I love my new glasses! Crystal the manager followed my glasses through and made sure they were done right! And she turned every past negative experience into a positive one. Thank you!
My Dr. had retired so this was my first visit here. I had a wonderful experience from the moment I walked in the door. The staff was very friendly. Dr. Martin was very nice and informative. I have to say that was the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. I was very impressed! When it came to choosing eye wear, the staff had my eye benefits ready and explained it. They took their time to help me choose the perfect eye wear for me. I never felt rushed. I have no complaints whatsoever. I will definitely be back for my yearly eye exams.
Very helpful with picking out new glasses. She was very friendly.
Service is great, and they explain what is going on with your eyes. They dont discount their products. Glasses and lenses are very expensive. They overestimated my co-payment by about $150.
Took my daughter here last year, the Dr. Was so patient and also very funny, took the time to answer tons of questions, and we learned a lot of really cool things about the eyes, we have an appointment in October for my granddaughter, very thorough exam.
My preference is always to support local businesses. Having just moved to town, I had hoped that “MyEyeDr” would be my new go-to eye doc. It took just a few short minutes in the office to convince me to never spend a dime here. Let me explain…I’ve been wearing contacts for over 30 years. Every year, I see an eye doctor to renew my prescription. Inevitably, I’m out of contacts around the time of my appointment, and during my visits to 8 different offices over the years, I’ve ALWAYS been given a pair of fresh contacts while I wait for the next year’s supply to come in.Because of this, I know that every eye doctor has a supply of contacts in my very common prescription on the shelf. Every. Single. One.Today I was in a bind. I didnt have an appointment, and I certainly wasnt expecting a free pair of contacts. But I lost my backup lenses in the move, and we just had an emergency at the child trafficking rescue home we operate in Thailand. I had to book a flight for Monday, and my current contacts are shot. So as you can imagine, I’m pretty desperate for something to get me through the next couple of weeks. Here’s what COULD have happened: They COULD have understood. They COULD have sold me an emergency pair of contacts. They COULD have made an effort to explore a few options before shooing me out the door. And I WOULD have paid almost anything so that I could see.But that’s not what happened.Instead, they looked at me skeptically, as though I was concocting some fake story to get contacts without a prescription. These aren’t opioids, folks...it’s just curved plastic. They had nothing for me, and even if they did it would take a couple of weeks, and I’d have to buy a 6-month supply.Really? No samples, no emergency supply, nothing? Are they the only eye doc in the country that doesn’t receive free samples from Acuvue to hand out to patients? Give me a break. We all know that’s ridiculous. Of course they have samples. Of course they can accommodate a genuine emergency.I wonder if they realize that a simple gesture would have earned them many thousands of dollars in return from myself and my sight-challenged family of 7. Guess what? Our money is going elsewhere. As a small business owner, I would be furious over this entirely avoidable loss of revenue.Local businesses have a huge advantage over internet resellers BECAUSE they can offer personal service. And I happily pay a premium for service. But why in the world would anyone pay more to be treated with LESS care than an 800 number? There very well may be excellent doctors here. I’ll never know. To them, I say this: All of your investment in time, money, countless hours of study, and personal sacrifice to get where you are today - it can all be upended by poor front end service. You face competition from Walmart, Costco, and the online marketplace. All of which have excellent customer service and unlimited buying power. Your front end is your best chance against those odds, and right now they are absolutely killing you. Just read your reviews. Then read the reviews of your competitors. And stop wondering why you haven’t been able to buy the new Porsche yet. Because my last eye doc...with the well-trained front end that has mastered scheduling and runs smoothly while sending every patient out the door with a smile...HE drives a very, very nice Porsche...with no debt...and a month off every summer. Not because he’s a better doctor. He just understands customer service.Good luck to you. I’ll be next door at Walmart, which shouldn’t have better service, but does.
I have used and will continue to use MyEyeDr for my lenses and yearly eye exams. Love this place! It is a doctors office so, guess what??? Sometimes you may have to wait.
My appointment was scheduled for 10:40 this morning and it is now over one hour later at 11:50 and I am still waiting to be seen. I don’t understand the expectation that customers can wait as long as the business pleases because it is somehow medically related. Medical or not this is a business, and whoever does the scheduling for this location is disconnected from reality. I asked about what the hold up was and I was told there were THREE people ahead of me. Time is money, and this location certainly won’t be getting mine. I’m walking out now and will be scheduling an appointment at a different optometrist. MyEyeDr in Eden acts like they have the market cornered but they certainly don’t. 0/5 would not recommend.
Waited over 90 minutes after my appt and still nothing. I finally left. This is the second time o went and had to wait over an hour. Will not be going back.
Been trying to get a refund since July.
Friendly staff and the dr is super helpful ! They always work hard to get you the best deal!
This place is terrible not only do they advertise cheap glasses then charge you out the butt for everything but I got my glasses they were the wrong prescription then they told me I would have to come back another day to get another eye exam and I work for weeks on the road so it’s hard enough for me to schedule appointments around my work schedule I asked if I could just get my old script read and put on the new glasses but they said I would still have to come back and go to another appointment will never come back to this place again don’t waste your time or money with this company
You will find the worst service here just a bunch of people scooped off the street and given tools to exam eyes. Prepare to wait years if not an enternity to be seen even though there is tons of workers there just nobody knows what to do it’s sad and extremely unprofessional environment.
Nice and friendly, very helpful and take time to answer questions.
I waited over two hours for my appointment. I even walked out into the waiting room to ask if they forgot about me. I wont go back.
Well i am actually in a room waiting now. My appointment was at 2:40 and it is now 4:20 and i have yet to be seen by the doctor. Whoever sets up the appointments here needs to give a certain amount of time for each customer because this is ridiculous. I have been here almost 2 hours and i waited in the waiting room for an hour.
