We have done two projects with Glass Doctor and both have been great experiences! Before we moved out of our last home we needed to have a couple windows replaced, and today they replaced a shower door at our new home. Great job done timely with awesome staff! The technicians were professional and friendly. The office staff was very efficient. The price paid was very good relative to other quotes. The only hiccup (minor considering it was an inside door) was the the first replacement glass was ordered incorrectly and had to be reordered. Whole process took about an extra 2+ weeks. That said I was not in that big of a rush and the people were apologetic and id excellent work.

Glass doctors was able to cut a piece of glass to the specifications needed in a very timely manner allowing me to replace a broken window. They were able to do it cheaper and faster than anywhere else and offered a free can of glass cleaner when I went to pick it up. Very pleased

Even though the window panel couldnt be replaced and we had to replace the entire frame the speed and communication they made the process of having them do the work was very easy and smooth. I spoke with Robbin and she was very nice and made the hassle of fixing a window very easy. Would Recommend !!

Lets see: Fast, reliable, beautiful and a great value. What more could you ask for? I had several replacement windows that after 20 years had broken seals leading to foggy panes you couldnt see through. Had a couple of estimates from window replacement companies and Glass Doctors. The Glass Doctor quote was about 10% of the replacement cost so I was thrilled.

Let me explain why 3 and not 5 stars. The people who actually did my replacement for my windshield had great attitudes and did a great job repairing and keeping their word on time frame completion. Now the people in the office, 1 guy seemed more interested in his purchase on whatever he was buying instead of allowing me to use 2 credit cards to pay for the service, so instead I placed it on 1 cause the tech was willing to due his job. The attitude both office people gave while I sat there with my headset in was unprofessional.

Have used this vendor before. Just replaced a broken window, noticed a new charge this time... ladder rental $35. You would think that a 3 step, 4 foot high ladder in the glass replacement business, would be included as standard equipment? Not for Glass Doctors. Was not notified in advance of the change either. Sneaky, way of increasing their costs by 10% without having to say a word...

Wonderful service on both sides of the business. Customer service was excellent and installation was excellent. I would highly recommend glass Doctor to my family and friends. I had 6 of my failing triple pane argon gas windows repaired. time will tell if they stand up to the weather but the installation tech knew what he was doing. GREAT BUSINESS WITH GREAT SERVICE!!!

The double-pane glass was damaged. The replacement glass looks like new. They were very efficient and practiced all safety standards.

I actually was recommended to go to Glass Doctors by a neighbor in the NextDoor ap. I had been driving around with a cracked windshield, and just had not researched where to go. The neighbor had a great experience so I scheduled my car for windshield replacement. The customer service was very helpful - working with me and the insurance company. I had it done at their location in Eden Prairie. Very nice technician. I worked on my computer (they had internet) and it was ready in 90 minutes. I highly recommend.

Glass Doctor is Fast, efficient and affordable. We replaced a pair of glass panes comprising a casement window for $600 including tax, etc. and one year warranty for breakage. The alternative was to replace the entire window for over $4K. And the lead time with Glass Doctor was two weeks to order the glass and a few days to schedule the installation. Steve came over and installed both panes about one hour. I highly recommend them.

Good service, good quote, efficient install. Had two windows with half of the glass needing replacement. On install they did break one of them. Had to wait a couple weeks for replacement to come, but how they handled it was superb, so no complaints. Will use again.

Glass Doctor was recommended to me. However, they were not interested in doing the work, or even in giving me an estimate. Not what I was expecting from a company that specializes in glass repair.

When I had someone come out to quote my glass replacement they verbally said around $400 for my slider. When I received the quote by email it was double that. Apparently he failed to tell me it was $400 PER SIDE of my window. I needed it replaced and ultimately went with Glass Doctor but I was disappointed to hear that the quote was double what I was expecting to see. The installation technician was very quick and did a good job.

My wife and I recently had a bathroom remodeled in the lower level of our home and Glass Doctor was recommended to us by our general contractor, David McBroom. The Doctor came out as soon as they could in that process, took measurements and made sure they knew just what we wanted and then did the installation ASAP. A slight error was made with the mirror measurement but the Doctor replaced it as soon as they possibly could. The Doctor has great service, great employees and do the very best at installation.

