We used Cortez Cigars at our wedding. We had a live roller come and roll the cigars in front of everyone. It was a huge crowd pleaser! So many people wanted to watch and went out in the cold to partake in the final product! I would definitely recommend.

It was wonderful having Cortez Cigars as a surprise for my husband at our wedding reception! Our guests enjoyed watching the cigars being rolled as well as smoking them together to celebrate as our families traditionally smoke cigars during joyous events. It was also nice that a gift bag was prepared for the groom to enjoy at a later date!

We ordered Cortez cigars for both my daughter’s and son’s weddings, and they were a huge hit. Rolled perfectly and great tasting. They also made up special wedding wrappers to celebrate each occasion, and Jennifer was wonderful to work with. Thanks for making both days wonderful

Stopped for the first time yesterday and had a great experience. The guy working was very helpful and informative. I believe his name was Evan but could be wrong. Bought 5 cigars to try and tried the Cortez 10th anniversary tonight and what a great cigar. Will definitely be buying more. My new go to for cigars!

Stopped in for my 1st time today. What a cool place to chill out &have a very nice hand-rolled, reasonably-priced fresh smoke with a few friends, or even one of the regulars hanging out. Lots of comfy seating areas inside & outside. Jennifer & Luis Cortez are very nice & hospitable. I will definitely be coming back with a few buddies to hang out.

Worth the drive out from across the state! Their cigars are all hand rolled there which are full of great taste. They only sell all their own cigars. The furniture is all handmade. The staff is really friendly making you feel at home. They also have their own dark chocolate which is complex with many notes that pair up amazingly with their cigars.Come by and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

Went to a private party at Mt friend Sarina and they were amazing I never smoked cigars and Mr. Cortez’ expertise was amazing his guidance was perfect.

I like this place. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. You can smell the products, either on the shelves or being smoked, since you can light em up in the old house. Dont forget that if you get 20+ cigars, you get a dollar off each! Cheers

Went there with my dad this past Christmas and had the single best experience Ive ever had at a cigar shop. The place is BEAUTIFUL (looks like the inside of an old victorian house) and the owner/manager was the friendliest and nicest person ever. He was literally on his way out, but my dad had never seen someone hand-roll a cigar. He let us know unfortunately he was leaving but gave us a complimentary stout beer to enjoy with our cigars. Out of nowhere he came over to where we were sitting, grabbed his cutting devices and some materials, and rolled a cigar especially for my dad since he was from out-of-town. He also gave that cigar to us on-the-house. I cant wait to go back! Sir, you are a true gentleman and an exceptional purveyor of customer service - thank you so much for everything!!

Great cigars!

The best cigars out there, period. Every single one Ive ever had burned perfectly or nearly so, they are always fresh, oily and fragrant, and the blends are imaginative and well balanced. And putting aside quality (always most important, the price puts them right over the top; there are simply no other cigars out there that match the QPR provided by Cortez. By the way, great place to relax and burn through a stick. Ive never referred someone whos been disappointed, and many of my friends have become Cortez devotees. Great job guys!

Previous review was a stupid finger slip on the phone. Cortez Cigars deserves nothing less than five stars! Not only have I had the pleasure of visiting the shop on two occasions, I was also able to have Cortez provide cigars for my wedding. Lorenzo was super professional, on time, and was a big hit! I had the pleasure of meeting Cortez Cigars at Beer, Bourbon & BBQ in NYC this winter. The quality of their product is simply amazing. Each cigar that I have enjoyed has a perfect burn and a nice, oily wrapper that provides great flavor and a smooth even draw.I have gifted their cigars to friends, relatives, clients and cigar aficionados and each has expressed their thanks! Cortez Cigars shop is now like a second home for me. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. The Cigars are great in quality and price.All i can ask from them, is to create lockers so i can keep my bourbon there.

This place is a haven for cigar buffs. I plan on buying a ton cigars from. They make their own and the quality is amazing. Its also a very relaxing atmosphere with tons of couches, a smoking bar and a table.

I am a big cigar smoker and stock my cigar room at home with close to a 1,000 cigars of all kinds from Cubans to all the brands you find in a cigar shop. I usually try to find custom hand rolled blends with mixed success. Either quality is poor or price does not match the quality. That is not the case with Cortez. I compare these cigars to the like of Graycliff, HUpman (Cuban), Byron (and if you know Byron cigars this is a high honor), among a few others in terms of taste and burn. The Navesink Fuerte sometimes draw hard but taste great. I usually buy 30-50 of three types at a time to store in my humidor and share with people who know cigars and who have never smoked a Cortez and they never disappoint. I can say that these are my favorite. I have not tried all of their cigars, for full disclosure, and I only know them as a customer. They wouldnt know my name but may remember my face when I go to the register with up to 50 cigars in my hand.

Stay away from this company, they will charge your guests more money at your wedding reception then play dumb when you call about it afterwards. The owner was terribly rude on the phone...not how business should be handled. They have no regard for the customer.
