After the worst experience I’ve had in a while at the Rite aid down the street, I was met with excellent service here. I want to give a special thanks to James who works at the pharmacy. He was able to quickly give me a prescription for my dog who’s been in the emergency room for several days. I walked in pretty frantic and upset at the world already and he really helped me a lot. It’s been a really hard time for me and my family and he made my day a lot better and made things easier for me. This is a great CVS and I highly recommend coming here. Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity James!

Today was just one of many visits to this pharmacy in 4 years where I received very poor customer service at the pharmacy counter. I was told by an associate at the pick up window that I couldnt update my prescription card there...to go to drop- off window. Two people ahead of me there. I waited 20 minutes with no eye contact from the pharmacist or 3 assistants. No other pick-ups came during that time. Finally, a customer behind me in line called out for help. Two assistants came and I was told to go back to the pick-up window. My card was updated in under 2 minutes. I asked why this could be done now at this window and not earlier. The response was basically that they cant assist with anything else at that window but that they wanted to keep everyone calm. No apologies and an edge in voice with the response. So much for personal care, courtesy and service.

Can you imagine they told me when they put a request into my dr for a refill the system automatically calls me for 48 hrs to say my rx is ready for pickup whether request was completed or not... This has happened to me 3 times before I finally was able to pry out of them how the heck this happen... and this somehow seemed normal to them🤦‍♀️

Abysmal service at this location! I am a scientist and was also in medicine before becoming ill and this pharmacy should be embarrassed!CVS gets a LOT of money because of my meds for my disabilities every month! Trying to get a prescription transferred was almost impossible! If I only knew then that it would just get WORSE! (I wish Kmart hadnt closed! They were amazing for years!)We were having a problem getting Walgreens to tranfer a script to CVS and Andrew at CVS was snotty and HUNG UP on me because I didnt know the number off hand! This was after he kept talking to other people while I was talking to him without excusing himself. We called back (my family was listening to all the conversations on speaker) and talked to a manager and they said his behavior was completely unacceptable and the main store manager would call, but never did. Obviously they dont care. They also dont seem to believe anyone does anything except sit around waiting for their scripts! We planned a script pick up and a family trip around the text they sent stating the date a monthly script would be ready. I have MANY scripts that are all meds I have been on for years due to long-term, permanent health issues so we try to coordinate things into as few trips as possible. All the other scripts had been picked up the day before. I arranged for someone to pickup the last script according to the date CVS texted like every other month (the normal day or two before you run out.)The next morning they went to pick up my script, but we suddenly received a text that now we couldnt have it until 3 days later. We called to see if it was an insurance hang up and offered to just pay cash if it was. The person had a nasy tone and said he decided I didnt need it until 3 days later. I asked why? We pick up all scripts a day or two before we run out like normal people.I explained that Im not driving currently and would have to arrange for another pick up and it wasnt possible the day they wanted to change it to. We had somewhere to go this week, but the person wouldnt listen and said I was available all week! EXCUSE ME? Last I checked I didnt have to explain when we would be in town to a STRANGER on the phone who has our ADDRESS!I didnt understand why he was being so rude and asked why we couldnt pick up my meds like we do every month and asked to speak to his supervisor. He said HE was the pharmacist and he could make ANY CHOICE HE WANTED WITH MY SCRIPT!!! He didnt care that THEY set the first pickup date or that we made plans around it! I dont know why he was so nasty! My doctor called it in in plenty of time to make sure! We cant go now because we wont have my meds in time! Why is he messing with my script? Weve NEVER had a pharmacist behave so BADLY! I told him I was disabled and had to make arrangements for pickup in advance and he just kept his NASTY TONE and insisted I had no plans the following week! He said I couldnt have my script like normal because HE DIDNT FEEL LIKE IT and it was HIS CHOICE! Why would you make a person wait for 3 more days to the very last minute when its not necessary and it had never been done before!!!! Obviously he doesnt get that the disabled have lives too!We tried to pick up the script on the day he changed it to and WE GOT ANOTHER TEXT! Now they were OUT OF STOCK! Seriously! They KNEW we needed the script and obviously this guy has nothing better to do than play God with disabled peoples meds! We called the pharmacy and the person on they phone sounded like they just woke up. We asked when my meds would be ready and he said maybe tomorrow, maybe later. Are you kidding! This is a med you have to take EVERY DAY. We have had it! We called my doctor and told them what CVS did and had them REMOVED from our pharmacy list and had it called in to another pharmacy that was VERY KIND. CVS doesnt need the money from all my meds obviously.AVOID CVS! THEY DISCRIMINATE! If they dont have COMPASSION People with severe illnesses dont be in the pharmacy business!