I had the misfortune of my drivers side window being smashed in on Saturday. Working with my insurance was a headache, but Glassdoctor was the knight of shining armor in this unfortunate situation. We had Glass Doctor in Eden Prairie fix our van windshield about a month ago after a rock hit it. Now about a month later a bird flew Into the windshield! Both times we had EXCELLENT experiences!! I will use Glass Doctor in the future and would recommend them to anyone. The first time they came to my home and due to the rain (My garage is too small for them to do the project in) we had to schedule to have it done at their shop in EP. The second time I knew to just schedule my appt to have it replaced at their shop. First time took 90 minutes, second time about 2 hours. I had my 3 young children with me. They were kind enough to drop us off at the mall so we didn’t have to wait in their waiting room. I thought this was going the extra mile!Thank you again for the exceptional service :)

My patio door shattered for no apparent reason this winter and it was going to cost a lot to replace the whole door so I called glass doctor to get a quote They were very reasonable and were able to put in new tempered glass for my door within 10 days. It was professionally done and it looks like the original. Good job Glass Doctor!

Glass Doctor of Minneapolis...Called to replace windshield in my Audi A4. They replaced it many years ago, (Old location) without issues. This time there were many issues.Job went terrible. Scheduled a week out so they could order windshield. Arrived at Glass Doctor at 9:50AM 10 min. early for appointment. (Was suppose to take 1 hour or less according to phone quote) After sitting for 1/2 hour, was told there was a schedule error, due to computer problem and I would have to come back at noon. Came back at at noon and I was told still be behind, come back at 1 PM ... which I did and waited and waited, at 2 PM the installer came out and instead of installing my windshield, he talked to a walk-in with a boat side window and took the job ahead of my appointment which was scheduled a week out. Everyone was very rude. Turns there were no computer scheduling problems, they just schedule everything ad hoc. They figured my insurance job was locked in, so they slide new business ahead of my appointment. I understand insurance gets a discounted price, but thats no excuse. I caught them in lies several times. Finally, about 2:30 PM the installer started on my car. I waited and waited, 3:30 should be completed by now, why not, got no answers just boiler plate BS. Finally, a left though the front door, walked around back to the garage door which was open and checked on my car. Windshield was out with broken glass on dash. He was not even working on my car. He was working on cutting glass for another job. I asked when would he finish me car, he was very rude and did not give me an answer. I went back to the office and complained, got no answers, just excuses, blaming the computer. Finally, about 5PM I got my car back and drove it home. Windshield looked good from outside. The next morning, I notices a big globs of windshield sealant had oozed out on the right door pillar fabric and was setup. Very poor quality job considering it took all day. The person who scheduled the appointment over the phone was very nice. Once, I got there, everyone was rude, nobody cared, once job was scheduled!! Will never use Glass Doctor again.!!!

I had someone come out to replace a broken glass a few months back which was winter time. The gentleman was very nice and replaced the glass just fine. A month or so later when I opened the window it now does not stay up. So I called asked for someone to come and fix the problem. I scheduled a date which I had to cancel because of a conflict with a open house I was having (Im trying to sell) so it was rescheduled for to weeks later for a 8-12 appointment. I called at 10 to see approx what time they were coming she said she would forward the message and someone will call. 11:30 I called back and now someone else tells me we dont do that we are strictly glass youll have to speak to a manager on MondayAre you kidding me! I cancelled a open house for absolutely nothing?

Not a good first impression. While other companies like Rapid Glass, took their time to explain things with knowledge and detail, the lady that called my fiancee was rude and didnt sound knowledgeable at all. Question was, how would you guys take care of the gunk between the windows? ... a lot of noise in the background and the lady sounding irritated responded maam we take the window out and put in a new one! I had to ask my fiancee when she called me, the entire WINDOW??I know its a single person and shouldnt reflect on the entire company but definitely not going to call again.

I cant speak for their home or auto service, but stay away if you want to order DIY replacement glass. The central dispatch is pleasant and prices are in line with everyone else, but the Eden Prairie offices pick-up hours are restrictive and unreliable- they randomly closed up shop early after explicitly stating theyll be in shop when I call.I do not enjoy making multiple trips to a distant suburban office to pick up a simple order- it wipes out any benefit of choosing them over other suppliers and I should have paid a few more dollars to avoid the hassle. Two stars is for the benefit of a doubt and for the nice jingle.
