5 stars everytime!

This place is a newer facility. Its nice and clean and the range equipment is pretty new. Having said that i have been to the range before where they put me on a bad targeting lane and that was very frustrating. Prices are very expensive to shoot unless you buy there ammo which is even more of a rip off. The staff seems to be in their own little world and not truly helpful. I asked help several times and these guys seemed to barely even know surface knowledge of the firearm or any related questions. The owner is also kinda cocky and very arrogant. The only reason i go here is because they allow you to shoot rifles. If your only using a pistol I would recommend Peter’s jn Roseville. I live in Eastpointe just 1 mile away and will go out of my way to avoid these guys. Time to hire new staff & new management.

By far the worst gun store Ive ever dealt with, Ive been to most gun stores in the Wayne county and Oakland county area and Ive never experienced one as bad as this one. For a brand new store youd expect great service to build cliental but no theyre absolutely ridiculous there. They will let you waste your money on junk and rip you off easy. Take your money somewhere more experienced, and also appreciative of your business. Not somewhere youll spend 2K and theyll still talk to you as if you needed them and they didnt need your business. Respect is not demanded but atleast respect the meaning of business.

This place is a joke. There is a sign on wondow big letters stating $10 for half hr range time. I enter Action impact with my own ammo for my 9mm. And they said it will be $5 more sense i am using my own ammo. Also i asked ok how much is ur standard box of 50 9mm he says $24. They are charging double almost double what Field and Streams charges. I will never go to this range again. And i do not recommend it to anybody. I would recommend Close Quarters Tactial at 23 mile and hays. Way better range prices are fair and they charge you for bringing ur own ammo. I would give Action Impact 0 stars if i could.

Took my CPL class here 2 weeks ago. Bryon was an excellent instructor. Very informative. I learned quite a bit in the class considering Im a noob with guns...only had my pistol for a couple months, first gun Ive owned. Bryon was very thorough, ENCOURAGED questions, questions and more questions. Nice guy, personable, knows his stuff and has an extensive background. One you hit the range though, look out... he doesnt F@#k around. You WILL follow the rules for safety and do exactly how he instructs or youre gone. Theres no tolerance for not following his range rules.Action Impact as a facility is beautiful. Clean, well stocked and well staffed. I purchased a holster here yesterday, and the employee assisting me couldnt have been nicer. I though for sure, Id walk in to buy something and Id be met with an attitude or arrogance because Im a newbie gun owner and dont know the different products etc. I was totally wrong. Very pleasant experience. I wont hesitate to go here in the future!Just an FYI for anyone wondering the turn around time for CPL...my permit arrived in the mailbox exactly 1 week to the day after being fingerprinted and paying the $100.00 to the clerk (Macomb County) I was really surprised it was that quick.