Ever since they moved from the Marshalls plaza, the customer service has gone down hill. I can understand why they put in self check out kiosks because customer service does not exist.I ordered Christmas cards to be made back on December 6. Never received an email advising order was ready. I went in a couple days later and they told me that there was an issue with the printer and to give it a week/ week and a half since they would be backed up. Went in today and was told the photos are now lost and theres nothing they could do. Its a good thing I opted to pay in store once picked up and I already planned for this to backfire. The only saving grace to this store is its pharmacy and thats why it at least gets a star

Their website states walk-ins welcome for flu shots. None of the reservation spots were taken, thus I knew I could walk-in. There were people there to provide the shot. They said no injections without reservations. I notified them what the site stated, then they came up with different excuses and where else to go for the shot. Very lazy. Go somewhere else and dont waste your time driving there. They cant be bothered.

The drive-up window for pharmacy has decent response time but you can forget about anyone answering the phone; 20mins., 30mins or more on hold and its despicable. you can always do automated. sometimes you wanna talk to a live person but theres no one picking up the phone. better you go walgreens or shop-rite instead. my mother dropped off a script and instead of calling and telling her they dont carry what was prescribed, they held onto that script for over a week; no phone call. she had to call and ask if script was filled or not. thats just lousy customer service.

If I could give -5 stars I would. Lived in this area for 45 years and this store is the absolute WORST. One register open in the store, lines up the aisles. And forget the pharmacy. The places should be condemned. 5-6 people “working” but nothing is happening. Phones ringing off the hook, one register open, line up the aisles. The staff isn’t too bright on top of it. Only reason I go here is because they stock certain medications no other local pharmacies do. Please if corporate is reading these comments do something about the lack of customer service at this location. Also the prices are astronomical as well. Too much competition out there to be too big for your britches!

I checked on the status of a prescription numerous times this week, and was told it would be ready today. They then told me it was out of stock as I was getting dressed to go get it this morning. Then I called and asked if I could get the script to deliver to another pharmacy. So I went there in person, for the head pharmacist to laugh and say its an electronic script, and I drove there for nothing. Im never giving this pharmacy my business again, I highly suggest you dont either.

I threw out my back today and went to the IMA. I was in a lot of pain. The doctor called in my script and I ran over. When I arrived it was 6 minutes til closing. When I was greeted two minutes. My prescription didn’t go through so I called the IMA back for them to resend. At which tine there was an employee closings the gates around me and two other clients. I was than told we are closing in one minute. I apologized and stated that I understood they wanted to go home but I’m in a lot of pain. I was given a look. Than I was told by the pharmacist that he had some place to be. This isn’t my first time that I received horrible service from the shrewsbury pharmacy but it is the last. I had the dr call my script into Rite Aid. By the time I left cvs and reached rite aid my prescription was ready with a smile. Hello new pharmacy that seems to value their clients.

On 7/20, I got bee sting in the afternoon. I was home alone and could not find epipen. I am allergic to bee sting and the reaction got worse and worse. I drove to this pharmacy which is the closest medical place to my house. The pharmacy manager came to help me right away. His name is Shawn or Shane D. He got me the epipen and let me sit there. He also went to get benadryl from counter and unboxed, peeled it for me. He asked me how I feel so many times and offered to call 911 if I feel worse. Eventually, my father in law came to pick me up after about half hour later. Because of the reaction and dizziness, I paid the bill and left without saying thank you. I really appreciate this help and hoping he find this comment. Also other pharmacy staff was very welcoming and ask if I need help.

This place is a zoo. I dropped off a prescription that was too early to fill. Fine. Ill wait. I was tole it would be ready on the 30th of the month. Fine. Ill wait. On the 29th of the month I called to ask if the prescription was ready for pickup the following day on the 30th. I was told yes. On the 30th they tell me the medication has to be ORDERED and wont be ready til the next day!! I was told TWICE it would be ready on the 30th. The store claims NO medication can be ordered til it can be filled, in other words all the stock of drugs behind the counter isnt really there and has to be ordered! I drop a fortune in this store every month. The service STINKS. And they LIE saying the medication couldnt be ordered til it was ready to be filled. That simply is NOT true. They should have ordered the medication last week when the received the prescription. Be very careful when you give them your prescription, ask if the medication is IN STOCK.Their lie is in claiming they dont replenish their inventory on a regular basis. And thats nonsense. They should have ordered it last week when my prescription was dropped.off. When they enter a drug into their system and they see the store has run out they order it. So that wasnt done and they lied TWICE to me.
