I went there to purchase a few books as a birthday gift and walked out with a lot more…At the customer service I asked the front desk gentleman named Toby to help me picking the right books and he not just gave me great options to work with but he also help me with shipping, wrapping and finding more options available at Barnes & Noble. With his help I was able to skip a trip to the post office and didn’t even need to purchase wrapping paper because they gave me enough to wrap 5 books. This place makes me wanna go back for all of my Christmas shopping!!

Nice and clean...should expand into a social experience since no one is buying books in stores anymore. Maybe sublease part of the store to a bar or have trivia night. Then again the whole mall is becoming extinct unfortunately.

Irresponsible Book sellers. I placed an order over a week ago and the books didnt come. I need the books for class that starts in a week. Why should I suffer because the book sellers here are irresponsible. Staff is nice and kind but doesnt know what they are doing in the store. Hey managers there help your workers learn their job. Barnes Nobles is a great company. Im surprised by what happened. I even hung up on the seller in disgust. She was a very nice lady. Im just frustrated by the lack of people not knowing things like orders I could understand if you dont know where something is. I actually wrote a previous review on your company and Im going kept the review. Because that time I was happy with what you did and you deserve it. Please call me. I was gonna give oe star but instead I will will give you three. If you can help me with my problem before my classes start at the University of Washington online then I will change this review to a five star one.

Magazines are always a week behind. I was looking for something specific that I knew was current and asked. I was escorted to boxes and told we just dont have time to place them. Check back in a few days Really?! Shop Rite had it! This is why I canceled my membership three years ago. Just not efficient.

Came specifically for Wifi this visit. After I couldnt connect on any of my devices I asked and was told they no longer have free wifi and havent for awhile. Id ask why that isnt reflected on Google or maybe take the free wifi sign down from the window.

I had been in the store a few weeks back and found the exact book Id been looking for. I finally decided to go back today and buy it but the table it resided on had moved it seemed. I decided to go to customer service to see if they still had the book in stock and they did! Everyone was very helpful and I suggest buying books from this store. (P.S. they sell a lot more than just books!)

There is something odd about this place. I think they made the same mistake as whole foods hiring the odd to serve the public only works in academia cafeterias.

The B&N at the Monmouth Mall is wonderful. It is very clean and spacious. The staff are courteous and helpful. Very good selection of books. Starbucks is in the back. The great thing is that if you are broke, and there is a particular book that you want, they will put it on hold for you. A very nice store inside the mall but has its own separate entrance from outside.

Always have the book I need. If they dont they order it. The bathrooms are always clean. Just wish the attached coffee joint wasnt a starbucks....i dont drink sewer water. But the coffee doesnt effect the rating.......not their fault starbucks sucks

The man talked with a friend or customer for over 10 minutes while line accumulated, the other checker tried to explain a discount to her customer for the next 10 minutes . my turn omg I thought Id scream, now he wants to chat with me ...... Went in for Star Bucks, came out with a book.

This is a very clean and well managed store. The staff helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I also enjoyed a hazelnut latte and chocolate chip cookie with the coupon I received at check out. Highly recommend this store for your reading needs.

Looking for a book in this store & the employee asked us if we were ready to check out, we asked if he could find a book for us and he said “no actually I can’t, we’re closed” in a snarky voice. They were not closed.He followed this up by ringing us up for two books related to sexual trauma and upon reading the titles exclaimed “oh geez! Well my father just died, so I understand trauma and all that.” Somehow I guess he doesn’t understand the difference.Entirely tone-deaf and horrible service at this store tonight.

Barnes and Noble has always been one of my favorite store. Always a nice selection of new titles and older books. Even though the process are higher than what I can get online. To me there is nothing better than browsing the shelves and stumbling across my next favorite book. The staff is usually helpful and knowledgeable. Recently I was able to bring my 1 year old daughter to story time, and she absolutely loved it, it was a fun experience for her to sit with a bunch of other kids listening to a story.

I LOVE this location!!! Its spacious. Its bright. There are plenty of seats, sofas, and benches. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Their selection is diverse, although they need to improve their Braille selection. There is a mall entrance as well an independent entrance. There is plenty of parking, and the cafe never disappoints.

I have always loved Barnes & Noble. They are always well stocked with books, and the staff is very helpful. The store can get crowded at times, however, theyre able to move people in and out fairly quickly. They also have a coffee bar in there where you can get a Starbucks drink. There are plenty of places to read books or just relax with a cup of coffee. The only one small drawback is that it is in a shopping mall and the parking can be tough, especially around the

Where to find a dictionary in large print for my brother as a birthday present. The worker noticed that I was having a hard time locating type of dictionary without having to be asked approached was quick to jump in and help search for this book. It took us a minute but just as I was about to give up he spotted one. I was happy my gift, made my brother happy and the employee that jumped in he was very happy to have helped me. I will be going back again books make great gifts.

I understand with recent events of Toys R Us closing parents will need alternative options for finding toys. However I came there with my 2 and 4 yr old only to find half of childrens book section to be completely toys. This was an immediate distraction for the both of them, no longer did our trip become a day in the world bookstore and but a no we are not here for toys lecture. Maybe a curtain or hidden section, not so prevalent that parents are pressured when visiting.

I must thank the employees of this store for their assistance and their honesty. I was shopping there to spend a $50.00 gift card and when I checked out I couldnt find it. Apparently I had dropped it. I let the staff know and left my phone number in case someone turned it in. Shortly after I left a lovely woman called me right away. I wish more people were so honest and helpful as she, I was so happy and grateful and will be back to shop there many times weather I have a gift card or not.
